I have been in IT for 14 years and 8 of them in Cyber. You do NOT need a Masters in Cyber to make well into the 6 figures. CISSP and CEH is plenty, the rest is OTJT. Good Luck! Dave gave perfect advice 45:00.
I lied. One more comment; actually, a question: We (devoted listeners) SERIOUSLY need Dave Ramsey's take on the (yesterday's) eviction moritorium now lifted.
And, Yes, Thank you: "guilt- free". The work- ethic of the Industrial Revolution still haunts us, have no doubt! My generation was Pounded with the Imperative of punishing work hours/ damage to health/ sleep deprivation as "points of pride"-- No! Science says you are destroying yourself, and you don't have to. Yes, work hard. No, don't destroy your health.
I listen to D. Ramsey and I listen to Robert Kiyosaki - different approaches. Ramsey's: Be debt free vs Kiyosaki's: debt is good (unless you buy things that become assets: real estate, knowledge etc). Which one is better?
Well, Kiyosaki is $1.2B in debt by his own accounting, while Dave owns all his properties and assets with no debt. RK says it’s the bank’s problem if he defaults on his obligations. DR advocates paying off your debts. While both went bankrupt, DR did so almost 40 years ago, RK did it 12 years ago.
Christy: I ask this in the gentlest, non- confrontational way possible (let's face it; you're smart as a whip and have excellent insight & advice)-- But what (otherwise) qualifies you to assert the teachings/ guidance put forth in your book?
Life experience. Such philosophocal books don't need to be based on research. Like you said, she's super smart and has great advice on the show so I'm sure the book is full of wisdom.
Promise I'll stop commenting, but this was a particularly good episode; (AKA, "It's your fault"): I've struggled (and somewhat still struggle) with guilt over my exceptional good fortune. Nationally (USA), I'm a 5%- er. Globally, I'm... Incomprehensibly rich. What finally helped me reconcile: Turn the question over. Would my defeat, my powerlessness, my poverty benefit others?
Dave’s answers are the best. Though I question why he let the rapture one slide.. The rapture is a false teaching. Religion is man-made and therefore full of faults. Ezekiel chapter 13 clarifies things. Follow not the traditions of men, rather study the Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse. It’s also important to go back to the Hebrew to gain full understanding of the Word.
@@danielh2553 how they started is not relevant to if they borrowed money or not. If you include your home in networth and you borrowed to buy your most valuable asset, it's dishonest to say you didn't borrow to become wealthy.

Please stop asking people what they inherited. Because of ego, they all deny it
1:31:00 telling too much truth Dave!

Ugh...😩 I can't wait to be debt free.
Keep going, Kimberly!
Hope you done it
Did you get out of debt?
Did you get out of debt?
"it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle thank for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven", it is not impossible :)

See below comment: This is where you, Cristy, come in: BALANCE.
Let's do what we can with what we have.

So if you want to be a doctor you’re supposed to save up and pay cash? Dave Is out of touch with reality and he knows it
The millionaires say they never borrowed money to become wealthy, yet a third of the net worth is usually the house so that’s inaccurate.
They didn’t start out with a $300k+ house, they bought that house when they could pay for it. So, it’s semantics.

Sounds like you’re a bit salty.
@@lizzieb6311 who sent you here?
@@amanirosefoundation Maybe they did not borrow. There are other ways to purchase a home.
Dave cussing is so unbecoming.
