Giving up 16 minutes of life to see a video about maternity wear, even if you´re no where near being pregnant. not even close. That´s devotion! Congrats Fleur & Mike! Thank you for sharing your precious moments with the world
I remember it like it was yesterday when I was still in school, watching your study tips videos and now I'm watching your maternity hauls. Life is crazy
I am 32 weeks pregnant. From the research and recommendations we received from parents, we chose the following big ticket items: - Baby Jogger Mini GT stroller, bassinet, converted for car seat and all the accessories that come with it. It has amazing reviews. Plus, I drive a small sports car so it is easy to get in and out of the trunk since it has a one handed folding system. This is something to think about since you have a mini cooper. A larger stroller will be hard to take in and out. -Maclaren triump stroller for travel -Beaba food maker -Britax BSafe britax carseat and Bsafe convertible carseat. - 4moms mamaroo - Halo bassinet -Ergo carrier -Skip hop backpack. Decided on a backpack so my husband could wear it too -Get a body pillow now! You will use it your entire pregnancy. Mike might even end up stealing it from time to time. -For the nursery, we chose all pottery barn kids items -Owlet smart sock 2 Would love to know some of the items you end up choosing as you go along through the process.
I'm not pregnant or a mum, not even remotely close (just entered my twenties, I say not for another 8-10years) but I've been watching Fleur a few years now and absolutely adore Fleur and in turn, Mike. Such a great couple: together ten years and married a while, so supportive and loving of each other but maintaining top banter and not gross with the PDA. Dedicated themselves to their flourishing careers and earned success, and now they're having a baby when both are content and ready! Goals is such an overused term but seriously #goals. So happy for them. Will watch baby content despite lack of personal relevance just because I'm so thrilled for them and feel (maybe foolishly) part of the journey like one would a friend ❤️😬

if you can, get a boppy pillow... even if you don't breastfeed it's so great to have to hand... I had an emergency c-section and it is great for when you are a bit sore and trying to hold your baby, it gives you that extra support to lay your arms on while supporting your baby. x congrats fleur on your lovely news.
+Anne Donlon thanks so much for the recommendation! Definitely going to try and breastfeed, although my family history for it isn't great... we shall see! :) xxx
Fleur DeForce I didn't end up breastfeeding, as it didn't really work out for me either... do what feels right for you at the time and don't be too hard on yourself. Enjoy this hugely special time x
Couldn't have clicked on this video any faster if i tried! You're one of the few youtubers i've been watching and stayed with from the start and I'm so happy for you. You and mike are going to amazing parents, congratulations!
My friend who just had a baby swears by Bonds Wondersuits - they have zips and are much less fiddly than button down suits. Lovely to see you so happy and glowy Fleur!
Congratulations Fleur and Mike. So happy for you both, I've been watching since 2009. I had my first baby last year and the item I recommended the most is a bit random; a dimable lamp for nursing at night. At the start you want to see what you're doing but you don't want to turn all the lights on to properly wake you up. And I had a summer baby so I remember being up as the sun was coming at 4:30 am. I got a cheap reading one off amazon that only needs charging like once a week or longer. As for the bigger stuff I was so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of baby products out there that I spent a lot of time researching things you actually need as I was in a one bed flat at the time. I'd recommend: - a bed side crib (snuz pod) - sleepyhead (basically a really expensive pillow which helps them feel more enclosed in the big crib. Also very portable to move around the house for day naps and great for travelling and staying in hotels!) -Bugaboo pushchairs with a maxi cosi group 0 car seat which attaches to the buggy frame. Means you don't have to get them out off the car seat when they're asleep and again great for travelling. -Aden & Anasis swaddle blankets are amazing quality, wash really well and double up as nursing covers Looking forward to watching the rest of your pregnancy journey! X
the Chicco next to me cot was a life saver for me when I had my baby last year - it's a great size, and if your baby has reflux it inclines to help them sleep better. It's definitely worth the money xx
I'm due in October and have been buying maternity things from Asos and new look. I found H&M to be quite bad quality. Tip: if you go to a mothercare baby event you get a 10% off voucher to spend on anything in store including on top of sales items 😊 also just to let you know there is a chemical in Piz Buin sun cream you are not meant to use when pregnant, that was go to suncream too but have had to swap to Garnier. Enjoy your holiday 😊 super excited for you!
Congratulations! I'm due in a week, i started off wearing maternity jeans at like 4 months, and carried on until 7 and a half months. Since then Ive had to wear joggers as I found the baby would move around like mad trying to get comfortable when I had the elastic around my tummy and I felt bad. I also ended up just going into primark and buying large tops for around this time.
thank you for being honest with your confidence when it comes to swim suits etc, love seeing more women be honest with how their confidence has changed :) congratulations on baby, so excited for you and mike!
