I'm pretty sure the 2d and 3d stuff isn't a style, I think it's when animators want to sketch the story before all the 3d stuff Yea I don't know much bout animating but I do enjoy watching it
@@muneydeggir Your definitely right, I'm pretty sure its a way to show good perspective and helps the background artists make it accurate the characters surrounds and how they interact with the environment. I think it looks pretty cool by itself though and works a lot better than a drawing (for the most part).
I've worked mainly in live action storyboarding, and thought this process would be really fun for some quick storytelling. Let me know if you dive into it, I love seeing what everybody is doing with this stuff!
It's weird because I'm a little tired of good guy Venom but I'm also sick of bad guy Venom. So when it went from "Venom is bad guy" to "Oh Venom is good guy" it was oddly refreshing. Also very neat animatic. U_U
Thank you! I always like Venom as more of a morally gray type character. The lethal protector angle is fun sometimes, but it can devolve pretty quickly depending on the writer.
Haha, yeah. Rotating a 3d camera around a 3d object gets a little janky, and I had to quit messing with that part an move on. I still giggle watching it myself, and make a little woosh sound.
I think the newest one I've linked in the description is probably as far I'll take it. I'm more of a storyboard artist than a full on animator, haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

Yeah, Its Miles. I changed the color for him in the suit to the same color of him in civvies in the new one. Hopefully that makes it a bit easier to read at a glance.
I think a lot of people use blender for vfx stuff, so I'm sure you could use it in some aspect of stop motion. I'm not where it would really fit in to the pipeline, but it s a really strong program with a ton of different use cases.
@@NoBudgetBits.I've applied for a few positions at sony, but I havent seen anything open for Insomniac. Indo know at least one guy who did storyboards for Spider-Man 2, and the quality is amazing, haha
