Basics just screams Chaeyoung. She's my favourite lyricist in TWICE. 'Handle it' is one of my favourite B-sides from TWICE. Other songs in this album are also nice but leans towards a more mature vibe.

Basics and Trouble are fighting for the top spot as my favorite of the album! I think the rest of the songs are all great individually, but I don’t quite feel like this is their most musically cohesive album. Especially following after Formula of Love and Taste of Love which I felt like have tracklists beautifully setup to follow a journey. This rather feels a little all over the place. I do still really like all of them, just wish there was a better flow from one track to the next.

I didn't think I'd vibe with Queen of Hearts from the preview because I thought it'd be like Ponytail (Ponytail is cheesy to me. Sorry 😅) I was worried the "Yeah I'm a Queen" part would take it to the "Hey" chants in Ponytail territory, but it worked for me in the context of the complete song. The vocals and melodies are so strong! I'd love to see this in concert just to hear Jeongyeon's parts live!
Basics is simply 🔥 Chaeyoung did a great job with the lyrics. I like the chill breezy vibe and hearing the fast delivery from members that usually don't rap. MIna at 6:40 is the highlight for me. Ha ha. Trouble is cool, but ranks low on the album for me.
