I got one of those 5 usd lines. It takes a lot to arrive the starter kit. I got it for a new job and to use it on a flip flop burner phone. Im not gonna give my personal number on my real phone to my employer.
That makes sense to use it as a business number instead of giving out your personal number but I’m glad you got it and hopefully works out the way you wanted to
Hello Mobile includes 5G service in every plan at no additional cost - yes, even the $5/a Month UNLIMITED Talk & Text plan has it! However, if your outside of a 5G area or your phone will automatically switch to 4G LTE.
I have it on my TCL Flip Pro for the calls (as a second line). I have Boost in my Pixel for data and main number. I may call Hello Mobile to see if they can transfer the line to eSim (Pixels are capable of eSim) unless the eSim is for iPhones only.
You gotta remember is free so you can’t really do too much with free service imagine paying for it and getting those type of speeds that would be even worse but yes, the same thing but I like this five dollar plan
I currently have Mint. I asked Hello this question but I don't trust them. Do you know if video quality suffers (i.e. video quality is 480p or less) due to the lower speeds and lack of 5G? YES, Hello told me that they offer full 5G on every plan, but I don't trust that either.
That Speed Test was throttled 1/2 through because you ate the 500MB in a couple seconds lol... Those Speed test use more data the faster your speed shows... lol
@@TheOnlyName I know that’s what it says on the website, but I couldn’t get it to show 5G I think I did. I don’t even remember to be honest because they cut my phone off because I was using my number to forward calls to another number which is corny.
I've had Hello Mobile for like 5 years now here in VA and I love it. 25 a month for unlimited everything
Just got mine, love the unlimited international calls. $5
That good
What happens if you get the 5 dollar plan do they charge you if you go over the 500mb or throttle your speeds.
Looking to use my Hello Mobile as a business line… Hopefully it works out in the long run.
As long as you don’t use more than 10,000 minutes a month because if you do, they’ll suspend your service into your next billing cycle

Hello mobile is same company as QLink which offers lifeline service which caps data speeds at 1mbps also

Hello mobile has a hard cap.
Now paying $8 monthly at Tello but will go to Hello $5 with my cheap flip phone.
Yes bro, I already had this phone this plan for like six months no now seven months and I love it. It’s really affordable super affordable.
They do say on their website though that they support 5G
