I love this video concept because this was recently me. 😂😂😂😂 I love colorful makeup and have a penchant for drag, so those multichrome liners and the black lip oil being B1G1 was tempting me, but I can mix things. I love that you always showcase that DIY aspect because legitimately, it is helpful. I want to start mixing and making my own eyeshadows because having a lot of sparkles and then something like Duraline would be helpful! Since I’m kind of on a permanent low buy and more of an RONB as of the next year and have been in the past, it’s so good to see this and be reminded! It was so fun to shop with fantasy you and listen to rational you. xD
Thanks I really appreciate it! especially before all the sales!Me too!I am also experimenting with eyeshadows making, some of those DIY are not successful, nevertheless I plan to share the results later on!Oh Duraline is magic in the bottle!
1:17 Girl, you mention "Prance" and I automatically think of Angelica too, this is so hilarious, she is everywhere! Your fantasy self is so careless and.. innocent 😂😂 I have Ritz but I find it to be an "ok" shade, it has nice sparkles but I have found I don't like supershock shadows, I find them a little bit dry. I only have a SS highlighter and it is the one I love, it is creamy and buttery. I am horrified, 8$ for a single shadow... I mean, it is meant to be affordable makeup but the prices aren't saying the same. When there are no swatches, I do search for some swatches... Usually with different lightings so I can see the colour and see if I am convinced or not. I am more keen to get along with your Rational Self, it is safer 😂 I can send your my Sage the Day palette, I have find that Colourpop eyeshadow formula is not for me, I find it very hit or miss (really towards the "miss" side) and not pigmented enough. You did a fantastic job, something more realistic! From 300$ to 60$, is not that bad at all! I totally loved your idea and your video! 🤍
@@stormofapril thanks, I love your comments so much, they always brighten my day.Yes,I think Angelica is unofficial ambassador of that color.Ok, you are of such great help,I thought of maybe buying it, but now my consciousness is clear!I was surprised that there were no swatches at all!!! I try to stick to my rational self, but sometimes the Fantasy one takes over a lot! I have the Mandalorian palette and That's Taupe. For me both of them are fine, though I have a sneaky suspicion that the Mandalorian does have better quality!
@the-Artup Angelica Nyqvist usually says that Colourpop have multiple eyeshadow formulas: the good, the mediocre and the best. I have the Lizzy McGuire palette and I can tell the quality is better than, for example, Sage the day. I much rather prefer to apend my money in something a little bit more expensive, however knowing that what I am getting is top quality (Jeffree Star, Glamlite, Huda, oden's eye and others)
How do you manage your Rational and your Fantasy selves when it comes to shopping?
