So far, this is an absolutely fantastic phone with blazing fast interface and after the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update, everything feels more fluid, more intuitive. The dialpad gets new skin with logs & contact menu, gallery gets extensive editing tools and keyboard now supports color emoji characters.
Moto G is beyond doubt the best phone to buy at this moment and the price of this smartphone is also as you know very aggressive. The specs sheet of Moto G puts all the phones in its class to shame and even mid-range devices like Galaxy Grand 2 seems over-priced. We do recommend this phone to all of you and do get the 16GB version as there is no external SD card support.

I bought a Moto G last month (4.4.2 KitKat) and really liking it, Great looking screen, super responsive and runs everything smooth. My only gripes would be the lack of an SD card slot and way over aggressive noise filtering in the Camera which ends up eliminating a lot of fine details, if you take burst mode shots it bypasses the filtering which results in slightly better pictures but this method causes extra noisy shots in low light.

Very thorough review. I'm really thinking of getting one or the oneplusone - i'm hoping the camera is much better than the orange monte carlo / zte skate. I'm sure the rest of the performance is. How is the sound quality when using high quality - as good as an ipod? Loud enough? Did you do the camera samples? Can't find them.

Good review. What are the dual sim settings on this device? Are there different profiles for each sim? specifically, can we set different ringtones/message tones for each sim, block specific contacts on each sim?

Hi Sukesh! You say that the back cover is rubberized which is awesome. But the european version is not instead it's very slippery... (Also the Motorola logo is not white as the one on the video). So, I was wondering if you knew some place online to buy this original motorola rubberized shell ? Thanks :)

Why don't you review the phones after using it for 10 or 20 days because all phone will be good at every thing like touch response and the speed at the first boot

Does the latest, as of 04/29/14, Verizon Prepaid Moto G has Android 4.4 installed or does it have Android 4.3 then it needs to be updated to 4.4
If it does need an update from 4.3, Can you still perform the update to 4.4 even WITHOUT activating the phone and just being used as a wifi micro tablet.

hey i was using moto g with android update 4.4.4 and i tried some games like jetpack joyride , samurai vs zombie 2 and mushroom wars . The apps close by itself after sometime usage and i also saw a bit of lagging and hanging problem , so is it the app problem or set problem or anything else ??

From what research I did none of the Moto G phones come with external memory slots . You make use with the stock 8 or 16gbs.
