- @meritbeauty came out with a new finish of their amazing Shade Slicks - Gelees! These sheer lip glosses have high shine, are non-sticky and have moisture supporting ingredients to hydrate the lips.
The shade differences are super subtle, but from my first impression, I really like Mapleton for a bit of a darker wash of color and Jete to just enhance my natural lip color! Have you tried this formula? The original Merit Shade Slicks are so comfortable and have amazing pigmentation that’s wearable for day or night.

FYI at least some of these colors contain the Red 27 pigment, which is the color changing/ph reactive pigment that turns bright pink. The base colors can impact the way the final color turns out to a degree, but the ones that contain red 27 will all trend towards hot pink and will likely leave a little bit of a stain on the lips.

Just so you all know, these all have a touch of that “PH adjusting” stuff in it. So if you keep it on long enough, they’ll all pretty much turn the same color of pink

Did they stain your lips? Do you recommend rare beauty or this one?
They did super slightly! I think the rare beauty ones are way different. While these are sheer, rare beauty ones are high pigment. These are more of an oil, and those are more of a glossy stain. So depends what you’re looking for! Both formulas feel great
Can't see their true color as your lips have stained by all the previous ones making every one of them look like a darker shade of pink than the one before. This one should be redone.