So happy for you. I can't speak to any of the pregnancy things, I couldn't have babies. We have adopted 3 at different ages. 11months, 6 months, and newborn. Honestly I didn't buy a lot of clothes, unless we were going out they were in Jammie's like you purchased. I personally think they are more comfortable that way. With the first I did the infant seat and a then a convertible one. With the other 2 I just did one that went from birth to 110 pounds. I used a baby Bjorn to take them in stores and restaurants. It keeps people from touching them. Total stranger will come up and touch babies. The stroller I used went from bassinet to regular when they were older. I purchased a lot of things I didn't need for the 1st and less and less with the others because you know what works and you need and what you don't. Invest in a good swing. The one by 4 moms is amazing.
Your comment is to true spend far to much on your 1st learn for your 2nd that you don't need half as much!! Can I just add Ammie you sound an amazing woman!
Top recommendations for baby: Bugaboo Cameleon we love ours, we take it down gravel tracks without any issues. Bugaboo Buffalo is even more Rugged for rough terrain but still extremely nibble . We paired our pram with the maxi cosi pebble capsule which is compatible and clicks straight on for quick transitions. It clicks in and out of the isofix base and makes puting them in and out of the car easy and non disruptive. We used the a Moses basket with our first and it took our daughter a while to adjust. For the next baby we have got a Halo bassinest at present my cousin has it and loves it. All the best Fleur enjoy yourself
My brother has twins who are now 6 months, one of the things I know they can't live without now is a sleepyhead. Think they sell them on johnlewis, they are quite expensive but worth it especially if you will be travelling around different houses/places!
Diana Williams I got a cocoonababy - same sort of thing - and my newborn loved it. You can even get them for toddlers I think?! I'll be getting one of those for sure!
Yeah they love them so much they are actually buying the bigger version now the babies are bigger. They have a good resale price apparently which is a bonus! Congratulations on your pregnancy :)
Katie Seymour we had a purflo nest. Less than £50 and the same thing just not the next 'trendy' baby product. Good luck with your pregnancy and mamahood x
A Boppy Pillow is a MUST in our house. Our little one was born preemie in May and we have been able to use it since we brought him home and will continue to use it. It is so versatile and great to have in any room. There are a couple different types but we are just using the original Boppy pillow. LOVE IT! Congratulations!
Hey Fleur, cant believe I'm so excited for a stranger to have a baby! Two of my sister in laws had babies recently and got the Doona car seat. It turns into a stroller, so you don't have to take baby out of the car seat, it makes it sooo convenient when taking baby in and out of the car. I wish it would have been on the market when I had my babies. I would definitely recommend looking into it.
The Doona carseat/buggy is incredible! Such a lifesaver. It's a carseat that has wheels attached and folds down onto them- saves so much time and space.
I just had my baby exactly a month ago. You made some great purchases on your maternity wear. I didn't buy a whole lot of maternity tops even up till the end. I lived in maternity shorts but I had a summer baby. My biggest tip for you is when you do start buying tops, look for ones that double as nursing tops (if you are planning on breastfeeding). Your boobs will thank you for it later. My biggest maternity splurge was my Kate Spade diaper bag. It's something you carry EVERYWHERE and I get excited to use it.
HauteBeautyGirl agrees on the Kate Spade bag. I splurged on one to and I don't regret it one tiny bit!! I use it every day (and have for the past 18 months!) and it is in a near perfect condition! Washes well, cleans well and carries a ton of stuff!! X
OMG! Congratulations!! I can't imagine how much of a change this year has been for you. I was just thinking about when I met you last year trying to find out seats during NYFW, and hoped I might see you again this year. But oh my goodness, you have so many blessings already in your life. Wishing you the very best and brightest for you and the baby! PS the Joni jeans at TOPSHOP are my favorite. Never knew they came in maternity wear. XOXO, Ellese
So exciting! Speaking from experience, it may be a possibility that you will develop a buggy obsession! I know I did, researching reviews, staring at mothers pushing them in the street, going into shops to look at the various options. I ended up dreaming about them, but it was a lovely time!
Congratulations Fleur & Mike, this is such exciting news. Having watched your channel for years, (it literally got me through my final year of high school) it's so wonderful to watch your family grow. I hope you have a smooth and safe pregnancy!! So excited for BabyDeForce!1 Love from Australia xx
I am 21 weeks and I wore high waisted jeans but find early on they didn't fit. H&M clothes I was so disappointed in. I actually found that after ordering from everywhere- that Asda maternity clothes did the best clothes. So cheap and great for shorts, swimming costumes, the black maxi dress they do is literally the best xx
I absolutely loved my Chicco infant carrier & I also had a MyRide 65 by Graco. The Graco was rear & forward facing from 5 to 65 lbs. It was so nice for when it's time to face forward because there's a slight incline that is great for if they fall asleep so that their head doesn't fall forward. My daughter got too tall for it & we had to switch. The Chicco is amazing because the latch system is so easy. It hooks in & is released by a button like a car seatbelt. You don't have to fumble with it under the seat & it can be adjusted easily for different car levels.
