I once read online somewhere that 02 is pretty much had innocent intentions. He wanted nothing more but to create things and put them into existence. He's lonely, & he was hoping that by the things he created, people could love him. However, everything 02 created, turned twisted & evil on him, and started creating carnage & chaos everywhere it went. Then, when the dark matter arrived to Kirby's world, Kirby went on a quest to stop him, & destroy him for just wanting to be loved. Pretty sad, eh?
I wouldn’t give that theory a second thought if you ask me. It sounds like they’re afraid of liking a kids game so they try crafting a deeper meaning behind stuff like this.
@@LenOnTheDoor0000 This kinda ignores all the actual lore Kirby sets up in the other games, though. It definitely has a lot more thought put into it than you're giving it credit for.
I think I finally realize why I like Zero so much. Despite the cheerful, happy Kirby series, he just stands out in a sinister way that keeps his appearance stuck in your mind.
Zero: Bring darkness into everyones heart, for them to feel as I do Giygas: I can't control my power or myself, so all control shall be destroyed Tabuu: Absorb everything into the void, so I can rule over it
I honestly think Nintendo is trying to make us speculate like this, make Zero a villain who can never be truly stopped. If he returns, it will be something big. Very, very, big.
if he returns, I'd expect he would have the powers of all the final bosses who shared his likeness. Drawcia, Malagor, Marx, and so many others. Every bit of dark matter is derived from Zero after all, and it all carries Zero's essence. So Zero could return someday when the dark matter has taken in enough darkness from those it possessed to finally reform Zero.
he is kinda like cthulhu, he cannot be stopped, he will never stop, and is the true villain of almost every game, magolor? you see a familiar eye in his "mouth", dark mind? a mirror world version, dark nebula? a being made of dark matter, and therefore, a servant of 0

It all makes sense now. It all goes back to the lord of the Dark Matter, Zero! Well, aside from the first game. At first, weaken the planets via Dark Matter attacks. Then have Kirby play his part. Destroying the demon Nightmare will enrage his mirror self, Dark Mind. He would then attempt to break free from the Mirror World. And then various other demons, such as Drawcia, who had its wish of freedom granted by Zero, and Dark Nebula. I presume that The Squeaks had an encounter with the Dark Matter, with which they swapped the demon with the cake! I've never played Mass Attack, but I think Necrodeus may be of Dark Matter. Then, Zero would craft two powerful artifacts, the clockwork stars and the parasitic crown, to control Magolor and Marx. (If you 100% Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Magolor tells you that the creator of Landia's crown also made "clockwork stars", which I assume is referring to Galactic Nova, and perhaps many other stars). Marx had part of Zero's power granted to him, as well as perhaps his conscience as well. Magolor was controlled when the Master Crown took him over, which I think from Zero's eye protruding from Magolor Soul's face, as well as the Pause menu description calling him a "sad shell". Just FYI, the name of Zero's Reincarnation is pronounced Zero Squared. Just remember, this is just a theory. Does anybody else want Zero to make an epic return in the nex game? Like Zero Cubed or something.

Zero was lonely and could feel all emotion at the beginning. So when he saw the happy residents of Popstar, he became enraged and attacked them with dark matter. After being defeated by Kirby, he became Zero 2 and he was lonely yet again but he couldn't feel any positive emotion. He decided to attack Popstar once again and this time he attacked Kirby directly. After he died in the second game he couldn't feel any emotion at all. Just a theory.
I remember once reading a comment proposing this. What if Zero-3 was an entity that, unlike the second incarnation, which could only feel negative emotions, came as an entity which could only feel positive ones? The thing to take in mind there would be that still, Zero-3 could be even worse than the other two, as it would be like a child, one ignorant and cruel child who wouldn't understand anything but follow the desire to "feel happy", think about how messed up that could be.
Darkrai: Stop time to shroud the universe in eternal darkness. Count Bleck: Destroy the universe with eternal darkness. Akuro: Shroud the world in eternal darkness. Zant: Shroud the world in eternal twilight and have a psychotic breakdown.
Its just coincidence. I thought the same thing when I was a kid playing this game, I was really into chemistry at a young age and I never played Dream land 3 all the way through and I thought he had something to do with the O2 Molecule somehow. But the final Boss in Dreamland was 0 as in Zero not O. So the return of 0 was naturally called 0-2 to clearly show that this was the same guy you murdered long ago.
