I'm Filipino and I am currently remodeling a real farmhouse my wife and I bought here in the US. When I hear "American inspired" anything, I would expect exactly that. Who's interpretation is this? Nothing of it looks anything like an American farmhouse, except the field. American farmhouses don't have this much cement. Instead, it has stone packed driveways and paths. And the porches are typically wood while the railings either don't exist or they have vertical slats. The porch railings in this home are designed how the peripheral fencing for the property should be with the "X" design. As for the interior, it isn't even farmhouse contemporary, it is straight contemporary like Ikea. I appreciate the effort but perhaps doing some architectural and interor design research could have helped legitimize the home as being "American Inspired". If I were to build a bahay kubo, I wouldn't use cement and then furnish it with Ikea furniture. It would destroy any credibility of my understanding what a bahay kubo is.

The house is cheap for us living here in U.S. i.e. San Francisco bay area precisely in Oakland hills... for $950k here would get you 2 bedroom 1 bath 1300 sqf house with 5000 sqf lot with current house around the neighborhood sold comp at $1.3M median price.... yes that house is gargantuan compare to my house....BUT... the cost of leaving, job will have to be add into equation....otherwise local buyer in that area will be out of range unless the buyer target are top consecutives, business owners etc. etc... For like us folks from High cost of living that comes from other country specifically state like from California specifically living like the bay area...ITS CHEAP price for us... really it is in comparison here... if that house is for sale here in Bay area it pricing with all the amenities plus fully furnished it will be in $10M to $15M and that is less than 1M in term of current and currency rate....and speaking of ranch thats very very much Texas ranch style like our ranch here in Southern Texas👏👏👏👏 I love the design.... basically your living in Texas just in Philippines....❤❤❤ Job weldone...
