Hi Amber! Just wanted to thank you for the December vlogs. They have really helped me through a difficult month. I am facing major surgery on January 6 and your vlogs (as well as a few others) helped me to focus on the good in each day as opposed to the dread - especially the day of ‘Lily’s Miracle”. Knowing I have some future vlogs from you to look forward to in my recovery is wonderful - but no pressure - do what makes you happy - that’s one thing I try to remember always! My word for 2023 is “Transformative” as I am hoping this surgery will transform my current health into a much better one and I can get back the energy and ambitions I once had. Thank you again and have a very happy and healthy New Year!!
Cheryl, I hope you don't mind me jumping in here. I just wanted to tell you I will put you on my prayer list as you face surgery and for the recovery time. I had major surgery 11/28, the Monday after Thanksgiving so being able to watch Vlogmases was a wonderful distraction during the healing process when I had so many restrictions. My 6 weeks of restrictions are up January 9! Please know I will be praying for you as the Spirit moves me!
@@LeiMaier thank you so much! My very restricted recovery time is about the same 6-8 weeks. I am just hoping I’ll be able to knit! I have yarn wound and ready to cast on for lots of projects. I am so happy your surgery went well and you are almost at the end! Thank you again for your kindness and prayers.
So much I want to say, all good stuff :). You could vlog parts of your day that inspire you or delight you, but put it out just once a week or so, perhaps not as onerous that way. Vlogging your days, parts of your days, will be a gold mine of memories especially at the age of your kids now, as they will leave the nest sooner than you think. They grow and fly so quickly. Part of life, bittersweet. I love your word of the year - delight. I haven’t done a word of the year before but I’ve been feeling particularly blessed lately. Part of that has been watching/listening to you as you embrace, relish, enjoy being a home maker. I realize I am blessed to have a home to clean, a bed to make, a husband to cherish - I have an abundant life and a wonderful spouse. Thank you for the gift of insight. You are a delight Amber. Thank you for sharing your light. Blessings for 2023. PS: that was a beautiful coffee shop and glad you found a yarn to finish of the prayer shawl. I’m sure your neighbour will feel your love surround her as she wears it 🥰🙏
Hello Isabel! Oh my, how I know how fast they grow. My youngest turns 17 in February. I was watching home videos of my kids from when they were toddlers, and I was literally bawling. I'm so glad we made so many memories, and I'm also so glad that I was able to be at home with them. Your words are so kind and are so very encouraging to me. Thank you so much!
I’m settling down with a cup of tea, my knitting and I’m going to catch up on your lovely vlogs 🥰✨💕 Thank you so much Amber for the time it takes you to record/edit and share - I really value and appreciate you 💕✨😘🙏 God Bless xxxx
Amber, so glad your going to continue doing these vlogs. It’s always so depressing after Christmas when there are no vlogs. Thank you to you and your family for sharing your beautiful lives with us. Your a joy to watch. 💜
Wasn’t the weather just beautiful today? I didn’t even need a jacket. But tomorrow rain again. Next week I saw a day near 60. Up and down. No wonder people are Sick. I’m so going on a road trip to check out that beautiful coffee shop and store next to it. Lovely items, I spied! I’m so excited to see you more frequently this winter, as your vlogs just bring me joy. My world for 2023 is commit. I find that commitment to projects, friendships, health, saving money, improving my mental stability….seems that commit is the word on which to focus. I like your word, delight…your friend will be happy that you chose a word. I’m sure that you will find every day something that makes you feel delight. Even if it is the warm doggie kiss, or the smile from your family’s faces…or even that first cup of coffee on a chilly day. Perfect word, Amber. Until the next time….enjoy. Happy New Year. Let’s all have a great one.❤
Wising you and yours a peaceful, gentle and kinder year. Thank you for the time you spent bringing some calmness and joy in a very hectic and often stressful holiday period. So happy to hear you may be blogging more in the future. I never miss spending time with you (that’s how if feels somehow) as you remind me to really embrace and notice how special the simple things like the birds chirping, the sound of snow crunching as we walk and the peaceful rhythm of our needles when we need.