Hey Fleur! I'd love to hear your thoughts on motherhood and coming to terms with it! This will be a huge change for you and your life, and I'd love to hear your inner thoughts about it. Much love from Canada ❤️
Fleur I've been watching you since I was 12 and you used to make videos on the floor of your spare bedroom before you even graduated! I'm turning 19 this week and I honestly feel like I've grown up with you. You and Mike are so lovely together and I'm so excited to watch you both become parents. Congratulations, we're all so happy for you xx
Ali I actually have some of those jeans, wich i wear when im bloated. (I dont have kids yet) and i freaking love it, soooo comfy. like when you have cramps, and lie on the couch with a heating blanket, but on the go, 😍 you should get some!
The pregnancy glow looks so good on you, you are just shining and are all smiles. I am so happy for you, Fleur! I've seen so many youtube babies so far, can't wait to see baby DeForce. kisses
Congratulations Fleur and Mike! I am 22 weeks pregnant and started making videos about it at 12 weeks. Feels so good to be past that mark and able to share with the world. Long time subscriber and excited to watch your pregnancy journey!
I just love #babydeforce :D and buying a special outfit for the first coming home is such a great idea even if it's a more expensive one because your future children will use it too and when they'll grow up you will look back at it and have such a special memory.
I cannot get over how excited I am for you and Mike!! I cried and cried watching your announcement video! Congratulations! You're both going to wonderful parents and little BabyDeForce is going to be so loved across the world!! Sending lots of love and positivity from Canada!!! 😃❤️🎉🍼
So exciting shopping for your baby!! Xx I definitely recommend investing in pieces that will "grow with you" because you will use it throughout your pregnancy and after you give birth. The jeans are a perfect example of am investment piece because you will use it after you give birth! Cannot wait to see all the baby hauls in the future!
What I found as "you must have this" is baby towels-washcloths or what you call flannels-lots of the soft baby ones. Great for wiping up messes, also, a box or two of cloth diapers-great for burp rags and for cleaning up baby pukes and diapers that uh "blow out". Baby wet wipes are great too. Blankets of all weights are good to have-light ones and heavy ones for the colder weather. Also, since babydeforce is coming at Christmas-lots of baby hats-baby needs to always have it's head covered in the cold. Baby looses most of it's bod heat thru it's head so make sure to cover it up.
Awww Fleur, I've been watching you since at least 2012. You were the first TH-camr that I subscribed to and watched religiously and you're the only TH-camr that I've continued watching over the last 5 years. I watched you get engaged and married and move house 500 times and now I get to watch you have a baby! I can't wish you guys enough good things and thank you for being a part of my life!
Fleur DeForce Fleur- You have to give us pregnancy belly updates once you pop. It will be sweet to see your progression. Keep an album of biweekly portraits, it is a great keepsake. Btw- has your sister saved you some special hand-me-downs? You guys should do a sister edition pregnancy Q&A video together. P.S. -You should look into a birth to teen/adult bed. Get a baby swing for up to 8 months old, it will rock your baby to sleep when nothing else works. Here is a link for the swing: t.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=120572376 Graco makes the best car seats(you can get it on Amazon): t.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=32177046&cp=&s=A-UnitRank&s=A-UnitRank&parentPage=search A friend of mine got this Graco stroller for her baby, she swears by it: t.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=65499026 Baby to Adult bed (this is a well known company in N.Y.): www.bellini.com/carly-convertible-crib.html Good luck!
One thing you need is a sling. Baby will want to be near you all the time and it will really help when walking the dogs etc. Trying to negotiate a pram and 3 dogs will not be easy!
+Anna Lewis yes, I really want to get a sling - have seen a few I like but going to wait for a few more recommendations and read some more reviews before I decide, but I deffo think for walking the dogs etc, it would be very useful! :)
Anna Lewis Great recommendation, I would say it is a real life changing thing! I wish I carried my boy more when he was a small baby, but we still enjoy it even now (he's 15 months) :). But it is true that there are so many non-ergonomic carriers or slings on the market and one can feel overwhelmed...for a newborn it is great to have a woven wrap sling (some are made of very soft cotton) and one can find tutorials on how to wrap it on youtube (e.g. Wrap you in love) :). For instance Yaro has a great selection of wraps and is not expensive, or Didymos, Lenny lamb.
I've had three baby girls and the best thing I ever bought was a Moses basket. It was wonderful, I could carry the baby all around the house! It was so helpful. I passed it down between the girls. Also CONGRATULATIONS !!! Next to your wedding you're entering the best time of your life!
Such a wonderful video. It was also really nice to see you pick out special outfits and being smart and realistic about what you purchased. You're going to be a wonderful mother!
Invest in a great body pillow, the ones that have a pillow on each side of your body! Pregnancy lifesaver for comfortable sleeping! Hubby will just have to get used to having less room 😂
Brittany Post 100% agree! My hubby ended up hating that I would only snuggle with my pillow and not him....but I didn't care cause I was too busy sleeping on a cloud ☁️.
Brittany Post yes!!! Seriously one of the most important things. Especially at the end of the pregnancy when ever position feels so uncomfortable a good pregnancy pillow helps sooooooo much.
