I clearly remember when Kate was hospitalized due to her extreme morning sickness but don't recall the Queen visiting but this warms my heart
I remember it. She clearly thought a lot of Catherine (she doesn't like to be referred to as Kate) for her to see her in hospital. The gesture shows how worried she was for her.
@@kanyebreast6072 you have been fooled by these TH-camrs once again. This wasn’t the Queen at the hospital. This was her attending an event and that wasn’t even a hospital. None of those people standing there are doctors or nurses or paramedicals. I think that’s the city hall.
@@kanyebreast6072 I also remember watching the late Queen visit Kate in hospital. I love calling her Kate because for me it's how I got to know her when they first started writing about her in 2002 (or at least, that was the first time that I read about her in connection with William). But if I were a journalist or someone else writing or talking about her in public, I would of course refer to her as Catherine.
@@kanyebreast6072That’s a bit hypocritical of her though. In the interview she and William gave prior to their wedding, they were happy for her to be called Kate, even he was calling her that way. All of a sudden, after marriage, everyone started to call her Catherine as if by some magic she had acquired more dignity overnight. Let us not kid ourselves: she is not a princess by birth, she’s a commoner like any of us and only received the title of princess thanks to an antiquated and frankly sexist rule according to which a married woman assumes the title of her husband. Of course, the reverse wouldn’t be possible because women were / are not deemed to carry enough authority and prestige by themselves to lend it to their husbands. So all this excessive formality seems a bit out of place in her case.
To know, the Queen is alive breaks my heart. Without the Queen, something is missing. Rest in peace dear Queen

Caring for my grandma we often talked about how much easier things would be if you had access to the care the queen does. Daily dressers, hair dressers, money for all the propper equipment, all the professionals tending to your every needs, every doctor in the country wanting to be at your service, drivers, just everything. So whilst money and power isn’t everything, it certainly helps. Especially medically.

Her Father passed away at 56 i think. She has good genes and that is the only reason why I'm afraid. Yes those things help but your body also needs to be built a certain way. Her Mum lived to nearly a 100 whilst her sister died at a young age....
@@ZiloBalo genes are for sure not the only reason. Yes they’re a big factor, but anyone worth their salt will tell you diet, lifestyle and care (one as luxurious as hers) are pretty big factors..
@@ZiloBalo nearly? her mother did live to be 100 101 actually was about to be 102. and her sister didn't die young i would say she was 71 but she was a heavy smoker and drinker her whole live
I'm from the USA and I love the Queen. She comes from an era of manners respect and grace. I hope this is not disrespectful, but she reminds me of my grandmother. She would never leave the house without some lipstick on her hair done , jacket and her purse. God save the Queen, long live the Queen.

I don’t find it disrespectful! I think it was & is just the done thing with that generation. Both my grandmothers were the same. I don’t go out without making myself look presentable & even tidy myself up for when my fiancé comes home from work.

This is wrongly captioned. It's The Queen at Westminster City Hall. The Lord Mayor wouldn't welcome her on a private hospital visit. This definitely isn't the King Edward VII hospital.

They don't with the royals anymore. They used to with Diana but i think thats because she was on first name terms with most of the paps as we all know. There was no respect there with Diana because she colluded with the press too much. But since she died the press are always very careful with the royals.

Can't the queen visit her pregnant grand daughter without having to be hunted down by the media. This is completely disrespectful to her majesty. They don't have automatic doors at the hospital.My daughter worked there for a year.
Staff are often waiting behind the doors to open them as soon as a member of The Royal Family, especially HM The Queen, comes along so they don't have to wait. Staff do it for the Prime Minister at 10 Downing street too

I'm pretty sure she doesn't "protect her castles by violence". She is actually an active member in the political side of things in the U.K.
It's not just royalty, either. People in America fawn over President Obama and the First Lady and they're not royalty...
I think the Queen is an amazing woman who has gone through so much in her life. She's incredibly resilient and strong willed. You have to give her some credit.

The only reason we are mesmerized with it is the insane wealth and lifestyle takes us all places we know we could never be and it’s stimulating and enjoyable to watch. The fact they spread goodwill to charities is what they are and should be remembered for.

They probably do. She and Philip used to drive around sometimes
They are often seen around London and any other places that they live around the country. The Duchess of Cambridge was often seen shopping in Waitrose when she lived in Anglesey, North Wales in the first few years of her marriage, for example.
King Edwards does not have automatic grey doors.The hospital doors are black swing outs.