This is my first time commenting, but I wanted to say how lovely your vlogs were! They definitely captured the cosy and meaningful moments of December, and have inspired me to look through that same lens in my own life! May the Lord bless your new year and all the "delightful" things you see!
I love the word you chose. Gratitude was the word that came to me most days in 2021 which helped me focus on how much we had to be grateful for to God, I don’t have a word yet for 2022 but think scripture is a good place to seek the inspiration.
I look forward to seeing you vlogging during the winter.... it's always such a difficult time for so many people and you bring such joy and delight! I think that's a great word! Thank you as always for sharing and wishing you and your family a very Blessed New Year!
Thank you for all the Advent Vlogs. I think you are correct in carrying on in future with vlogs instead of podcasts. The prayer shawl is great and the mittens are beautifully made. The walks in that special area are stunning.
Well this has been Delightful! I am grateful u share ur moments, ur faith, ur energy, ur insight. How refreshing. I often get a 'motto' for the new year. Whether it's a scripture or an expression that helps me focus on the good & progressing forward. I have a lovely coffee shop in my small town where I can comfortably hang out & knit, crochet or cross-stitch as I like. It's very pleasant away from home. I have ideas, if not goals or resolutions, for the new year. Things I want to accomplish big & little to keep progressing in a forward motion. Thank u for being like the little engine that could & sharing ur encouragement for the new yr.
Thank you for another beautiful video Amber! I love your word for the new year-it just encompasses everything! Looking forward to seeing more of you in the new year-blessings for a great one!❤
Such a lovely video Amber! I tell myself the darkness of winter doesn't bother me but I'm learning that I do feel more like me (and a bit more joyful lol) in the spring. Summer here is quite hot so I'm not a huge fan but the spring does wonders for my soul! I know what you mean though about vlogging making you feel more present. I felt that way too. The vintage coffeehouse was so beautiful! And I didn't expect it to be so large when Brad and Lily opened the doors! Your shawl turned out beautiful, and I'm envious of those cozy kittens! Looking forward to more vlogs in the future ❤️
So happy to hear you plan on continuing your vlogs! You are an inspiration to many, myself included. I love all your outdoor scenery and find God’s creation so beautiful and soothing to my soul. I may have to find myself a word for encouragement in 2023. I do have a few “things” I plan on doing around the house and that’s about it for setting goals for myself. Wishing you and your family a blessed 2023 and look forward to your next vlog.
YOU are a delight, Amber! I love choosing a word of the year. My word for this year is value/worth. I look up a verse from the bible to focus on that uses the word for a month. It centers me and begins my daily quiet time. I'm so glad you'll be doing more vlogs - Happy 2023 to you and your family!
Yes to more vlogmas ! Love the background music and the sunrises and sets, the cooking etc.nice to be with you and family as well as with a knitter! Thanks for all your work .i know someday you’ll be glad to review these especially as the kids get older and leave😢
I saw those thrummed mitts at the start of your vlog and was so excited for you. The way this winter started,, they will serve you well. I came to my sister's in Erie b4 Christmas which was lovely with family & friends. I'm still here because we all came down with brutal colds & have been in various conditions. My brother in law seems to have it less severely than my sister and I. Watching your vlog started my day off so nicely. Thank you and best wishes for health, happiness and peace in the new year. 🙏
TH-cam recommended your channel to me and I’m so grateful for it! The first video I watched and I subscribed within the first 5 minutes; I really love how your videos feel so warm and inviting. Much love from here in Indiana ❤
Amber, I’m so pleased to hear you’re planning to do more vlogs! Definitely something to look forward to. I’m in the thinking stage of carefully choosing a special word for 2023. Your fix for finishing off the prayer shawl was perfect!
Hi Amber, What a wonderfully inspirational video this was, just what I needed today. You have a really good eye with your outdoor video footage. The place near your home is so beautiful and serene. Love your mittens, they are going to keep your hands nice and toasty. Hope you'll keep us up on your progress. I would love to see more vlogs from you but only if they make you happy. The shawl that you made for your neighbor is such a pretty color. Take care and God bless
I loved your Vlogmas and would very much enjoy any other vlogs you would like to make. I can sympathize with your winter struggles. I lived in Ohio for many years and the long, grey winters seemed endless!
