I'm wondering if many of the people making negative comments realize; Lara Fabian sings many of her songs in like 7 different languages! If you watch Utube video's of Lara singing a song in different languages with English Subtitles. You will notice some songs can vary greatly in translation because they're is no equivalent English word! The same applies to songs written in a languages when translated to another besides English. However, what I find really sad is this young lady did a great job and even had the sound track turned off near the end! IDK why, but it appeared one of the judges had the music cut off, leaving her to sing the rest acapella! I believe it threw her off for a moment, she quickly got it together and finished with outstanding vocals. So, putting aside whether this Russian young lady was singing with a "proper" french accent or not... How about acknowledging the fact that she has a very good voice? Why is it so important for some people to criticize instead of complement? BTW, do you have any idea how hard that song is to sing? May peace be with you all... 💚

Je cherchais l’interprétation de Serge Lama et je suis tombé sur .... Perso, à part Serge L., aucune autre n'a su suspendre le temps, même pas Lara F., j'ai été scotché. Accents, pas d'accents, bonne diction ou non: Grand Grand merci à Marta, la vidéo tourne en boucle je ne m'en lasse pas !!! Un duo avec Serge Lama ?? .... Merci Marta !!! pour ce moment de sincérité.
I am also French and the Russian accent is one of the most beautiful and one I really enjoy. The singer has a very beautiful voice and more importantly, the really interpret the song, she put all her soul in it and for a song like that it is very important, because it tells a story and it's clear she sings AND tells a story. Very well done :)
