Congratulations to Arcaea for finishing it's main story in 2022! While I pretty much missed experiencing the game as stuff came out (only started in August 2022, so 4 months), I still really enjoy this game! Currently at ptt 11.77 and I hope to get my first star in 2023!

I started in late July 2021 and I’m at 10.22 potential but only like February of 2022 I got a account I didn’t have one before that
I remember ver 1.0 intro, so about 5 years. And i'm still stuck on 10.99. Stuck on 11.10 now.
Grinding isn't the only thing you need to break into the upper skill levels.
Damn i started at somewhere around february or march 2022 and now im currently at 10.32ptt, i guess i suck at this game huh?😅
This year we got a true ending for ongoing story for 5 years, from 1st pack "Eternal Core" to latest pack "Final Verdict + Silent Answer". This is really remind us how arcaea going so far, from unknown&newbie rhythm game in 2017 to a famous one with a plenty of well-known artist & original songs. Yet we have a "BYD" difficulty with true ending enemy "Testify FTR11 + BYD12". I really cannot agree more that FV+SA pack are the most craziest one, many famous artist are gathering. The PV visual is elegant.
Hope Lowiro will keep this game & improving more in 2023!

I was super hyped when they announced the final chapter and how we were thrown for one hell of a loop with tairitsu. I've been playing since 2020, even if I'm really bad as a thumb player (and stopped playing recently, won't stop me coming back soon, though)
Just watched your 2021 rewind, can't wait for this years, with the end of the story and all that :)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh it is very great video, I enjoyed it a lot. For me it was the most grandeur and interesting year of my life. It is very connected with Arcaea, Because I started playing it since January on my phone hehe. It was a long journey from apathy to the live living, January-february: the joy of the new game, also of the new year. febraury-june: the lost hope for the search. june-september: the lost me, October: the hope, and the end is the ultimate. And all of things happened to me connected with Arcaea and Russian community of rythm gamers, So guys I hope you'r all will be living a beautiful lives in the new year, as for me. I Bought IPad and will be playing this year on the big screen so the new era comes:)

I literally cried. Since ive played this game from 2020, saving my moneys to buy the story packs, and now, the story ends beautifully. lowiro never dissapoints me with their songs, it brings so much memories to me

Damn. This year is the end of my hands, only 7 months after joining Arcaea. The rewind has told me what was I missing, and I'm looking to continue my journey even if the Main Story is officially over.

Arcaea 2022 was definitely interesting to a lot of people
I know everyone has been waiting for the story to conclude, so seeing the presentation done by all the cinematics is just exhilarating
I guess my only comment about the charts is on the BYDs... Yeah Testify BYD is very clearly not Arcaea at all. For the finale I get they want to make something far more difficult, but I didn't think it's to the extent of changing the way to play the game... Idk it feels like it's too much but not too much at the same time. And then some parts of the chart are designed to kill people for whatever reason
The others are fine though. I still hate RBG but that's about it

So sad at how late I found this game. Just started playing a few days ago and starting it o get obsessed. It’s a lot fun and the first rhythm game I’ve enjoyed since Beat Saber. Hope it keeps going 🙏