Amber I, too, enjoyed your Vlogmas and find joy and inspiration in all your videos. I love the way you share your faith with us. Stay healthy. Happy New Year🎉
Dear Amber, You are my Delight with this episode! As I age, recalling my fondest memories doesn't happen as often as I would like. Then as I watched this, I remembered one winter walking along a snowy bank above the creek which led to my horse's barn where he lived with his friends. Around the bend, a herd of deer splashed through the creek, up the snowy bank and over, through, and under the fence to the farm field just beside me. My real life felt cinematic in that moment, and thanks to you, I enjoyed that memory this morning. And remembered what thrumming is called before you said it. May God Bless you and give you Peace this New Year and always. 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
Hi Amber: I have not watched all your vlogmas series. I really enjoyed your advent skein vlog. I saved it to consult. I enjoy seeing your knitting and hearing about your friends and faith. Have a delightful year ahead.❤
Great to see you. I appreciate your focus on spiritual things and willingness to share, it is very encouraging. I started a prayer shaw for a friend recently diagnosed with cancer. Although I don't need yarn, I have ordered a few skeins appropriate for chemo caps. I grew up in NE Ohio and have fond memories of my thrummed mittens - of course I had no clue what they were back then, but they were warm!!
Happy New Year! You do an amazing job at creating a cozy and inviting vlogmas! I am the same … no word for the year UNLESS the Lord places one on my heart. Prayerfully considering generosity for this year. This will only be the second time in my lifetime I will have a specific word. I look forward to watching your continued vlogs and podcasts.
I will look forward to more vlogs - I love your artistic eye and appreciation of the little things. My daughter goes to Pitt and we live on the other side of the state. As I watched your Vlogmas sunrises and outdoor views, I always felt like I was getting a glimpse of what her day was like. The Friday evening you were driving through Pittsburgh for the Christmas party, she was leaving the city to come home for break. She'll be going back next week, and I bet your next vlog will be after her return, and will once again help me feel more connected to her.
Hi Amber, Your vlogs are wonderful! Years ago, when my family was living in Western PA, I was really struggling with the lack of sunshine ( I grew up in So Cal). I learned from the locals that the area is second only to Seattle for overcast days. I was amazed, but it helped to have confirmation that it wasn't just my imagination - there was a significant lack of sunshine. Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family!!
Loved your word of the year ❤ Today (31st) I will complete the Bible in a year using the Five Day Readings scheme. I don’t normally make new year resolutions but this has been an amazing blessing. Not always easy but I learnt so much and feel a great sense of accomplishment. Xxx
Hi Carole! That is a huge accomplishment. I have never been able to complete a Bible in a Year plan. I feel too stuck. I like to bounce around and do different things, so a plan like that always became just a chore and I didn't like looking at my Bible reading as a chore!
@@alovelyyarn yes I completely agree - I have not done any other studies or Bible journaling this year and I'm glad to be moving on. But I'm also glad I did it - the five day plan really helped when I got distracted by something shiny (currently drop spindling ha ha)
This was such a wonderful video. Perfect for the in-between days! Love the scenery that you shared during your walks and the prayer shawl is beautiful! Take care and Happy New Year! Kris K from Connecticut 🥳🧶
Hi Amber! I have always enjoyed your podcasts and knitting chats but I have found solace in your vlogmas this year. It’s been a really tough year for me and my family so I thank you for sharing your life and faith. I just wanted you to know that what you do here makes a difference. No pressure for more vlogs in the future but I’m sure glad you are planning on more 🤗 Happy New Year to you and your family!
Yes to more vlogs from you!! I really enjoy them💛 What you said about the delight you find in nature is so close to my heart. When I take A walk in nature I often say to whoever is with me: Gods glory is all around us, you just need to open your eyes 😍 Have a deLIGHTfull 2023 🌟
Thanks again Amber for flogging! I enjoy it so much! Thrummed mitts are on my list too. I’m in Vermont and can relate to the cold and gray. It gets old but I do enjoy the cozy hygge of winter! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Amber I'm excited to hear you may keep up the vlogging.. your vlogmas is one of my favorites and I miss it when it's over! But of course, no pressure. I often have done a "word" for the year but more in the sense of God giving me a guiding scripture for that year. It has proven usually very fruitful. Your thrummed mitten look amazing.. seems like a sweet gift to yourself in this season after Christmas, a luxury to stick your hands in. May they bring lots of delight!
