Ironically, Underground 1 Is the less Ricer game of the Two. Most of the Cars and Parts, still stand the test of time.
Just look at the Character/AI Cars. They look a looooot better and tasteful than every Underground 2 Car ever.
The Eastsiderz livery had subtle differences for each Member of the group.
Eddie has Phoenix
Kurt has Wolf
Todd has Dragon
& Chad has Hawk.
There was character development in some recurring Characters. Kurt for example, has a minor Arch as he's the most active member of the Group. He constantly challenges the player. The toughest Race I'm the whole game.
Just look at the Main Antagonist Cars. Eddie's R34 Skyline is still the most Recognisable Cars (apart from MW BMW). Do you even remember what Car Caleb Drove? A fricking Fat Arse Pontiac with an Extremely Bland Livery.

I remember, when I nearly finished the career, but I couldn’t beat Darius, because I was using a Toyota Supra, like the one that was used in the first cutscene, then like 1 year ago I finally got it, and set up a new career (cause why not), and finished it in like 3 days, because I used a corvette for this.
Bro I finished with the supra... Its hard but was rewarding in the end
You can beat Darius with an RX-8. Works on the same rubberbanding rules as Underground 1 where you just downgrade your performance to lower the difficulty.

2:08 idk what it is with that corner but Niki ALWAYS screws that exact corner up for me as well. Find it hilarious how it’s always the team mates on this game that have to most screw ups, it’s like the game creators gave them a dumber AI then the regular AI. Lol 😂 only thing I hate about carbon….. the team mates. 🤦♂️😂

Carbon is the New Vegas of the NFS franchise - it could've been so much better if given more time, but it's still one of the best NFS games ever

An interesting fact: using a Scout for speed trap helps. Just turn off deactivate them and they'll only focus on the track
