I totally agree with you and he grew up in church so he does have that sound to him vocally. It makes you wish he would do a gospel song. He said in an interview I read that he loved the feeling that he got in church during praise and worship but never "caught the holy ghost". He just knew that he loved the feeling that the music gave off. I DEF feel his passion when he sings, It takes me back to Nat King Cole, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye and Micheal Jackson. They were singing from experience!

Funny how he goes by two Bible names, I mean based on his performance Luke James must have some type of church background. He incorporates this "church element" / vibe in his performance. The way the bgv's repeated his words towards the end along w/the feeling of the song idk why but it reminds me of praise & worship @ church. But I do see Luke James' passion that clearly shows.