Loved every minute,,Amber! So glad u are going to vlog,,,in winter,,, Gosh,,we lost all our snow,,,still piles of it,,but been raining all day yesterday and going to today,,! I like the snow to stay,,,! Happy new year,, Elaine🏘🏘😍 Those mitts will be cozy,,,,
Amber I too love a clean kitchen 😂. As I said before I would love your view 😊. Such a cosy episode. We had one sunny day in between grey pouring rain & it was uplifting for a day. Snowy walks yes please 🙏🏻. Happy New year to you & your wonderful family from my family 🥳🧶🇬🇧🎊
Hi Zena! We had those two beautiful sunny days and now we have started our week straight of rain and clouds! Oh my! I'm actually sitting here responding to comments with my light therapy lamp on. Haha. It mimics the sun and does help me a bit. Of course, the blue skies and bright sun are more effective, but I have to do what I can do during the winter months. Happy New Year to your and yours!
I don’t do resolutions but I do like to reflect on how I feel at the end of the year and pick a word (i found this through the bujo community years ago) and make intentions for the coming year ✨
Hi Amber. When you were speaking about a single word for the year, the Lord put Delight in my mind. Joy has been my word for the past few years. We went through a horribly hard financial time from 2007-2011. During that time I confess that I lost my joy and had a hard time seeing the goodness of God. My husband faithfully spoke the attributes of God over me for several weeks and I came out of the darkness of discouragement. I fought to recover my joy and treasure it now. I think that delight and joy work together. When we delight in the Lord, we find joy in His presence. I have loved your blogs this December. I feel like I have shared time with a Christian sister. I will look forward to your occasional clogs in 2023. Thank you for sharing your life, love and your family with us in Vlogmas.
I think it's great you plan to vlog more. I also enjoy your regular episodes with all of your fiber crafts. I really love your word for the year. I may have to use it too. Happy new year!
Thank you so much for vlogmas! There’s something so uplifting about watching you and as others have said more vlogs would be lovely if you are able. Hoping you have a delightful New Year ❤
Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family, you are a joy to watch. Yes please continue vlogmas, it's such a great start to my day. Thank you so much. ☘
The algorithm seems to have worked in my favor by bringing me your vlog. I look forward to sharing delight in the Lord and wonderful wooly things with you in 2023!
I want to add my delight and encouragemrnt for your decision to keep vlogging! I think Jan and Feb are the hardest months and so I will look forward to haviing you present fir those months! I have been led to start spinning again and I think it will be the perfect cozy activity for these months too. I will start with the beautiful fleece I dyed with goldenrod and black walnuts in Oct and Nov. See you in 2023!
Hello! Thank you so much. That's so kind of you to say. And, yes, January and February (and even March) can be very challenging months. I would also like to get back to my spinning. It's been a long time since I've spun anything at all.
Yay for more vlogstyle videos, I’ve loved them!! I also found doing my own ‘festive vlogs’ that, yes, it takes time to set up the camera and stuff, it makes me appreciate all little moments throughout the day and week 😊 Happy New Year to you and yours 🎉❤
Happy New Year! Your shawl turned out beautifully. My daughter and I started a pair of thrummed mittens several years ago and never finished them. Perhaps this will be the winter we do.
I'm so excited to be making them. They are a bit tedious since you have to stop often to put in the thrum, but they are going to be so warm and cozy as well as necessary for my winter walks!
New to watching. Found you during one of our loadshedding stints in South Africa. I'm sure by now you've made a plan with that cast off row on your project, but another solution would be to pull out two rows and reknit them. The wool stretches while knitting and you often then have enough second time around
Happy to hear you’re going to pop on with a vlog👏👏 Enjoyed all of your vlogs , never missed one. I just did a quiz with Day springs and my word came up “Presence “ never picked a word or a resolution. We shall see how I do with this word. Happy New Year to you and your family.
