The Companion App says my Oticon Hearing Aids (maybe 5-6 years old) are not compatible and the old Oticon On App does not work anymore. My Audioligist stop either working with Oticon are got out of the business. She was in Texas and I am now in Florida. How do I get my aids to connect with the App. These issues should have been solved before releasing the app.
I can’t get onto the other features like to booster , equaliser , environment etc
OK, but how about the differences between a Samsung and an iPhone.
The companion is worthless. Takes minutes of fussing to connect, then they drop out and you have to go through the whole process again. If you're in a restaurant or store and want to switch from general to comfort, forget about it. You'll just lose connection entirely. Never had trouble either Oticon On. My aids are only a year and a half old.
I tried to pair my hearing Aid with the Oticon companion app and it says my hearing aid is not compatible with the App. I have Oticon hearing Aid. it is older, like at least 5 years old, and it is still working great. The problem is a cannot pair my hearing aid with the new up. What should I do.?
Agree, the companion is almost worthless. Upon using the app it constantly does not recognize your aids. That requires deleting the app, going to the App Store and downloading one. Ive gone through this process many times to the point of frustration. Oticon claims the app has been updated but I find no evidence of that. I’ve been to my audiologist for ‘calibration’ but the app reverts to the same as before. The rating of the app in the Apple App Store gives you some indication of its performance- TWO STARS!
Everytime she puts them in in the morning we have to raise the volume on both sides. How can the settings be saved?

What is diifference between streaming and surroundings in the TV Adapter/Music? which one do you use? Thank you
streaming is sound from the tv. surround is sound from the real life.
Not just that, but when it connects finally the programs don’t show up
I have a android phone and I can't connect to Bluetooth where I can take calls or anything like that
I can connect to Bluetooth but the problem is when I listen to music or doing a call, the hearing aids doesn't word properly, basically the sound stay cutting out all the time. My model is the oticon zircon 1 and my smartphone is the MotoG23 using Android 13. As a workaround for that I am using the Connect Clip, but really would like to use the hearing aids without the connect clip.
The Oticon Companion worked fine with my old iPhoneSE but now I have switched to a Nokia C32 Android phone it doesn't work at all. Pairs the hearing aids, can see volume control, but on sound from phone calls. Oticon suggests purchase of an additional "clip" which costs more than the phone. Very disappointing.
The new app says that it can’t connect to my hearing aids but my hearing aids are made by Oticon. Is there something I need to do? My hearing aids are an older Oticon model. Maybe six years old? The app says that my hearing aids are not compatible with the app.
Do you still have an open line of communication with your audiologist? You may be best to connect with them. If not we can do some more digging.
@@HearSoundly I contacted her and was told that I needed to bring them in to have a software update performed on them to become compatible with the new app.

This app sucks. I never had connection problems with the old app. Why did they screw it up?
I totally agree. The old one was better, much better. I had to go to the Audiologist to get the hearing aids upgraded and my hearing aids are not even a year old yet. Now when my Iphone rings, it no longer rings in my ear. No longer hands free.
@@dianned-sewpreciousemb sometimes I have to turn my phone off and on again several times to get both hearing aids to connect. Why did they have to screw it up
Why are you always talking about Apple in the tutorials? Do they pay you for it??
If you have iOS 17, the app may not be fully functional. They are not addressing that issue.
This New app is soooooo slow!! The old one was much faster! So frustrating
