It’s like an IC CE and first gen bluebird vision had a baby. I love how the DTs sound. It’s unfortunate we can’t have diesel’s like this anymore. Thanks EPA.
I love the DT engines even the early maxxforce version. They’re very solid and reliable. Can’t say the same for later versions and brand new diesel engines unfortunately.
Wait a sec i remember this type of bus, thats the one that back in Elementary school when our international 3800 school bus 10 broke down we used this one as a spare. Now in Painesville Ohio The district are mainly owned by IC CE's and with 1 First Generation IC CE i miss some these busses even 10😢
@@IceTheFanDude2379Maxxforce 7’s wouldn’t do nearly as well as the DT466e (would break down a lot) and Maxxforce DT will have typical emissions problems. If IC and bluebird kept making these they wouldn’t be nearly as reliable. Old diesel’s are the best. The EPA ruined every diesel they touched

Great video and that is my fav bus of course.
Awesome video!

I actually have a video of one of my District’s 2007 IC CE300 handi buses. The engine sounds exactly like this.

Another great one! Doubt I'll ever see one of these as I don’t think there are any districts that have em up in this part of the state.
Imagine a first Gen IC CE hood on a Thomas international.
The bus company I work for only had one.
My district has ‘04-‘05 SBCV 3300’s, but being in CO, our units have jackknife doors.
when will you do a backseat 2025 ic ce video?
Nice video I'm those models are unique they didn't make alot of those you should film the outside of the bus before starting
Backseat ride? Would love to hear the axle 😮💨
Me too. It appears it’s too quiet to hear at the front.
I got question have you driven A3?
He probably didn’t
Do you have any idea if these are the last active SBCVs in service in Michigan?
@@BigJoe21211 Honestly I’m not quite sure, I’d have to do some research.
How did you think it rode and drove?
@@IceTheFanDude2379 I absolutely loved it! It reminded me so much of a 1st gen CE when driving it. I think it’s my 2nd favorite bus to drive now.
@ I wonder how these would do with a maxxforce. I can imagine it would be amazing!
@@IceTheFanDude2379 MaxxForce was no match for the DT466E. The DT466E was much more reliable and lasted way longer, they’re work horses.

@@IceTheFanDude2379 macforce engines are garbage thanks to the emission systems on them, a pre emission DT466 is the way to go or T444E