Hi Amber, I hope you do decide to continue the vlogs…. I would think it’s sort of like a visual journal of your coming and goings…..your knitting, cooking, crafts, coffee shops, rides, family, doggies, etc…… keep it going😉. I’m sure other listeners would agree…Happy New Year, gayle in MN.
Hi Amber thanks for sharing I love seeing your local area , I wish we had snow it’s cold wet and grey here in the uk .I did manage a Boxing Day swim I the lake which was wonderful and made me feel grateful for the area we live in . I’ve found this December the vlogs I have enjoyed have been gentle and focused on the small things which bring joy so that’s something I want to take forward.I don’t do resolutions but like plans and goals and I do love a list and pretty stationery so love a planner .I want to focus on what I have this year and use my time and resources better .Happy New from a very wet Lake District Uk.
I love your plan to focus on what you have and be more responsible with time and resources. I'm actually planning on focusing on the same thing. It's so easy to just replace things without thought or whittle away hours on meaningless things (especially with these phones we now have!), so I definitely feel the need to be more mindful of those things.
Amber, I really enjoyed your vlogs. Looking forward to seeing more. I used to pick a word and then stopped for many reasons. I love your prayer shawl. I would love to make one for a friend who lost her son right before Christmas. Happy New Year 🎆 to you and your family.
Hi Lisa! Oh, that's so heartbreaking to hear about your friend. You should definitely make one for her. It would be a huge blessing to her, and I'm sure it would make her feel very cared for and loved.
Amber, so glad you are continuing with your vlogs because you are really good at it. I really enjoyed watching your vlogmas. Looking forward to your next episode. Happy New Year!
It was so fun to see your scenery on your walks. So beautiful! It is raining here today and we lost any snow we had. Glad you find yarn to bind of your shawl! It is beautiful!
Hi Jean! We have a couple of really beautiful days this past week. We just started into a whole week or rain and clouds though so all of our snow is now gone as well.
Happy New Year Amber! I’ve loved your Vlogmas series and also loved today’s vlog. I’m so happy making them has brought you joy. Looking forward to watching future vlogs. Much love from the UK xxx
Hi Amber! Happy New Year! I do not do the resolutions but I do like to set goals for the year. I don’t always meet my goals and sometimes they change or I do not meet my goals but I give myself grace. I feel like as long as we are all striving to do better we are doing good for ourselves.
Amber I would love to see more blogs from you!! So nice and Christian based which I love!!! Delight is a wonderful word. Today is new years day!!! I'm not sure about a word yet. Many blessings to you and your family in 2023
When you came on the vlog to talk, my first thought upon seeing your face was- Amber is glowing! Then you told us why you are so happy. Please, please continue to vlog as it fits in your and your families life. I have a very similar walking place only, fortunately, it is NOT snow covered.
Thank you for your vlogging,Amber. I so enjoy them. and you have a wonderful family! I do not make resolutions….but I love the fresh sheet to write on for the new year. After listening to you I may need to choose “ delight”…..I do not delight in the Lord enough.Thank you again Amber for all your hard work.
I was so excited to see your vlog pop up when I opened youtube. 😊 My daughter and I truly enjoyed watching your vlogmas! Your prayer shawl turned out beautifully! I’m sure it will be a blessing and a comfort. Love your word for the new year. I do not make resolutions either, but have a mental list of things I want to focus on. I hope to be more intentional in all aspects in the new year-my relationships with the Lord and with family especially. I homeschool my kids, and my oldest is graduating this year! So hard to believe! I want to treasure every moment! Happy New Year!
Hello! I'm so glad you enjoyed the vlogmas episodes! Regarding your children... it goes by so quickly, doesn't it? My youngest turns 17 in February, and I can hardly believe it.
So happy to see this in between vlog. I've been on Vlogmas withdraw! Not really, but it has been a fun December and I've so enjoyed meeting you through this. I use this in between time to set up my journal and reading plan for the coming year as well as set some knitting goals, spiritual goals and health goals. I think of goals as different from resolutions because with goals I have an agenda and set objectives mapped out to achieve those goals. One thing I want to learn this year is how to make sour dough bread. Several of you Vlogmasers shared that skill and it intrigued me! I had knit thrummed mittens many years ago and still have them, though I think I've lost the pattern since then. I might make a new pair ... wouldn't red wool with white roving be perfect for a Valentine's gift? Those little tufts of thrum look like little hearts to me! I have picked one word focus in past years but to date, I've not been given a word for 2023. Your "delight" is such a good word. Perhaps I'll be blessed with a last minute prompt for a word ... if so, I'll share! God bless!