For a newborn car seat, I recommend the BeSafe IziGo. It's so snug. The babies do really look safe in them! My daughter loved hers. Loads of people say not to get a changing table, but I really think you need one. When I had my girl in 2015 it was painful to bend down so we put one in the living room so easy access to change a nappy. Changing bag - back pack ones are great. Panda Blue? I think they're called do one. Babygrows are great. That's all they live in for the first like 3 months. Baby grows and super soft little plain outfits. Mother care always do lovely prints. And pram. We had a stokke scoot and at the time I loved it but I realised how many better ones there are on the market. Silver Cross pioneer is really nice. Plus it has all terrain wheels as I know you to a lot of off road walking. Hope this helps. MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS!
ahhh fleur it makes me so excited to see you glowing and happy about your pregnancy! i've been a sunscriber of yours for ages and it's lovely to be part of the next phase of your life.wishing you all the best xxx
Congratulations again Fleur and Mike! Don't be afraid to take pics of you with your belly showing (you don't need to put them on the internet if you don't want to) because you'll want to remember it! With my first kid I took a monthly picture so I could see my bump grow and honestly, they are some of my favorite pictures! On a side note: try not to go to overboard with maternity wear right now because by the last 3 months of your pregnancy you will need to buy bigger sizes of maternity anyway. So only try and buy a few pieces here and there or you'll end up with a bunch of maternity wear that doesn't even fit. Trust me - I know. Mommy of 2 over here! lol
this is a really personal question but you always seem like a really strong and independant person to me. so is that scary do be pregnant and possibly a little bit more dependent on others? (just thought of this just ignore it if the question is too weird :)
Not a question to me, but I had that exact feeling. I couldn't have worded my fears before my baby arrived, better than you have! I don't feel so bad now thankfully, but the thoughts certainly still linger. And no, it's not PND.
oPuenktchen When you're pregnant you don't think about that. You feel very excited and like everything is possible and that you have so many podsibilities. When the baby is born, you're very busy and tired so you don't think about it. By the time the baby grows you start thinking about it but you look back and you see how much you did which gives you confidence. Maybe when your child is older, toddler, you start to ask yourself those questions. When he's sick of course you may feel scared and that you're not gonna make it but it ends up working.
I'm literally so excited for you and mike! I love that you waited a few months to announce and can tell how excited you are! I wish you and mike alllllll the best xox
If there's one thing I had to recommend, it would always be wrap-over bodysuits. Babies usually don't like getting clothes over their head and most parents (at least those I know, including me) are VERY hesitant with handling a fragile newborn. H&M does great ones. A bodysuit and footed jersey trousers, laying on the couch all day was what we did 4 weeks straight.
Congratulations Fleur so excited for you! Currently 37 weeks pregnant, was just going to say you might want to try the over the bump jeans first when you need to wear maternity jeans. When you get bigger at the later stages your belly can get really itchy from the skin stretching so the over bump ones can make that way worse! So excited to see all the beautiful things baby de force will wear 😍 x
Lyndz absolutely true! I had my third baby 3 weeks ago. There is so much crappy pregnancy wear out there. It is unbelievable. Only after wearing through pregnancy you know what is good. H& M is not good quality for tops but I loved their jeans. They were so much better than others that costed 4 times as much, and were from very famous pregnancy brands. Buy as much fitted clothes as possible, they are the most flattering. Congratulations Fleur!
Fleur, I watch your videos since 2010. I started to practice my English, then I dreamt about studying in the UK, then you made a video about uni with lissy. this Friday I'm graduating from LSE! congrats on your baby ❤ after all these years of following you online i honestly feel happy for you guys. best wishes!
My boy is 9 months old now and even though we have so many little outfits, he was basically only in a babygro for the first 6-7 months, they're just so convenient! If you haven't checked them out, the zippys by Bonds (from Australia) are the best ever. Super soft, fun patterns, two way zippers for easy diaper changes, and foot/hand covers that can be flipped on or off depending on need. Seriously. The best.
I worked at Mothercare for years.. put money in to your car seat, and the mattress. The cot itself is up to you as a style choice, but get the best mattress you can. These are the things that keep them safe and healthy. :) Other than that, I'm a big fan of Bugaboo. The fact that every part is easily replaced means that they last well, there's a lot of really stylish options and they're generally rugged enough for your dog-walking lifestyle. Oh, and a decent baby carrier.
I did the same as you and bought pants asap! It's not worth being uncomfortable in tightly buttoned up jeans early on when you're going to need them eventually anyway. Plus we'll probably wear them a few weeks or months after baby is born! I ended sticking with Boob brand maternity/nursing bras. I love them! So comfortable and pretty! Our first baby is due next month. We decided to skip the single baby stroller, since we plan on having more. We got the Mountain Buggy Plus one stroller. It converts from single baby, to baby and toddler, to two toddlers! It's also a jogging all terrain stroller which makes it so versatile! Such an awesome stroller! We can't wait to start using it! As for a car seat we got the Diono Radian RXT Convertible car seat. It goes from newborn to 80 pounds and is very slim! You can fit three in the back seat of a sedan. In the US we have a website/magazine called consumer reports that researches product quality and safety. This car seat has one of the highest crash safety scores! Good luck with all of the baby product research you're working on! I've spend so much time, even before we were ready to have kids looking into all the baby stuff options out there! :)
I did the opposite with the over/under bump jeans. At the end of my pregnancies I was HUGE and the over bump waist band wouldn't go all the way over my belly, and then my boys would kick at the elastic waistband! The under bump jeans felt much better with my bigger belly. As for baby gear, the Dock-A-Tot has been my favourite thing! It's great for baby to sleep in any room or outside, anywhere we hang out.
