- This is a day in a life of the legendery skateboarder Padin Musa from Malaysia . Past winner of xgame in 2004 , this amazing skater had a long carreer with vans and has been competing all around the world .
In this video we go explore his new skatepark in butterworth , visit his house with a backyard miniramp, he talk about him customizing motorbike in his own workshop

I'm from east coast of Malaysia and I'm now 40 years old. I started skate in early 1998 because of Padin. Too bad I already quit skateboarding due to knee injury few years ago. Pa'din Musa is absolutely a Malaysian LEGEND!!!

Former Asian X games champion. Padin is a celebrity in Malaysia. Padin edition Vans shoes sold out in just a few hours, and some were resale online for thousands ringgit. He is a legend, an inspiration for today's youth.
Friendly reminder to not give business to scalpers and resellers. There are people with real passion in skateboarding who would appreciate the shoes much more than a bunch of worms with too much money and still want more than they already have.
@@rrj6919 the problem is most Padin fans now age over 30 and money is not an issue at all. You can highlight this matter but in different chat. People love vintages, collecting rare or memorable item. I'm pretty sure there is a demand, always. Padin loves old vintage Harley which is almost impossible to be found in Malaysia. He's a pro skater so he can buy his dream.

@@darthazua I think you might have misunderstood me. I was talking about resellers of his shoes. People who know nothing about Padin but know that the shoes are in high demand, and they have connections that can help them clean out the shoes before they even hit the shelves, and then resell them at an insane markup.
Because of them, real fans like your and me have no chance to buy his shoes at retail.

Damn .. seeing this man . I felt really old now. Hes like our local heroes. Skate scene in Malaysia was bigger in late 90s and early 2000 . Its the golden underground era.Back then KL full of underground scene , skin heads, grunge , Metal , Hip Hop ,Punk , bikers , and there will be a skater from each group , lots of skateshop still open. Many idolize Rodney Mullen and chad muska . The hype of Tony Hawk and Bob Burnquist in their prime.X games channel on the rise, Zine update from international and local scene. Now KPOP idol took over everything lol.

Long time i didn't see that guys. I started skate in 90s and Pa'din one of my mentor. During that time Padin already superb. After millennium era is his prime time and won many skates competitions.
During his prime, many technical combo tricks he did. Flip into slide or grind with flipping out. Despite he's not as good as his prime era, but at age 48 this year he's still kicking it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Wow! I love seeing the old people skate! I'm 36 years old and just fell down pretty good day before yesterday. I sprained my shoulder a little bit but I'll live. Just like that old guy falling down, he hit the ground pretty hard and got back up and landed that board slide. I fell down embarrassingly hard on flat ground just doing a switch ollie LoL 👍🙏

Honestly I live outside Chicago which is a huge city I would assume compared to Malaysia and that skatepark looks so smooth and so much better than anything I have to skate in Chicago. He did a great service designing that park and it has perfect variety.

Back in the 2000’s skating scene was epic. We even had 2 skate magazines (i think?) & they would showcasing alot of skaters. But Padin & Ipoh Boy will always be at the top of my favourites - i’m glad this solidifies it. Still rebels & fighting for skate - my man ✊🏻
