As always, a GREAT thing seeing Mel C in concert. As for the band, my personal tastes are waaay for the other musicians - the great, older band that had lasted the most (2005 - 2016). i don't know for sure, but it could just be that if mel wasn't touring one year, the band moved on/signed on to another tour and wasn't available for any tour dates or festivals she had in 2018. i think last year she also did a lot of dj sets and performing at places like pride so maybe didn't require a backing band as much? i think a lot of backing musicians tend to be freelance, as opposed to contracted to certain artists fully.