I am so happy and excited for you! I have been following you for almost four years now and I thought it wouldn't be for a few years until you and Mike decide to have a baby. But you seem like the best couple and this baby will be sooo happy to have parents like you two.
When I was expecting (14 years ago) I had purchased Velvet Tees by Graham and Spencer. They were so comfy and the looked non maternity but very fashion forward. I pretty sure they are still on the market. I really enjoy watching your excitement about being expecting with your 1st child. I'm delighted for you and Mike.
Congratulations!! My son was born at 25 weeks so when he came home he needed a few different things then normal but one thing they had at the hospital that was amazing was a momma roo swing/rocker. That thing was amazing!!! It's great for baby's that have reflux or that need to be in a car to sleep. It has 6 different settings that mimic car rides to a up and down voice. Definitely worth looking into!!
I would recommend to wash baby clothes two times before letting your baby wear it. It was recommended to us because of the chemicals that don't always disappear after the first wash
Did you have to wash them in a specific type of detergent/fabric softener? We used DREFT for my nephews clothes. Not sure if they have that or something else that is similar in the UK.
I'm so excited for you! I have a 9 month old and we got the peg perego infant car seat and 3 wheel buggy that matched and it has been amazing! The safety rating is one of the best in the industry! And its not too skinny so if you have a chunky monkey like I did, it will fit for a long time. I wish I had gotten the Halo Bassinet and will definitely be getting it for the next baby. Also, I know it's expensive but I cannot recommend the Owlet baby foot monitor enough!! It is such a sleep saver! Honestly, one of the few expensive things I would buy over and over again no problem. Oh and for something cheap that was the best $40 I ever spent was the Boppy Lounger. My daughter loved that thing and would take naps in it and it's so comfy for them. My daughter had a bit of reflux and it kept her at a slight incline which helped a lot. Congratulations btw!!!
Never been pregnant over here but from my experience in obstetrics clinic, a lot of moms really seem to like the elastic "belly band" further along in their pregnancy for round ligament pain as the uterus stretches upward and becomes heavier, and it gives a bit of back support with the added weight of bumpdeforce
One thing that I didn't buy for my first baby but I'm so glad I have for my second is a wearable blanket. Both boys have hated to be swaddled but you can't really put them to bed with a blanket and even when they do have one on they tend to kick it off after a bit. These are safe since they zip on like an outfit but keep them warm and cozy for stuff like naps when you may not want to put them in a sleeper every time
SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND MIKE!!! I have been watching you now for about 4 years and I am so so happy! Could you possibly do a bump shot? So we can see the development! xxx
Hello Fleur! Congratulations on the baby! I work at a luxury department store in California in the children's department. Strollers (or as you call them, buggies) come in a wide variety of colors and brands. My advice to you is to focus on three main points for choosing one: adaptability to car seats, opening/closing a stroller, and how well it pushes. I highly recommend you see the stroller before buying. People usually tend to focus on the look and color of a stroller first, but it's important for you to factor in how heavy it will be for you and how easily you can close it. Good luck!
The most helpful items were body pillows bc sleeping gets near impossible, get yourself comfy shoes with room to grow be sometimes feet get swollen, for the baby, a baby swing helped tons which plays soothing music and rocks baby to sleep and microwave bottle sterilizer, also invest in good breast pump
Huge congratulations to you and Mike, Fleur! I've been watching your vid's for years and couldn't be more thrilled for you two (and the doggies!). All the best for a happy & healthy pregnancy 💕
Sammy G oh don't worry she's gonna milk her pregnancy dry! She's gonna make babydeforcre pregnantdeforce babybumpdeforce toddlerdeforce channels soon because hey that means she can go do more unnecessary shopping and buy expensive shit to rub in everyone's faces!
I am sooo happy for you guys! I've been watching you since 2010 and you have always been one of My favorite TH-camrs ever since then so I am over the moon that you are finally having a baby! Congratulations!!
Fleur, First of all I've been watching your videos for years (about 6 now) and I am so excited to hear about the new addition to your family. What a beautiful gift! I have a son myself whose just about to turn 3. My biggest mom advice would be to invest in baby carriers. I'd recommend a wrap and a soft structured carrier or a ring sling and a soft structured carrier. When baby is born they absolutely loved to be carried ( go figure after spending 9 months in utero) and having something to take the weight off you helps tremendously. it helps you do what you need to around your home while still keeping baby close plus babywearing can be tremendously beneficial to a nursing relationship and it counts as tummy time! There are plenty of great carriers out there and videos on TH-cam that show you how to use them properly but what I've loved in the past was lillebaby, lenny lamb and tula. Good luck! let me know if you have any questions!
hermionegranger02 I don't think they were ever particularly close, not like Luise any Zoe but it would still be fun to have like a q&a or something where they could talk about their experiences and how they are maybe different from each other
I think they only ever did one video together, but it would be so cute to see a joint baby haul or something since their kids are so close in age and they live close to each other.