In both Ganon and Porkey's cases, that ultimately boils down to Shroud the universe in eternal darkness. Their motives and methods are just different ways of that occurring.
When you're a literal entity of nothing but _PURE EVIL_, you don't feel happiness. Or sadness. Or _ANYTHING_. 02 literally wants to destroy everything & infect everything with his darkness, because that is his _soul_(heh) purpose. He isn't sad. That's just a design concept to make the children playing this game terrified of angels.
Captain Falcon question why dose gooey even live in dreamland 3? he is made by the same stuff as dark matter but he,s not evil and the only being that can make living creaters out of matter is zero so explain that.
Ultimate legend Well gooey isn't in enough stuff to actually explain that, there's practically NO info about him other than the Japanese stuff, & I can't say anything about that.
Captain Falcon well dude than i'm still sticking with the same idea that zero "was not always evil". i mean PURE EVIL creatures wil never create somthing that is friends with a HERO, that is not making any sense. (unless gooey was betraying kirby it would make sence but he din't do that in dreamland 3) and this is pure speculation what i'm saying
Then, they mend their hurt by using the Darkness... Then, they use the Darkness on others to take out their anguish... Then, they fall deeper and deeper into the Darkness, and get consumed by their own evil... Yet still, even the most powerful of Heroes cannot stop this.
Which is why they sought to eliminate Zero. Something no one could ever understand invades the innocence of the world, corrupting it, it drives everyone and everything into madness. Everyone fears that what they could never understand, the world reacts to zero as a monster, it is illustrated in the world of innocence as a destructive force. Though, you can never truly kill something that doesn't exist, instead it will always come back to your heart, more frightening than before.
It reminds me of this Zelda villain. An evil hexing god that was sealed away to prevent his power from being fully awakened. He was a psychotic mad man with the mindset of young child. He found joy in tormenting all life and causing destruction. He saw the world as a mere playground and it's inhabitants as toys only to be casted aside when he finds no interest in them anymore. Why does he do this? Why does he cause so much torment and pain? Because it's fun to him. That was messed up.
Thats true i dont really freak out when i see blood its just a nice touch to a series like kirby (You are one of the more intelligent people on the enternet :P i like that)
destroy, hopes. destroy dreams. destroy every single blasphemy that is the insulting human condition, cause hatred and pain so that these insects might tear one another apart. let blood flow and hearts break, let sorrow paint the land a shade darker than the one inside my own heart. go forth!
Also to note to this argument is that just because Zero shows blood doesn't make it mature either. Kirby games would be just fine for even adults without things like this as well. (Though, I do find the addition of things like Zero in Kirby games interesting. It was pretty smart making him a secret boss in KDL3 since many little kids wouldn't make it to him anyway, and same with K64.)
@bugworrall by all means be that :P just saying it's quite a surprise finding this... THING at the end of a happy game like Kirby. Imagine eating the sweetest candy in the world, and at the bottom of the paper bag that was filled with delicous fruity, sugary, sweet goodness, there was a handgun pointed at your face.
Necrodeus was killed. 02 had one sub boss left: Magolor. Zero sent Magolor to get the crown from Landia. Magolor failed, and landed in Popstar. He befriended Kirby, Meta Knight, King Dedede, and Bandana Dee. After finally getting the crown, he attempted to do what even his master couldn't do: Kill Kirby. Kirby won, and Magolor was killed. Zero currently has no more sub bosses. Even his Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and Dark Mind were killed.
The funny thing about kiby games is that the little bosses are cute and cuddly but the final one is FREAKIN SCARY! (Exception first actuall boss in crystal shards, IT LOOKS POSSESED)
When people say kirby is for kid I say... What game has an angel that bleeds from its one giant red eye What game has a super computer that has gone haywire and wants to destroy everything organic All because a president of a company wanted to see his daughter again when she is his OWN SECRETARY HOW THE FUCK DO PEOPLE THINK KIRBY IS FOR KIDS
Its a pretty freaky ass concept. Every speck, particulate of matter in existence bent to the will of a demented being? And only one tiny hero, indistinguishable from the rest of the entire universe, must face this demented being, deciding the fate of every things existence. One path leads towards a return to better times, another casts its poisonous influence on the universe until the end of time. Its kinda a freaky concept, that's what I'm trying to say.
