I’m intrigued to check out the documentary. Like you though I can’t see myself throwing out my collection that I’ve worked very hard to buy but I think it would make me be more mindful of future purchases. Love your vids as always!!!
I finished the documentary and it really makes you wonder about what these products do to our bodies and health now and in the future. Not throwing out my expensive stuff I’ve collected but definitely purchasing clean beauty products only.
Don’t throw your makeup out. There is no evidence that the talc in makeup cause cancer and you can’t get asbestos exposure from using makeup with talc in it. The documentary left out alot, including the fact that last year over 50 makeup items from different brand were independently tested and none of them contained asbestos.
Covergirl's clean line is talc and other bad ingredients free, which I really love! Great video!💖💖💖💖
YES. Just saw this and threw everything away with talc that I had and I'm starting to look at ingredients!
Jas I agree so much!!! Literally everything is bad for us but it seems we pick and choose what to cancel each week lol. They say that about bath and body works too but our high end perfumes are just as bad!
I am doing the same thing - using things up and then being more conscious about what I'm getting next!

Thanks for this video!🙌🏽 I’ve been looking for talc-free options ever since I watched the documentary. Also I’m still a beginner with getting into makeup, so it’s nice to see brands on both ends of the price spectrum have options.
i would 100% recommend doing your own research before throwing anything out. talc is only harmful to you when used in large amounts, near the pelvic area/genitals, or by being inhaled.

Thank you for doing this video. I've never been able to use talc in any foundation (causes acne, among other issues) and recently my eyes have become overly sensitive to talc in eyeshadows too, so I had to go completely talc free a few years ago. Finding good talc free makeup has been hard work and you've made it easy. So I watched the documentary at your recommendation and then I also went hunting for my old/expired makeup per your suggestion... And found an old (mostly unused, thankfully) Claire's glittery eyeshadow palette in the makeup train case at the back of my closet!!!! It must be at least 10 or 15 years old. Looks like the ones from the documentary. Clearly, I was meant to find your channel and this video. Thank you! I've subscribed.... It's the least I can do to repay you!

I love love love this video! I stopped using products containing talc a few years ago when some products from City Color and Claire’s got recalled for talc containing asbestos!
Oh nice! I will be watching that. I’ve been using Pacifica products for such a long time. That’s what all of my girls got last year for Christmas. I made them all a “care” basket with skin care, hair care, and accessories. But a lot of those items were Pacifica. And absolutely with what we use. I read an article a few years ago in one of the more popular magazines about the connection with plastic and infertility. Just in my office alone where I worked almost 50% of the young and older women that worked there were unable to conceive. That’s too many I think.

We are human and no one’s perfect but all we can do is try. I know you went cruelty free along time ago and I know it encouraged me. Idk if I’ll watch the documentary but I’ll definitely be more mindful. ❤️🙏🏼

Health is wealth. Money comes and goes. You only get one life and even if it's a 1% chance talc cause unnecessary damage to woman, why not be proactive.
Talc is the same ingredient Johnson and Johnson used in their baby powder, which was proven to cause cancer. The case is open record and Johnson and Johnson lost the case because it was proven they intentionally lied and the FDA turned a blind eye

Why would you invest in something everyday to risk it on something that can be easily replaced..especially makeup. Why risk all the training and good eating to smear something on your body that can raise your chance of cancer. Cancer which effects not only you but everyone around you. Isn't that worth the sacrifice for 50 bucks worth of makeup???

Omg yess I needed this I love this I knew you was going make vid of talc free products thank you✨💓, me too whenever I’m talking to the audience on TikTok live or just in general whenever I’m talking to someone I take so much time doing my make up then when I do it alone. Exactly I have so much make up products and skin care products I get my nails done now all the time but here in there for events but I feel like that’s how life is and we also didn’t know things about this before. Talc is A lot of eyeshadow pallets mostly I’ve seen morphe and those are like my favorite palette

Love this eyeshadow look! To me there's nothing more beautiful than a gold sparkly lid, and I'm always on the hunt for the sparkliest - even if I have to use highlighter on the lids! A hydrating concealer? Just paused the video to order! Even with eye cream, my concealer sometimes looks dry under the eyes, so I'll take your word for this Saie Concealer! I'm not an advocate for anything in make up (talc, tested on animals, etc) I purchase what I like and what works, and don't get on a soap box to tell people why they should or shouldn't do anything - it's all personal preference, and people should respect other people's opinions/choices.

I love that you use so many of the same affordable products that we all have or want to purchase. You’re always so realistic with how much you spend on makeup and logical, sensible, etc. you’ve always been the same and have never switched up! That’s one of the many reasons why I’ve been a subscriber for years and will continue to support you. I think I’ve been subscribed to your channel since 2016/2017? That’s when I first started to get more serious into make up. Not to get all sentimental lol but my mom passed away in May 2017 and that’s when I started to take makeup, yoga and meditation more seriously. Your channel helped me a lot back then. @@addieme6362 well in the good ol usa most of us already have crippling medical debt and unless you’re watching every single ingredient you ingest into your body or put onto your body there’s always a risk for cancer. The phone you’re using has a risk for cancer