I'm not a mum but I've looked after a baby as an au pair & can honestly say my must have product was a baby carrier/sling! Being able to go hands-free is SO useful in so many situations! Congratulations on your pregnancy, can't wait for your little one to arrive!! :D x
You will be best Mum Fleur! I was watching your announcement video and I can't believe it's been 4 years since your wedding! It feels like last year! Congratulations, you're going to have the most lovely, friendly family ever! Best of wishes 😊
I am so excited for you guys!! My first purchase was maternity jeans too. They are worth the price because you are going to be wearing them throughout your pregnancy and after the baby is born. (You won't fit right into pre-pregnancy things right after baby is born). So buying a good pair is worth the money.

From the research and recommendations we received from parents, we chose the following big ticket items:
- Baby Jogger Mini GT stroller, bassinet, converted for car seat and all the accessories that come with it. It has amazing reviews. Plus, I drive a small sports car so it is easy to get in and out of the trunk since it has a one handed folding system. This is something to think about since you have a mini cooper. A larger stroller will be hard to take in and out.
-Maclaren triump stroller for travel
-Beaba food maker
-Britax BSafe britax carseat and Bsafe convertible carseat.
- 4moms mamaroo
- Halo bassinet
-Ergo carrier
-Skip hop backpack. Decided on a backpack so my husband could wear it too
-Get a body pillow now! You will use it your entire pregnancy. Mike might even end up stealing it from time to time.
-For the nursery, we chose all pottery barn kids items
-Owlet smart sock 2
Would love to know some of the items you end up choosing as you go along through the process.
+sahmad0206 thanks so much for the recommendations! My sister really rates the city mini buggy too... apparently so convenient and easy to fold! :) x
We all know that this baby is going to be the best dressed baby! So excited for you both
Hayley Carter and the prettiest one with the most amazing eyes 😌
Thanks Hayley! xo
I would love to see Mike do a video about buggies! He's into cars and I think he would give it a good Top Gear vibe! Haha xxx
ILoveRuToo That would be really fun!
ILoveRuToo I love this idea! haha.
Great idea!
We are all so excited!!
Mia yes💕💜
Everytime I think about her having a baby I start smiling
sweetbabyxcupcake same! I can just picture Fleur and Mike being such amazing parents :)

if you can, get a boppy pillow... even if you don't breastfeed it's so great to have to hand...
Anne Donlon same! Nobody tells you the whole truth about it ,do they?!
princesscharlott1983 Nope, no one does... 😍😆
Those pillows are also great for tummy time when baby is a bit bigger
Couldn't have clicked on this video any faster if i tried! You're one of the few youtubers i've been watching and stayed with from the start and I'm so happy for you. You and mike are going to amazing parents, congratulations!
My friend who just had a baby swears by Bonds Wondersuits - they have zips and are much less fiddly than button down suits. Lovely to see you so happy and glowy Fleur!
Baby de force is going to have so many uncles and aunties across the world supporting and loving them😊😁✨
Awwww this is soooo sweeet :) The love from you guys about this baby has been incredible 💜 xo
Aw that's such a lovely comment :)
awwww this is so sweet and true!!!
I'd recommend:
- a bed side crib (snuz pod)
- sleepyhead (basically a really expensive pillow which helps them feel more enclosed in the big crib. Also very portable to move around the house for day naps and great for travelling and staying in hotels!)
-Bugaboo pushchairs with a maxi cosi group 0 car seat which attaches to the buggy frame. Means you don't have to get them out off the car seat when they're asleep and again great for travelling.
-Aden & Anasis swaddle blankets are amazing quality, wash really well and double up as nursing covers
Looking forward to watching the rest of your pregnancy journey! X
Congratulations on the pregnancy we've all been waiting for this! ❤️
the Chicco next to me cot was a life saver for me when I had my baby last year - it's a great size, and if your baby has reflux it inclines to help them sleep better.
Laura Wood I'm due in October to xx
Laura Wood I'm due my second in October too. Congratulations, ladies!
Congratulations to you both too ☺️
im due in october aswell .. :)) goodluck mommies x
I highly recommend a pregnancy pillow and also a bassinet that you can have next to your bed. Makes getting up at night so much easier! ❤
My bets are on a baby boy!!!!! So happy for you and Mike!!! Ive been waiting for this day to come for so long!!! I wish u two the best!! Xxxxx
The one by 4 moms is amazing.
ammie raymer what a lovely thing to do!
princesscharlott1983 thank you. We also have a 15 year. He was 13 when we adopted him.
Your comment is to true spend far to much on your 1st learn for your 2nd that you don't need half as much!!
Can I just add Ammie you sound an amazing woman!
Top recommendations for baby:
Bugaboo Cameleon we love ours, we take it down gravel tracks without any issues.
Katie Seymour I'm 24 weeks and have heard exactly the same so we are buying one! £120 but apparently so worth it
Diana Williams I got a cocoonababy - same sort of thing - and my newborn loved it.
