When Michael Nylander invited a young 19-year-old Nicklas Backstrom to his house in Washington DC over a decade ago, little did he realize he was starting a strong friendship between Backstrom and his young son William.

To be fair, Backstrom tends to make this sort of stuff "difficult." He's generally very straight to the point and no nonsense with the media, and will either give the death stare or snark back at stupid questions, comments, etc. He really doesn't like the attention, which is why he's usually very happy to let Ovechkin take the spotlight.

Save the cap for a decent backup and some defensive depth, you have two superstar centres...
