- In August 2021, Indonesian singer-songwriter NIKI dropped her viral feel-good single “Every Summertime.” The song was one of four tracks NIKI contributed to the blockbuster Marvel installment Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. NIKI, who co-wrote and co-produced “Every Summertime” with her boyfriend Jacob Ray, says she was “listening to a lot of Barry White” when they cooked up the soulful track. The song has since racked up over 50 million Spotify streams.

after watching sangchi again u knew that the whole lyrics is actually makes sense and connected one and another. "dinner with your sisters and the joke kinda hurts" represents when sangchi's aunt didnt really like sangchi's father also thats why ta lo villagers didnt like him as well. the line "every year we get older and im still on your side" represents how sangchi's father didnt get older and still on sangchi's mother side eventho he died at the and of the movie. you know everything is just like connected together. and i can tell that niki is a genius for making this song. i also had my first karaoke singing this song lmao