Red thrummed gloves with white fiber would be absolutely perfect!!! I also really like how you intentionally think about and set goals for your year. You talked about your reading plan... I also set a reading goal for each year, but I set a goal on how many books I want to read each year. This year I read 38. I think I'm going to shoot for 45 in 2023.
Hello Amber, Thank you for being you!! Thank you and your family’s authenticity and your walk with the Lord. To answer your question, I do not choose a word for my year, except for this year. For the past several months the Holy Spirit has been bringing to mind, “His Bride”. I understand the Bride is the church, but I am also His bride as an individual woman. So I have been thinking, praying, and studying about being the Lord’s bride and what does it truly look like or mean for me personally to be ready for His return. I like your word, DELIGHT!! Delighting in the Lord daily!! I look forward to hearing those things that the Lord brings before you in this New Year! Blessings over you and your family each and every day as you walk with Him.
Hi Tamara! Thank you so much for your very kind and encouraging words to me. Also, that's a really good phrase to focus on. It keeps one eternally focused!
I have an Ashford Traveler too! I have a Wooly Winder on it. Love it! Vlogmas has put a your time/life in perspective. Helps you be appreciative of those special moments. Which help me to look at my life and appreciate it. Thank you! Delight is an excellent word.
Hello Amber!! Happy New Year!! So happy you are going to continue blogging… I really think you found your niche. What was the name of the town you visited… those shops look interesting. The coffee shop and antique shop would be a place my daughter and I might like to visit! Thank you for sharing your beautiful days with all of us!
Thank you so much! I do have fun with it. So those shops are in the town of Butler. :) It's a cute little town that has really experienced quite a bit of growth in the last several years.
I love your vlogs so much. I was so jealous of your gorgeous walking trail. I walk my 2 golden retrievers 3 times a day and my hands are what get cold. Can you share the pattern for the thrummed mittens? Happy New Year to you and your family, you are a delight! I have a gluten free sour dough starter growing! Can bake in 2 days
Hi Holly! Thank you so much! I would love to hear about how your GF sourdough starter goes! That is the next thing I want to try. I will add the thrummed mittens pattern to my video description.
Have you ever tried a light therapy lamp? I recommend them to my clients with SAD. The Verilux Happy Light seems to work well for many and you could sit by it in the morning when you read your Bible!
Hi Luanne! Yes, I've been using one for probably seven years. In fact, I'm sitting in front of mine right now as I respond to comments. Thank you so much for that recommendation!!!
Happy New Year Amber! What a gift to me it would be if you did more vlogging. No pressure, though. I have thought about doing videos, but I have never started because of the commitment and the fear that I would begin to dread it or feel the pressure when I would not be in the mood to do it. Delight, what a beautiful word that is and it even has a beautiful sound. Nature is so amazing and every time I am in it I think how absolutely wonderful God is. He created all of it and us to be able to appreciate it. Your mittens will be incredibly warm. Isn't it amazing how God gave us sheep, etc to use their fiber for warmth, and humans the brains to utilize the fiber in the best way possible. Anyway..........delight in each day.
Yes, working hard to delight in each day. Some days that is easier than others! Thank you so much for watching and for leaving me such encouraging words.
Thank you again for your kindness and prayers.
praying for you Cheryl Jackson...hugs...
Hang in there. I too hope you can knit in recovery. It’s the best therapy, as is community which we find here 🤗
@@Izzyic7505 thank you so much!

The weather was gorgeous!!! Now we're back to rain and clouds! Oh well! Commit is a great word as well! That encompasses a lot.
I am a new viewer and I have fallen in love with your ģentle chats, your lovely family and your warmth. Wishing you every happiness for 2023.
Thank you so very much, Gill! That means a lot!
Thank you so much, Annette!
Looking forward to seeing more of you, Amber! Thanks for sharing your world. It brings me a lot of joy and inspiration.