People need to stop turning a blind eye to the world's problems. An abused child, a bullied student, an orphan who watched their parents get shot in the streets. They need our help NOW. Once they put on a black cape and a mask it's too late.
Dark Samus... Yeah, it kinda does... Dark Samus is Metroid Prime that absorbed the Phazon Suit from Samus, and as such, she needs this substance called Phazon to re-energize itself. It's a substance that can corrupt and kill bioforms, so it's highly dangerous. ...The thing is, Dark Samus corrupts entire planets and aims to do this throughout the whole universe. So it probably follows the same theme aswell, just with a different concept.
im just freaked out that such sa evil entity is even in such a game as kirby, even zelda can't compair with how evil this thing is, Nintendo sometimes you scare me at times.
i dont like to hurt animals. i just found a spider on my bed. so i picked up a random thing scatterde around on my bed. took the spadder a while to get on it but i was having a full conversation with it. got no response though.
Never played the F-zero so can comment on black shadow or deathborn, but Ganon: Control the Triforce, the ultimate power to rule supreme all of Hyrule Porkey: Since I can't die, I will destroy everything... then I will be ALL
These 3 were from different planets, one from the world of Paint, the Alternate Dimension, and Popstar. He later discovered a world of yarn, and found a wizard turned into yarn by the place. 1 of his sub bosses were dead already. He replaced the now dead Marx with Yinyarn, giving him powers no one else in the yarn would had. Later, Paint Sorceress was killed by the one who bested Zero twice, and killed Marx: Kirby. Desperate, he brought in the demon Necrodeus. and sent him to kill Kirby.
Touche... I have a confession to make... I never actually played a Kirby game past the first four levels, and i never played Call of Duty... I'd love to play both... I'm very open-minded about things though... I can usually see the upside to nearly every game I even hear about, so... :P
I didn't say absolutely all of them are bad; I will hand it to games and franchises like MGS for going outside the norm, but I've still found that most M-rated games still fail to meet a lot of standards when compared to other games.
Good sir, I feel like I have seen others do stuff like this: Mario-kun Kirby-kun I feel like I know you from somewhere... You remind me of someone from DeviantART.
Almost all of Nintendo's settings are meant to be some sort of twisted paradise, so I don't think that's it, but I think you're getting close. Look at Nightmare Moon from FiM. She is jealous that paradise ignores her. She wants to destroy paradise because in a world of good, love and light, she was left to mope in the darkness. Tormented by rage and jealousy; but nobody notices or cares until it's too late. It's just the same tragic tale, over and over again.
I once read online somewhere that 02 is pretty much had innocent intentions. He wanted nothing more but to create things and put them into existence. We were once living peacefully
But our future has changed completely
As the sky darkens
Becoming darker than the night...
What could be the cause of all this?
Twisting their minds
Twisting their souls
Now everyone is corrupted
Their behavior now destructive
I must search for those crystal shards
Even if the task maybe hard
I'll make sure that you will all see
As I set our planets free
With the crystals powers that
were once completely scattered
It will be the very key to
destroying each and every dark matter
Destiny calls for you
To fly forward Star Warrior
Find the inner strength within you
And bring peace from all the torture
Let the stars guide you through
So Stop this never ending war
Or there might be a chance our
Universe will be
No More...
Please Go...
Restore...
Our World...
Angels of Darkness take flight
And I'm the only one left to fight
Our worlds are falling
As they're engulfed in the shadows
Their cries are fading from darkness
Drowning in it
Consumed by it
There is no more time to be scared
The pain ends now, I am prepared
I'll go forward with all my might
To make sure you're out of our sight
I'll make sure our hopes aren't shattered
And pierce the evils you've gathered
Even if I'm devoured in
this darkness that you've become
Just as long as there's an inch
of light in me I will overcome
Do not fail now
The time is now
To destroy the evil
This is the only chance you have
Everything is up to you now
Use the power Inside you
And bring peace once and for all
Or our future will be no more
Go now and fight star warrior!
So stop this war
Protect our world!

02 is just so awesome, and he has many forms/minions:
0
02
Dark Matter
Dark Matter Knight
Miracle Matter
Too awesome!
