Remember being diagnosed with autism is not bad. It’s actually a way for you to understand your child better and help them and you to be better equipped in life later on.
That’s why early intervention is very important! You’re trying to prevent your current frustrations to translating into his and others frustration in the future. Sa ngayon kasi nasa bahay lang siya, nandiyan kayo parati. Hindi lahat ng makaka interact niya sa buhay sa labas ng bahay maiintindihan siya. For example, not understanding emotions and social cues, tinatawanan ka niya pag galit ka, it can translate to galit ang teacher tapos tatawanan niya matawag pa siyang bastos, Pero hindi naman kasi he just doesn’t know appropriate reaction.
I have been a special education teacher for 10 years. Marami ako na encounter na bata kagaya ng anak mo .Nakikita ko sa anak mo delayed speech lang po sya kaya dapat i expose mo sya sa maraming bata. I punta mo sya sa nursery school kahit saling pusa lang at hwag mo hayaan mas marami sya time sa gadget at panonood ng tv. Hindi po yan sign ng autism.❤❤❤

Like I said before, my son was late mag salita. Took him to have his hearing test (audio test) doctor said he’s fine. Now he is a lawyer. Give your son time. He will speaks soon.

Ganyan den anak ko na babae nakakapag salita kaso hindi maintendihan kasi halo halo naririnig na salita ilocano tagalog English tas manood ng youtube ibang lingwahe 😂 pero nagderetso lang no 4 na siya na pumasok sa school

Just so you know you’re a great mom, jessa! You are doing a great job. I have a son who started talking at the age of 3.5. My Filipino friends ( not anymore) here abroad said oh your son is autistic you should go to a doctor and ask for help. 😢 They judged my son specially me as a parent.
Now, my son is 6 years old 1st grade. Top 1 in the class the leader of the class. He loves to read. He’s attending advance and gifted school. I’m so proud of my son, Nathan.

Kailangan mo lang alagaan at kailanga turuan mo siyang mag basa at tutukan mo talaga habang bata pa kailanga meron siya doctor na titingin sakanya at mag bibigay din sa iyo ng advice kasi anak ko rin ganyan 3yrs old meron siya doctor at ngayon malaki nasiya parati ko siyang guide nag iimprove naman nakakatuwa go lang kaya mo iyan.

So glad u took action. It could be very exhausting to find real answers lalo na a lot of people downplay his behavior like the comments from here. Just stay strong for him, he needs your full support.
Autism isn't bad, there are different levels of spectrum and others can still function like normal people. It's important na ma asess c Liam while bata pa so that if fate confirms he will learn how to live with it in a way that it is comfortable for him and you as parents.
Dapat may exposure sa mga bata. Communication is important.
Talk to Liam often and ask him to follow up saying words. Let him repeat the words after you. And Jessa use only one language so that Liam will not be confused
Noong 3 yrs old ang anak ko pinasok ko na siya sa school Nursery then kinder after kinder nag Prep siya then tuloy tuloy na, laking tulong din kung i enroll mo si Liam sa school

Dito sa manila mo ipatingin si liam sa mga expert sa malalaking hospital..lapit ka sa information section ng hospital pra mai refer ka sa tamang doktor kung first time patient or online appointment madaming puedeng paraan at madaming magagaling tayong doktor jessa medyo mahabang session yan at medyo magastos pero atleast malilinawan ka once and for all kung ano tlga status anak mo pra malaman nyo kung ano ang mga dpat niyong gawin hindi yung hinuhulaan nyo ang hinaharap kung puede nman agapan. Cguro nman kaya nyo budgetan doctor dto sa manila since nakakapagtravel nga kayo..goodluck and God bless your family❤
yes there are many specialists in manila who could easily detect your sons condition. you may also consult the google regarding signs and symptoms of autism in children then observe your child's behavior if it matches with the given signs then thats it. Autism nowadays can be easily detected just put aside denial so you can get the best result and the next step to do. You are also right in giving liam quality time to teach and train him.

He needs more conversation, attention, and interaction not gadgets tv and the like. Always talk to him telling and explaining what you are doing while you are doing it. Don't shortcut anything. Make everything fun and like a game. We see tons of Pinoy kids whether half or not that are exactly like Liam and our son is by far not like this because we always talk to him play music explain everything. Talk constantly tell him about things and teach him. It's very and as a parent a must. What you put into your child you get out.
Jes,pwede na yan si Liam ipasok sa nursery ilang oras lang naman. Anak ko at 3 kunti pa lang salita alam, at pinasok ko sa nursery kasi wla syang kalaro dito sa bahay na ibang bata, kami lang dalawa. Ngayon mag 5 na sya di parin straight magsalita pro ang daldal na nya, dami kasi lengwahe narinig nya, pag sa school, arabic 2nd language na ang english, dito sa bahay english-arabic-bisaya-tagalog, pag manood sya ng youtube na cartoons paborito nya thailand at japanese at ayun minsan may mga salita sya na di ko naintindihan.Kailangan lang talaga may ibang makakausap ang bata ung mga kalaro at sa case ng anak ko sa school lang talaga ksi wla nman kami kapitbahay na bata,kaya malaking tulong talaga na pinasok ko sya sa school.