Lamia must be a 11 because its too hard to be a 10+
Few things to say about this video:
1. Testify future is good as a 10.8: Testify future is to be honest not that hard, certainly easier than lamia, since the last part (75% - 95%) of lamia is just pure evil with the nasty hand patterns. The reason why only 7 PMed testify future in 6 months is because of the fact that all attention has been drawn to the beyond difficulty, it goes the same for pentiment and arcana eden, there are less people PMing pentiment future in the first months or so as compared to a normal 10.3, this is literally because of the fact that there is this beyond difficulty hanging there.
2. Testify beyond 12?: I guess if arcaea difficulty system is solely judged by the difficulty to PM, then yes, I agree with the current difficulty; however, I have to say, if game judges difficulty by overall difficulty of scoring, clear, hard clear, and PM, which is a more fair way to judge difficulty, then testify should be considered as around same difficulty as Tempestissimo & Pentiment. Tempestissimo is extremely hard to get a good score, it is still my lowest score for 11s and it is even lower than testify, tempestissimo is top #1 hardest to upscore, even to date. Now what about pentiment? Pentiment is unbelievably hard to tempest clear. Literally. Whenever I reach the end (like around 80% of the song), I start losing lots of notes, especially on the 8th chords, I would say it is the hardest to tempest clear compared to testify and tempestissimo. Neither tempestissimo nor testify has a super difficult part that lasts for long, but pentiment does… so yea lowiro might want to re-consider the difficulty… Testify does not necessarily have to be nerfed, but at least buff pentiment and tempestissimo… Pentiment should probably be 11.6 and tempestissimo 11.9, arcana eden is good as a 11.4, but maybe you can take it to 11.5?
i feel like you're stating your opinion on the charts, not the video itself, but I respect it.
all of the comments made in the video is also supposed to be my opinion, which you might agree or disagree on. The main point of this video is to do a rewind, not to discuss which chart is harder.
but if i need to reply, here is what i could say to state the reason I put those comments on that chart
1. Testify FTR IS harder than you thought, you might find it easier to upscore than lamia. Sure. But for us getting PMs, lamia is like a walk in the park for us. Testify FTR's consistency is just a pain in the butt to deal with as every arcs and crosshands can be easily lost.
Also, about 7 people getting max-pm. Testify is the boss chart, so every difficulty actually counts. Sure, beyond will get the most attention. But with the natural life of people grinding maxes, FTR is also hell to manage.
Also, you would not only focus on beyond after 6 months, especially when you are grinding PMs. This may not make sense if you aren't in the realm of 13ptts, so I'm not judging anything and I respect your thoughts.
As I've said this before, all the comments I made on the chart is just my opinion. This is why I worded it like that.
2. I can't say anything to this one. Testify is a 12. And will always be a 12. I can't explain how hard it is, or why it is hard.
Not saying "skill issue" or anything. But when the time you start grinding Testify for real, you will know why it is indeed the hardest chart in the game, by a long shot.

@@Bun5_ But from what you said, an assumption of “Difficulty is judged by PM” was automatically made before everything makes sense. I won’t say if the assumption is wrong or anything, because I do not know for myself, but certainly, I was trying to not argue. I gave two possibilities for how difficulty is judged, I clearly said in the previous comment, that, “if arcaea difficulty system is solely judged by the difficulty to PM, then yes, I agree with the current difficulty” All that you said about how it is hard to get a PM or “start to grind for real”, what you are basically saying is that the goal is PM, not just a normal upscore. Therefore, before everything you say makes sense, you already took my first possibility by default. Again, I am not saying it is wrong or anything, but I don’t really see a point of telling me something that I have already considered. I was just saying if lowiro wants to count in the difficulty for up scoring, or just a tempest clear… then the difficulties of tempestissimo and pentiment needs to move up a bit. (Certainly, lots of the newer players cannot even dream to PM a beyond 11.4, all they can do is to set lower goals like clearing, then hard clear, or tempest clear… really)
You said you don’t know how testify beyond is hard, but it is just hard… well, it is actually because there are some really annoying patterns that you would normally just tank if you are trying to upscore; however, in attempts to PM, you cannot just tank (or in other words, purposefully miss some notes for the greater good) notes because PMing requires perfection, I do not know if you understood or not, but that is the best I can explain it. I will give an example: The part right before transitioning into 4k, the pattern is awfully annoying and I usually just miss two notes purposefully to pure all other ones around that part, still, I can get at least a 9.967 million with that. This pattern exists again at the end and is just irritating for those aiming for a PM for sure.

I did not try to argue into changing your mind or anything, I’m just saying that all the comments I’ve made are judged on my opinion and you have every reason to disagree with me, and I will completely respect it.
And I’m completely in the wrong here; I’m not the most fluent in English and lack of some reading comprehension skills sometimes. Sorry for wasting your time to pretty much write all of that again. In the end, no one knows how lowiro decide to assign the chart’s CC, so we won’t ever know for real on the “should-be” CC.
