Fundata is the residence village of the commune of the same name in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania. Starting from July 16, 1973[3] the village of Fundata (Brașov), together with 13 other localities, was declared, experimentally, a village of tourist interest called "tourist village".
Located at an altitude of 1360 m, Fundata is the town located at the highest altitude in the country. Located in the middle of the distance between Bran and Rucăr, on the corridor, it is guarded by the Bucegi mountains and the Piatra Craiului mountains.