Walang masama kung ma diagnose ang mo ng autism Jessa the diagnosis will help you and your husband on How to help him to get better. Early intervention can help him to talk and interact with other children’s . If some people write a comment here that their kids don’t talk until 3 or 4 then that’s their kids not yours. Every child is different but as lism prognosis he needs a speech therapy and more testing dapat noong pumunta kayong Norway pina check up nio yan noon since it’s a free healthcare at magagaling ang Doctor spelist doon complete sila sa mga medical equipmentz,

Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy is a big help..maybe the devped told you to enroll him in therapy centers and after 3-6 monthe you will go back to the DevPed to assess again for developments in his behavior.
And I hope you’re gonna do the right things to do for Liam , read books every night before he sleeps and train him good things, teach him to count and teach him how to read and give him healthy foods , avoid soda because it’s bad for him too, he’s still very young to drink those, train him to drink juices and water
Same kaayo symptoms sa akong son Jes dayon diagnosed sya with autism. Karon ga early intervention na sya plus Occupational Therapy. Pangita mo dha basin ma enroll nimo c Liam para Early Intervention para maka sugod na sya. A little goes a long way. Laban lang. 🤍
Ganyan don anak ko late mgsalita apat language namin ,Arabic ,warai,English and tag alog ,ginwa ko sis umuwi Ako sa tacloban now finally completely speaking warai forgot 3 languages.

Kung babalikan mo iyong mga blog mo dati may mga nagcomment sa iyo noon na mga viewer mo tungkol sa kalagayan ng anak mo pero hindi mo inintindi sa halip parang minasama mo pa..marami akong nababasa sa comment section noong nanonood ako sa iyo noon pero tumigil ako kasi parang tingin ko parang ayaw mo na pinapayuhan ka tungkol sa kalagayan ng anak mo.at ngayon napapansin mo na ang situwasyon ng anak mo.sana maagapan pa iyan hanggat bata pa.pokus ka muna sa anak mo at lagi mo syang kakausapin.at sana rin wag mong masamain ang nagpapayo sa iyo.

I think because he is hearing two languages. Ganyan ang BUNSO ko although although she tried to communicate with us before Pero Wala naman nabubuong words siguro dahil naririnig niya ako nagtatagalog, Bicol then English, it changed when she started preschool, and pinapanood ko lang ng mga educational show Wala din tablet. Now, she can communicate with us very well.
More interaction and speech therapy pls it will help bcoz he has delayed speech ,bcz ganyan alga ko .spend more time for him

So I would say he responds everything that you're telling him. Just keep talking to him in a full sentence all the time. Maybe you can read a book to him every day. My grandson is almost 3yrs old when he talked properly or make a sentences so i think covid time baby is had a litlle bit problem to talked just keep him play with u guyz or some kids and it will be okey
My gchild is like him, hewas 3 when he was assessed. Part of the theraphy, an hour of one on one with the teacher / therapist and it worked even after the first session, he can talk in sentences now...we are from Davao...

Jes pa watch mo siya nang mga interactive video, tapos videos ni Ms. Rachel. Wag muna siya sa 3d video. Tapos pag makig conversation ka sa kanya make sure nga nag EYE TO EYE CONTACT mo duha. Imo jud siya i train nga mo lantaw sa imoha. Mas dali tudloan ang bata basta mo lantaw sa imo habang ga explain ka sa iyaha ug ma correct pa nimo ang behavior niya nga murag wala ga paminaw sa inyo. Wag lang kayo ma pressure sa ibang tao na maraming sinasabi patungkol sa anak niya ang importante ginawa ninyo ang part ninyo as parents sa bata. And also try to use 1 Language muna kasi on process pa ang kanyang learning sa pag talk. Kadalasan mga bata hindi maka pag salita kasi nagulohan sila sa mga Language na gamit natin araw² tapos iba naman ang Language sa pinapanuod niya sa Tv. Yan kasi ang na experienced ko sa panganay kung anak, nung sa pinas pa kami may natutunan na siya na words, pero nung pumonta na kami dito sa Australia na wala un lahat kasi English na dito tapos kami nang husband ko bisaya kami tapos sa Tv pag nanunuod siya English. Naging problema din namin yun kasi nahirapan mag salita ang anak namin, kaya nag decide kami na 1 lang muna na Language ang gamitin namin pag kausap siya. Dahil doon nakapag salita na siya.❤❤