Thank you so much for this encouragement!
Hello Amber! Your vlogs and knitting podcasts are a delight to me. I love the simplicity and how you show your love and obedience to the Lord.
Awww, thank you so much, Laura!
Thank you so much, Rosemary!
Thank you, Mara!
Thank you, Mariel! And Happy New Year to you and yours!
Just like sitting down with a friend to chat.❤️ I appreciate you sharing so much of your life and your family with us. Happiest New Year!
Awww, thank you so much, Jillian!
Yes to more vlogmas ! Love the background music and the sunrises and sets, the cooking etc.nice to be with you and family as well as with a knitter! Thanks for all your work .i know someday you’ll be glad to review these especially as the kids get older and leave😢
Hi Kathie! Thank you so much for watching and always taking time to say hello and offer encouragement!
Thank you so much, Bonnie! I'm sorry to hear that you've all felt so poorly. That just comes with this time of year, doesn't it?
TH-cam recommended your channel to me and I’m so grateful for it! The first video I watched and I subscribed within the first 5 minutes; I really love how your videos feel so warm and inviting. Much love from here in Indiana ❤
Thank you so much, Josie!
Amber, I’m so pleased to hear you’re planning to do more vlogs! Definitely something to look forward to. I’m in the thinking stage of carefully choosing a special word for 2023.
Your fix for finishing off the prayer shawl was perfect!
Thank you so much! And, yes, that yarn combo was so perfect to finish the bind-off. I was so pleased!
Hi Amber,
What a wonderfully inspirational video this was, just what I needed today.
Amber
I, too, enjoyed your Vlogmas and find joy and inspiration in all your videos. I love the way you share your faith with us. Stay healthy. Happy New Year🎉
Thank you so much!
Thank you for taking us with you on your journey! All the best to you and your family in the New Year! Hi from Saskstoon Canada.♥️♥️♥️♥️
I have loved your Advent blogs so much! Thank you for the time you invested! I look forward to more videos from you!
Thank you, Deborah!
Oh my goodness! What an amazing, beautiful memory!!!
I enjoy your vlogs and podcasts so much!! So more is always better!
Thank you, Theresa!
Hi Amber:
I have not watched all your vlogmas series. I really enjoyed your advent skein vlog. I saved it to consult. I enjoy seeing your knitting and hearing about your friends and faith. Have a delightful year ahead.❤
Oh thank you!
What a wonderful vlog! Merry Christmas and may the Lord bless you and your family abundantly in 2023!
Beautiful knits and gorgeous winter wonderland! Happy New Year!
Hi Tina! That shawl will be a big blessing to your friend!
You're a delight, Amber! Thanks for the vlogs. All the best for the new year!
loved that store with the quilts and looove the plant store since i looove plants..
Yes, me too!
I’m glad you’re going to keep vloging. I like the shorter episodes.
Thank you, Patsy!
When I take A walk in nature I often say to whoever is with me: Gods glory is all around us, you just need to open your eyes 😍
Have a deLIGHTfull 2023 🌟
It really is all around us, Thea! That's one of the reasons I feel so at peace when I'm out in nature.
Hi Martha! Ah, yes, I have multiple Scriptures that have become "life anthems" over the years. What a blessing to have the Word so accessible.
Loved every minute,,Amber!
So glad u are going to vlog,,,in winter,,,
Gosh,,we lost all our snow,,,still piles of it,,but been raining all day yesterday and going to today,,!
I like the snow to stay,,,!
Happy new year,,
Elaine🏘🏘😍
Those mitts will be cozy,,,,
Hi Elaine. Thank you so much! Happy New Year!
@@alovelyyarn hurray for knitting & crochet 🧶😃
Thank you, Dana! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Thank you so much for vlogmas! There’s something so uplifting about watching you and as others have said more vlogs would be lovely if you are able. Hoping you have a delightful New Year ❤
That is so kind of you to say, Debbie. Thank you!
Happy New Year to you and your beautiful family, you are a joy to watch. Yes please continue vlogmas, it's such a great start to my day. Thank you so much. ☘
Thank you so much, Mary!
Thank you for your thoughtfulness and embodiment of Christian joy 😊. Such a beautiful area you live in!