Thats true i dont really freak out when i see blood its just a nice touch to a series like kirby (You are one of the more intelligent people on the enternet :P i like that)
destroy, hopes.
destroy dreams.
destroy every single blasphemy that is the insulting human condition, cause hatred and pain so that these insects might tear one another apart.
let blood flow and hearts break, let sorrow paint the land a shade darker than the one inside my own heart.
go forth!
This song Makes me think of a battle between to honorable warriors.
You are never scared until you know its there.
this is why i have to be alone.... but i dont have to be alone.....if everyone suffers..... i wont be the only one!! * Zero two the fallen demon angel
This is what Cultists of 0² would congregate to if they existed.
its called surround sound. Its an amazing innovation yes
BECAUSE ON THE INTERNET, MAGIC HAPPENS.
kun is a add on or something like that used after names in japan.
everyone knows that.
like in anime or manga
I'm crying tears of blood
Shall we... Act, Fellow Brother?
The song of a dying star.
That image of Zero-kun, I need it! Consider putting a link up? 。◕ ‿ ◕。
Understood, fellow brother... Awaiting orders...
@Blackstar695 I have an 02 church just around the corner from my house, they keep saying something about 2012 O.O
Even his Master Hand, Crazy Hand, and Dark Mind were killed.
it must be hard to bear the sins of the world alone
Cyrus (?): Make a world where he is a ruler and defines perfection
The funny thing about kiby games is that the little bosses are cute and cuddly but the final one is FREAKIN SCARY! (Exception first actuall boss in crystal shards, IT LOOKS POSSESED)
This is why I have to be alone.. but I won't be alone.. If everyone suffers with me, I won't be the Only One...
When people say kirby is for kid
I say...
What game has an angel that bleeds from its one giant red eye
What game has a super computer that has gone haywire and wants to destroy everything organic
All because a president of a company wanted to see his daughter again when she is his OWN SECRETARY
HOW THE FUCK DO PEOPLE THINK KIRBY IS FOR KIDS
Its a pretty freaky ass concept. Every speck, particulate of matter in existence bent to the will of a demented being?
And only one tiny hero, indistinguishable from the rest of the entire universe, must face this demented being, deciding the fate of every things existence. One path leads towards a return to better times, another casts its poisonous influence on the universe until the end of time.
Its kinda a freaky concept, that's what I'm trying to say.
wow such music
go forth and destroy mortal.
People need to stop turning a blind eye to the world's problems. An abused child, a bullied student, an orphan who watched their parents get shot in the streets. They need our help NOW. Once they put on a black cape and a mask it's too late.
He's talking about the Darkrai from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, and he's pretty accurate there.
I just notice 02 is oxygen...So now he is in the air
HOLY SHIT, IF YOU WEAR HEADPHONES THE BEGINNING SOUNDS LIKE ITS SPINNING AROUND YOU HEAD.
All I can remember of him right now is that person made his own character that is a pokemon - A trapinch, I think. :L
Never played the F-zero so can comment on black shadow or deathborn, but
Ganon: Control the Triforce, the ultimate power to rule supreme all of Hyrule
Porkey: Since I can't die, I will destroy everything... then I will be ALL
THAT CAN BE A NEW KIRBY GAME yea I just said that 02 comes back more frightening then before
Ponies. Nightmare Moon is basically Darth Vader meets angry teenager meets Dominatrix.
Desperate, he brought in the demon Necrodeus. and sent him to kill Kirby.
im so scared...HELP ME! *hides*
im kinda tripped out
@ERROR51099 Actually the form of him when he wields the sword is called Sword Matter.
Just sayin' ;)
Touche... I have a confession to make... I never actually played a Kirby game past the first four levels, and i never played Call of Duty... I'd love to play both... I'm very open-minded about things though... I can usually see the upside to nearly every game I even hear about, so... :P
02's name is supposed to resemble oxygen. I wonder how that's relevant somehow...
I'm a moon. I can confirm your argument.
I didn't say absolutely all of them are bad; I will hand it to games and franchises like MGS for going outside the norm, but I've still found that most M-rated games still fail to meet a lot of standards when compared to other games.
Good sir, I feel like I have seen others do stuff like this:
Mario-kun
Kirby-kun
I feel like I know you from somewhere...
Jesus christ this thing is terrifying.
