- Ganike Soppu /Black Nightshade Leaves are rich in antioxidants and help in strengthening the liver of a person. Tambuli tastes Great!!
* Approx. preparation & cooking time: 20 min
* Serves 3 persons

* List of ingredients:
1. Ganige soppu (Ponyani) - 1 small bunch
2. Yogurt - 1 large bowl
3. Cumin seeds (Jeera) - 1 teaspoon
4. Grated coconut - 1 small cup
5. Oil - 1 teaspoon
6. Salt - 2 teaspoons
* Ingredients for seasoning:
1. Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Urad dal - 1 teaspoon
3. Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
4. Curry leaves - 6
5. Red chilli pieces - 4
* Method of preparation:
1. In a small wok/frying pan, take 1 teaspoon oil, add 1 teaspoon jeera and fry until they turn aromatic.
2. Next, add 1 small bunch cleaned and washed ganike soppu and fry on low flame for about 10 seconds.
3. Now, turn off the heat, add 1 small cup grated coconut and toss all the ingredients.
4. Add all the ingredients into a mixer jar and grind to make a smooth paste.
5. Take 1 large bowl of yogurt and pour into a small vessel. Add the ground paste into it, also add 2 teaspoons salt and mix.
6. Finally, add the seasoning and enjoy tasty tambuli with cooked rice.
* Seasoning preparation:
1. In a small wok, add 1 teaspoon urad dal, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 6 curry leaves, 4 red chilli pieces, 1 tablespoon oil and fry until the seeds start to splutter.
2. Add the seasoning to the tambuli and mix well before it is ready to be served.