Thank you so much, Jackie.
The algorithm seems to have worked in my favor by bringing me your vlog. I look forward to sharing delight in the Lord and wonderful wooly things with you in 2023!
Awww, that's so great! I'm glad you found my channel and are enjoying it! Happy New Year!
Really enjoyed your vlogmas this year, thank you for sharing your days and your lovely family.
Thank you so much, Melissa!
I would love you to continue the vlogs! Just whatever you can manage would be so appreciated.
I don’t usually set resolutions. I do like goals though.
The coffee shop looks so cozy and welcoming...if I lived near by I would go there everyday! Thanks for another so enjoyable video!
It is a beautiful space for sure! I would go there a lot too if it was closer! Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks for the content Amber! That's a beautiful shawl I really like the color.
Thank you so much, Judy!
Yes, it helps us to see things a bit differently, doesn't it? Happy New Year!
Hi Sue! Thank you so much! And Happy New Year to you and yours!
Thank you for your vlogmas! It is great! Happy New Year!
Thank you, Gayle! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Happy New Year! Looking forward to your videos in 2023.
Thank you, Barbara! Happy New Year!
I have SO enjoyed each and every Vlogmas. I look forward to following you this upcoming year if you decide to continue. Thank you!!
Thank you, Melissa!
Thankyou for the time you spend on Vlogmas and for sharing your faith. Love your word of the year. Happy New Year!🥳
Thank you so much for watching, Denise!
It would be a huge blessing to her, and I'm sure it would make her feel very cared for and loved.
amber - i'd be DELIGHTed if you'd continue :). happy new year to you and your family 🥳!
Amber, so glad you are continuing with your vlogs because you are really good at it. I really enjoyed watching your vlogmas. Looking forward to your next episode. Happy New Year!
Awww, thanks so much, Kathy!
Thank you bunches, Claire!
Hi Amber! Happy New Year!
I do not do the resolutions but I do like to set goals for the year. I don’t always meet my goals and sometimes they change or I do not meet my goals but I give myself grace. I feel like as long as we are all striving to do better we are doing good for ourselves.
I agree, Sabrina! I always like to allow for flexibility.
Amber I would love to see more blogs from you!! So nice and Christian based which I love!!! Delight is a wonderful word. Today is new years day!!! I'm not sure about a word yet. Many blessings to you and your family in 2023
I mean vlogs
Amber, you and your family are a delight! ❤ Happy New Year🎉
Thank you so much, Kathy@
Happy New Year Amber! Thank you for your December Vlogs.
Thank you, Christine! Happy New Year!
When you came on the vlog to talk, my first thought upon seeing your face was- Amber is glowing! Then you told us why you are so happy.
Please, please continue to vlog as it fits in your and your families life.
I have a very similar walking place only, fortunately, it is NOT snow covered.
Thank you so much for your encouragement, Alice!
Looking forward to more! Happy New Year 🥂
Thank you, Nancy!
Hi Susan! I think we could all work a bit harder in delighting in the Lord and His gifts, couldn't we? :)
💛💛💛
I have really enjoyed and looked forward to your blogs. I've got to learn how to make the sourdough 😊. DELIGHT
Thank you so much, Teresa!
I have an Ashford Traveler too! I have a Wooly Winder on it. Love it! Vlogmas has put a your time/life in perspective. Helps you be appreciative of those special moments. Which help me to look at my life and appreciate it. Thank you! Delight is an excellent word.
Hi Marie! I really like my little Traveller! And thank you for your encouragement and kindness!
I loved the Vlogmas and always enjoy your Christian perspective.
Thank you so much! 💓
@@alovelyyarn thank you!! My family once owned a toy store in butler 🎈
Would share what boots you wear that keep your feet warm? Thank you so much for sharing your faith. Happy New Year!♥️🎉
Happy new year
Happy new year!
I’ve been doing the “word for the year” before the book! God gave me the task when reading scriptures about our words!
Words definitely have so much power!
Can you share the mitten pattern?
Sure! I'll add it to the video description tomorrow! I already shut down my laptop and it's a bit harder to access the description from my phone.
I have really enjoyed your vlogs. Would be lovely if you carried on with this style, but do what you feel able xx
