Had my T2 camo for a few days now and I gotta say I absolutely love it! It's a fabulous piece of engineering and the attention to detail is just great. It has to be the best long session option going. I fish 40 nights each winter and this is going to change my life. If you're in the market for a Titan, just order one. You will not be disappointed.
Are you happy with the material on it? It seems they used a thicker 10,000hh on the new hide pro whereas the T2 camo is only 5000hh? Is it a still a good sized two man bivvy with the inner capsule fitted?
@@willeymunda Hi mate, yes it’s only 5,000 hydrostatic head but considering any material with a rated HH of over 1000 mm is rated fully waterproof it wasn't something that worried me. I’m sure it’s been done to save weight and enable them to keep the frame as strong as possible (which it is). With regards to size yes you definitely lose footprint and volume with the inner mesh capsule installed. I’m using mine as a luxury 1 man bivvy and it’s great. My bivvy is part photo studio, part office as well as a space for relaxing and fishing. I have a regular sized bedchair but with everything else I need for my work and fishing there’s little room for anything. I could fit another bedchair in but all the other bits would have to go (my baitboat is massive lol.) There would still be room for one chair in between the two bedchairs but not much room for anything else. You could take out the inner capsule of course and make some gains but then you lose the twinskin which is vital to reduce condensation. The winter skin is nice to have but it’s not necessary with the inner capsule in place and it’s fairly pricey. If you want room to fit two wideboys then go for the T3. Or if you have regular sized bedchairs but want the room for two day chairs and some low tables etc. then I’d just go for the T3 and be done with it. Hope that helps. If you have any other technical questions I’ve found the Nash team to be very helpful and responsive.
@@matthewcollinsanglerthank you for taking the trouble to reply with so much information it’s very much appreciated. I’ve got a Westlake Particle 2 man bivvy (from go outdoors which gets a good name for a cheaper end bivvy) at the moment which is quite big for a 2 man. I want a two man for me and my nearly 10 year old son (so isn’t an adult anyway) to night fish so it’s very interesting what you say about size I’m gonna look at the measurements for T3 and see how much bigger it is (bearing in mind it’s only me putting it up not two adults etc)
@@willeymunda If it’s just you and the lad then I’d just get the T2 mate. Nash do some real nice bed chairs specifically for young lads so you’d have loads of space. I put mine up solo easy enough and I’m sure with a bit of practice it would be much easier. I know they say you can put a T3 up solo and I’m sure with practice that’s true but I wouldn't fancy trying it! TBH if it’s just you a lad for short sessions I think I’d be looking at the Titan hides. Maybe a camo pro for yourself in either standard or XL and then a regular hide for the lad. It would be cheaper, easier to set up and give you more flexibility. If he starts to spread his wings a bit in a few years he’d have his own bivvy to get going with. Just a thought.
@@matthewcollinsangler I get your thinking but part of the night fishing thing for us is being in the same bivvy at night. I spoke with Nash the other day and they won’t be getting any hides in stock til end of June. I think the XL is £399.99 and the standard size is £349.99 and that’s without the groundsheet or fronts to them. At least when he stops coming I will have a spacious bivvy to myself I guess
I spent an absolute age choosing a new bivvy after strong winds destroyed my old one. Buying the titan t2 camo is the best purchase I've made. There isnt a better bivvy out there period. If your not too sure if you should buy it just pay the money. You will NOT be disappointed!
@@bobbyjacobs8016 I was a bit worried it was going to be too big but because of the shape of it, it doesn't look out of place alongside 1 man bivvys but you get loads of space inside which I why I bought it as I tend not to fish light. All my fishing buddies have been very impressed with it.

I have owned every version of the Titan from the original through to the 2013 relaunch (didn’t bother after that as got seriously too heavy until the Hide which I hated the low top to the door compared to the centre of the shelter itself). The only one that I would own again now would be the original Titan Viper with either the Chameleon Camo pattern or green Slippery Eel material. I don’t know why Kevin decided to change it after this one as it was virtually perfect in design (barring the short spike that most people lost after a couple of sessions!). The ‘slippery eel’ Titan Viper is up there with the very best of bivvies throughout angling history.
Hi Tommy, Unfortunately due to reasons out of our control, the release of the Titan Hide XL Camo Pro was delayed until the Summer. As a result of this, we are expecting the first shipment to arrive with us in July - subject to any further shipping delays.
Someone said possibly july......... had mine on order since october but nash never seem to give any answers to when there coming to uk, I know it's out of there control but maybe next time they should stock items before selling them 🤞
Just a shame we have to wait god knows how long! Ordered and paid for the camo pro xl last November. Pretty piss poor they haven’t come out directly and explained the problem.
Because it would set alarm bells ringing mate, i bought a t2 3 year ago used it twice, noticed it didnt have the uv protection on it,they changed straight away, but my biggest gripe was the puddling at the peak sent me a tension bar, that was useless and didn't work, even sent them photos, now the elastic is snapping, its not down to over usage as i only go 3or4 times a year.
