Get a head start on your garden and extend your growing season. The best way to do this is to start early in Spring and grow cool loving vegetables like radish, spinach, lettuce, kale, bok choy, turnip, carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, arugula, peas, onions, and swiss chard. Some of these do need to be started indoors as early as February. However there are some that you can directly sow in the ground. We start planting outdoors early April as soon as the ground can be worked on or when the soil temperature is right around 7°C (45°F) and up. A row cover can help keep the soil warm and protect your seedlings. Here's a list of seeds that you can plant directly in soil. - Radish - Spinach - Lettuce - Turnip - Arugula - Carrots - Peas What seeds have you started?
Wow you take seed planting to a whole new level. I just throw mine out there and pray. I have a think about buying seeds , kinda hooked. My favorite is mango which I buy the delicious fruit then plant that cool 3” seed. You have a beautiful harvest! My rabbits are salivating. I put black trash bags over the area I’m throwing seeds to warm up the soil and bring the worms.
Hello, your videos are just awesome and so relaxing. You are inspiring so many people out there with your videos. I hope you will continue to do the same. Personally, I've also been inspired by you and started to grow some vegetables in our balcony. Thank you for your videos!!😊
This makes us so happy to hear, we love that you are growing your own vegetable in your balcony! Good job!! We hope more and more will do the same too. Happy growing :)
Thank you so much, I will do this in my garden tomorrow also! Can you please keep us informed as you go along this spring so we may follow along and hopefully this fall have a glorious veggie garden like yours! You are such an inspiration!
So interesting to see just how much different climates influence planting/growing schedules. This time of year (Nov-Dec) is when I harvest tomatoes, and it's when we can safely start planting carrot, radish, and brassica seeds outside. By May, it's already getting too hot & humid for pollination, and the summertime is when we can't grow much at all.
I follow a similar method and like the soil tapping method. Pressing that board, or a broom handle, into the soil helps connect the water column in the soil (capillary action). This helps a lot with germination.
Most of these will grow within 30 days like radish and spinach. Carrots take a little longer but, the make a great companion to peppers and tomatoes. By end of May, that when we plant peppers and tomatoes.
Do you cargo any seeds verities to other country cus I would like to buy from you. You have many varieties of all the veggies as i know i can't found these different colours of veggies, herbs in my city so i would like to grow in my garden too , i love nature ,i love gardening and your video's make my mood fresh so i scroll over and over again for many time i repeat your video's cuz its soothing my eyes 🙂 huge love from BHARAT 🪷🇮🇳🙏

One thing I do is watch the asparagus. When you see asparagus, you can plant potatoes
🫰 thanks!

How do you keep the extra everything you grow? Freeze them?
And how long does it take to harvest. Can i grow all these amd put in tomato as a succesion or will it take to long to harvest

Have your own income on the side, so all your harvest don't go to waste😊
It’s ready compost or you make your own??
Where are you located because I would like to know the zone
You’re a genius …
