I crossed the Turkey-Georgia border from Aktas border gate. I tried to record most of the things on camera and have shared crucial information on topics like - Aktas border opening & closing time, Georgia immigration, How to get Georgia visa for Indians considering the high deportation rate of Indians, Georgian currency Lari exchange, etc. After travelling quite a few countries including the USA & Canada, till now this was the most difficult immigration process for me. Watch this video and do not repeat the mistakes I did while immigration and improve your chances of getting an entry in Georgia as a tourist.

Ur living the best time of ur life man. Hitchhiking in valleys, mountains, grasslands & all alone. Some time it may be tough but that adventurous feeling is just makes it worth.
Varun if you come back to Turkey. We have many morIe places you can visit. The Beaches in Western Turkey especially. (Izmir, Side, Bodrum, Antalya, Alanya, Marmaris, Fethiye, Büyükada, Konya, Mardin, Van, Bolu, Ankara, Northern Cyprus and many more places.
I will hopefully visit turkey someday🐥

My friend's cousin who was on a cycling trip from Iran to Russia to watch the world cup was turned back at the Azerbaijan-Georgia border. Some Germans who were on bicycle were let to enter but he wasn't because of his Indian passport. He went back to Azerbaijan and crossed to Russia through Azerbaijan-Russia border.

US is not as difficult to hitchhike as you think. You just have to approach with a smile, confidence and opening line of conversation has to be right. I have seen his US hitchhike video. His opening line was,"can I ask you something?" People get alarmed when you say that. It implies you're seeking some favour or money. Cut to the chase straight. "Can I get a ride to Dallas?" would have helped immensely. Don't even ask where the trucker is headed to. Let him point out that he's headed in a different direction. As for Georgia , I don't think they're bad people. You can't call someone bad if he doesn't give you a ride. How many people do we give ride to on our roads? Let's try that on Indian roads.
Bad experience are meant in our lives ...so that we can cherish the good moments at the best....and good moments have such strong positivity that they just let you forget the bad....so koi nhi hota hai kabhi kabhi...
But lag raha tha jaise ....you are the only person there....I hardly spotted any one walking on the road besides you...but hoping with such not so good experience in start to a country....upcoming vlogs will be good as usual.

Well, even if there's border, we Turks and Georgians can pass to eachothers' country even without passport.

Kardina bevakufoo wali baat. India-Bhutan Tension free Border(Indians ke liye visa free hai aur vice versa), India-Nepal Tension free Border. Apne desh mey itne gadhe bhare hai jo kuch likes keliye kuch bhi bina soche, bina logic lagaye comment post kardete hain.
Not to mention, turkey(Just like India) does have tensions with neighboring countries- Syria, Armenia & Iraq. So, its pretty much the same but way more violent in case of Turkey.
Now nothing against the turkish people(In vlogs they seem super nice) but you might wanna look up armenian genocide, the reason why Turkish-Armenian Relationship is non Existent.

Hey , I had exactly same experience like you when I visited Georgia. I had an e visa but faced lot of troubles for entering the country. Some of the people were sent back. However, I met few Indians in Georgia who told me lot of immigrants for whom Schengen visa gets denied come to Georgia on e-visa and then try to get visa to Europe or enter it through some agents. Hence lot of skepticism. Once I entered the country , i found none of the ATM's would accept Indian Debit/Credit Cards. So was left at mercy of online transaction and Card transactions. However, the country was very beautiful and the people were very nice. Will love to visit it again

Many Punjabi farmers sold their land in Punjab and used to buy land in Georgia till last 10yrs. (Now I guess they cannot buy land). When a lot of them became successful farmers it created a lot of friction between the them and the local guys due to their unemployment and unwilling to do hard work. The male Georgians are not as hardworking as Indian farmers. That's why Indians are having problem in Georgia. Many Indian students go there to do MBBS ( to become doctor) which is relatively cheaper there. The customs were probably more suspicious about you because you didn't have a car belonging to neighbouring country and walked through. So they might have thought that you did not plan to go back.