Gemma M yes! I love my bag! I even got one that looked gender neutral so my hubby doesn't mind carrying it either.
Congrats on your baby :) I'll check out the Kate Spade bags for you! xo
+duckyduckluv baba that's already happening! 😂🙈😂🙈
Stephanie no I didn't get the kettle but I got a stove one which looked much nicer. How are the kids?
Fleur I've been watching you since I was 12 and you used to make videos on the floor of your spare bedroom before you even graduated! I'm turning 19 this week and I honestly feel like I've grown up with you. You and Mike are so lovely together and I'm so excited to watch you both become parents. Congratulations, we're all so happy for you xx
is it wrong that I want these just cause I'm bloated ?!
Ali I actually have some of those jeans, wich i wear when im bloated. (I dont have kids yet)
and i freaking love it, soooo comfy.
like when you have cramps, and lie on the couch with a heating blanket, but on the go, 😍
you should get some!
No because same
Reminds me of that episode of Friends where Joey puts on maternity pants for Thanksgiving :P
Zandra Larsen maternity bras are ridiculously more comfortable than regular ones too.
Hhaha I'm def gonna continue wearing them after for as long as I can! So comfy! xo
The pregnancy glow looks so good on you, you are just shining and are all smiles. I am so happy for you, Fleur! I've seen so many youtube babies so far, can't wait to see baby DeForce. kisses
Ahhh I'm so excited for you and Mike!
The Sims Gallery you literally watch all of the same youtubers as me 😂
Congratulations Fleur and Mike! I am 22 weeks pregnant and started making videos about it at 12 weeks. Feels so good to be past that mark and able to share with the world. Long time subscriber and excited to watch your pregnancy journey!
I just love #babydeforce :D
and buying a special outfit for the first coming home is such a great idea even if it's a more expensive one because your future children will use it too and when they'll grow up you will look back at it and have such a special memory.
It is so lovely to see you beaming so excitedly! Very happy for you both, wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy xxx
My mother wrote a pregnancy/ birth diary on all her 4 children and gave them to us when we were older. Great memories for her and stories for us!
Thats so awesome! Such a sweet gift! xo
Here is a link for the swing: t.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=120572376
Graco makes the best car seats(you can get it on Amazon): t.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=32177046&cp=&s=A-UnitRank&s=A-UnitRank&parentPage=search
A friend of mine got this Graco stroller for her baby, she swears by it:

Good luck!
Been watching for many years now Fleur. Your happiness is just so lovely to see. Huge congratulations to you. Xxx
Fleur DeForce just make sure it's ergonomic and not a crotch dangler :)
For instance Yaro has a great selection of wraps and is not expensive, or Didymos, Lenny lamb.
adrianawl wrapyouinlove is great for wrapping tutorials! A close caboo is a great sling if a wrap seems daunting :)
random, but nice name :)
I've had three baby girls and the best thing I ever bought was a Moses basket. It was wonderful, I could carry the baby all around the house! It was so helpful. I passed it down between the girls. Also CONGRATULATIONS !!! Next to your wedding you're entering the best time of your life!
You and Louise are both having babies my life is complete
whose Louise?
mauren3 Louise pentland (sprinkleofglitter)
Oh really that's lovely!
And Bubz is having her second child!
Ebony day is having one as well !
Brittany Post or a giant sausage pillow
Brittany Post Amen to this!!! This will save your back and hips. It will make a difference and will still be useful after #babydeforce is born.
Brittany Post yes!!! Seriously one of the most important things. Especially at the end of the pregnancy when ever position feels so uncomfortable a good pregnancy pillow helps sooooooo much.
I got one! TOTAL GAMECHANGER :) xo
Omg Fleur I'm so excited for you and Mike! Feel like I'm the one having the baby 😂💕 xx
ahhh fleur it makes me so excited to see you glowing and happy about your pregnancy! i've been a sunscriber of yours for ages and it's lovely to be part of the next phase of your life.wishing you all the best xxx
Mommy of 2 over here! lol
It's so cute to see you so excited about this new chapter in your life.
this is a really personal question but you always seem like a really strong and independant person to me. so is that scary do be pregnant and possibly a little bit more dependent on others? (just thought of this just ignore it if the question is too weird :)
Not a question to me, but I had that exact feeling. I couldn't have worded my fears before my baby arrived, better than you have! I don't feel so bad now thankfully, but the thoughts certainly still linger. And no, it's not PND.
oPuenktchen
When you're pregnant you don't think about that.
Trust me, when your bump is big you will LOVE every thing you wear to be over-bump! Congratulations Fleur, so happy for you and Mike! X
So happy for you fleur 😊
Other than that, I'm a big fan of Bugaboo.
💓💙 can't wait to see what you are having!! Love baby things xx
you are literally glowing throughout the entirety of this video Fleur!! So lovely to see!!