I have a pamangkin autistic since born and he is 21 yes old now but his age is still a kid, maybe below 7, he go to.skol special skills for autism, do some behavioral activities and he is now learning read, speak but not straight, ,
I think Liam has autism but curable, he is hyper and adhd behavior, so OK lang yan

Some of the signs of Autism are lining objects, hand leading, speech delay, not recognizing his/her name. Sana mag tuloy tuloy ang assessment nyo Jessa, focus kayo kay Liam habang bata pa.
Yup..Spectrum are different in very child's but those are red flags not responding to hus name,food textures,not sensing danger,line the toys sometime tip toeing nails,delayed speech
He doesn't wants to play with kids bcuz they're Ratner play alone or they don't know to socialize
Pagpalit ug children books and read it to him like ABC books .
Just be patient with him.And make a constant communication with the boy. He needs attention.Last thing, tone down your high pitch. This will make him feel better.

The doctor will give the final result after the second appointment. They will do another set of assessment were they play with your son to determine if he is in the spectrum or not. You mention a thing that your son does when he plays and that is one of the sign.
The question is, did they really have him assessed???

I think one reason is.... He heard two different languages... One of my friends daughter is also like that because they teach English but she often heard hilgaynon so she gets confused..
Yes, I agree with you ,with listening two languages. if your son is playing a toys and he arranged straight, drooling, that's a sign of autism.,or maybe he has ADHD ,means,hyperactivity-impulsivity .don't give sweets too much.
Yong anak ko 4 years old cya nuon hindi din makapag Salita nang straight. But guess what? She is in high school now junior high all in advance class and AP class, and she will be going in dual enrollment by next year, a high school and college. May mga bata talaga n delayed ang speech nila. As in normal talaga yong anak ko. And I've never compared my kid to others. Iba2x ang mga bata. Ang kaibahan lang namin ni jessa ay influencer cya maraming ngmamarunong s social media.

My nephew was diagnosed with mild autism. He was talking at a super early age. He was reading when I saw him again during my mom's wake and he was only 2 years old then. He knows all the brand names of the electric fans. At first I doubted he knew how to read but seeing him personally I was impressed. That time he does not look at my eyes when I talk to him. He had some sessions with a therapist. That time it was 200 for an hour. When a child is delayed in his speech it does not mean the child is autistic. My son also had delayed speech. His brain waves was even tested while he was sleeping. Nothing was wrong with my son. He told me he is just lazy to speak. We were two only in the house so speaking made him lazy but he is a smart kid. He knows what is going on around him. When he was schooling already his favorite tv program is the news.

Para talangang my Mild Autism si Liam. But it doesn't make him less. Mas okay if ma check talaga para malaman kung saan mag aadjust ang parents.
Jessa pag 4yrs old na si Liam. Enroll mo na sya sa Nursery. Turuan mo na rin ngayon mag sulat sulat. At yong 1-10 at alphabet ay recognized na rin dapat ni Liam. Mag start ka na ngayon. Kaya mo nman yan turuan si Liam. Bili ka ng mga blocks na mga numbers at alphabet. Then gawin mong exciting ang pag tuturo.

If busy sya sa nilalaro niya kunin mo muna at sabihin mo na ibabalik mo lang sa kanya kung kukunin o gagawin niya muna yong inuutos o pinapagawa mo sa kanya. Sa ganun matoto sya sa mga simpleng instruction at para may focus na rin sya. 3-5yrs old napansin ko mabilis ang pagkatoto ng isang bata kung matutukan natin sila. Apat kc anak ko kaya napansin ko 3yrs old ay ang tamang start ng pagkatoto ng bata. Walang paluan, walang pilitan. If tinuturuan mo sya sa colors unti unti lng halimbawa red at blue muna. Araw arawin mo lang hanggang maperfect niya yong 8 colors. Pagsulat nman bilog at lines muna dapat. Mahaba at maiksing line. Malaking bilog at maliit na bilog . Sa maliit bilog at line makakabuo ka ng small a. At sa line nman makakabuo ka ng big A....Salamat Jessa at na pansin mo comments ko.
I don’t think he has autism also. He has eye contact and seems to be communicating in a non-verbal way. (Pero pag tagalog nalang Jessa, kay sakit sa tiyan imong english).
