The Dragon - MTB - Newaygo State Park, Michigan

This was our primary focus on this trip and it didn't disappoint, 47 miles of well built easy riding with lots of scenic views of Hardy Pond. It's a two way system so expect to run into riders from the opposite direction and remember that the uphill rider has the right away. If you get lucky and the uphill rider gives you the go ahead to keep flowing down don't forget to thank them, we ran into a few "no etiquette" riders. We camped at Newaygo State Park and you can access the trail right from there, it's a rustic campground with lots of nice sized private sites with a small little beach, just perfect enough for a post ride cool down. We rode clockwise so we'll have to come back to try the other direction as there were definitely more people riding it counter-clockwise that day. Thanks for watching and remember to stay Busy Livin'!