+Leslie LaFleche ooh interesting! Maybe I'll end up going under, over then under again! 😂 thanks for the recommendations! Xx
Fleur DeForce Congratulations! I'm excited to know what name you choose. Or have chosen already...🤔😂
I am so happy and excited for you! I have been following you for almost four years now and I thought it wouldn't be for a few years until you and Mike decide to have a baby. But you seem like the best couple and this baby will be sooo happy to have parents like you two.
So happy for you guys!Xx
When I was expecting (14 years ago) I had purchased Velvet Tees by Graham and Spencer. They were so comfy and the looked non maternity but very fashion forward. I pretty sure they are still on the market. I really enjoy watching your excitement about being expecting with your 1st child. I'm delighted for you and Mike.
I'm gonna be 28 weeks in a couple days and I still haven't bought a single thing for my first baby! I feel so behind!
Khizra S congratulations!! I'm going to be 28 weeks in 2 days 😃
What, a £100 cashmere? Ha...
LisaNYC70 we use non biological washing powder and fabric softner. something like fairy.
IrishMammy thats true.
countrymusicfan90 once is enough but yes wash everything not just because of the chemicals but also it's softer on their skin
The wee White Company outfit is gorgeous. If I could get away with wearing that myself I would!
+Helen Lafferty haha YES! I would so wear an adult size one! Wish they made one! Perhaps not the most flattering 😂😂😂
Your going to be the most amazing mother
One thing that I didn't buy for my first baby but I'm so glad I have for my second is a wearable blanket. Both boys have hated to be swaddled but you can't really put them to bed with a blanket and even when they do have one on they tend to kick it off after a bit. These are safe since they zip on like an outfit but keep them warm and cozy for stuff like naps when you may not want to put them in a sleeper every time
Aww love that pregnancy GLOW!!!! So excited to find out what your having!😍
I am so here for all your baby videos, I remember following makeupbytiffanyd when she was pregnant and it's just so exciting to watch!
Definitely get a baby wrap for the newborn stage, so handy especially for dog walks so you have your hands free! Congratulations too xx
SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND MIKE!!! I have been watching you now for about 4 years and I am so so happy! Could you possibly do a bump shot? So we can see the development! xxx
It's 100% a baby boy 👶🏻. Congratulations, may you have a healthy bouncy baby boy. 🎈🎉😘
Halaa it's a girl
I have been watching you for at least 6 years. Soooo happy to see you grow, someone just being happy in this crazy world for once.
+theresa leticia thanks for still being here! Much love ❤️❤️❤️
Can not wait to find out what you're having! 💖💙 I'll be 28 weeks in a couple of days and it's our first baby too 😃
Huge congratulations to you and Mike, Fleur! I've been watching your vid's for years and couldn't be more thrilled for you two (and the doggies!). All the best for a happy & healthy pregnancy 💕
Mumdeforce or Babydeforce channel perhaps?
FamdeForce?! The possibilities are endless :D
I think Mumdeforce is already taken, that's her mom's nickname/ IG name 😃
Sammy G oh don't worry she's gonna milk her pregnancy dry! She's gonna make babydeforcre pregnantdeforce babybumpdeforce toddlerdeforce channels soon because hey that means she can go do more unnecessary shopping and buy expensive shit to rub in everyone's faces!
Jen why are you watching her videos if you don't like her?
Jen go home
Omg congrats , your making me broody, I loved my maternity clothes so much. It's such a great feeling when your baby belly starts to show x
congrats your going to be a beautiful mum xxx
I am sooo happy for you guys! I've been watching you since 2010 and you have always been one of My favorite TH-camrs ever since then so I am over the moon that you are finally having a baby! Congratulations!!
bet it's a boy....wear your bikini be proud of your bump xxx
Fleur,
First of all I've been watching your videos for years (about 6 now) and I am so excited to hear about the new addition to your family.
Fluer's due date is really close to sprinkle of glitter's....Collab?????
That would be so sweet!
+Can't Even Do they still get on?
hermionegranger02 I don't think they were ever particularly close, not like Luise any Zoe but it would still be fun to have like a q&a or something where they could talk about their experiences and how they are maybe different from each other
I think they only ever did one video together, but it would be so cute to see a joint baby haul or something since their kids are so close in age and they live close to each other.
Emily Ann Lincoln just realised I put the same as you lol, what timing be nice to see them collab with the babies x
I'm not a mum but I've looked after a baby as an au pair & can honestly say my must have product was a baby carrier/sling! Being able to go hands-free is SO useful in so many situations! Congratulations on your pregnancy, can't wait for your little one to arrive!! :D x
You look absolutely gorgeous, Fleur! Truly, you are stunning. Pregnancy looks good on you, sweet mama. 💗💜
You will be best Mum Fleur! I was watching your announcement video and I can't believe it's been 4 years since your wedding! It feels like last year! Congratulations, you're going to have the most lovely, friendly family ever! Best of wishes 😊
*Hey Fluer, thanks a lot for using our royalty free music in your videos. Glad we can help all content creators big and small.*
I am so excited for you guys!!
My first purchase was maternity jeans too. They are worth the price because you are going to be wearing them throughout your pregnancy and after the baby is born. (You won't fit right into pre-pregnancy things right after baby is born). So buying a good pair is worth the money.
