For me, the Philippine Madrigal Singers is "Perfection." And so, this song should be removed from its repertoire because the parts of the "Queens of the Night" are extremely demanding for these three less developed soprano soloists of the Madz. The soloists for Mozart's Queen of the Night are sung only by accomplished operatic coloraturas. Sadly, the vibrato of the first soprano soloist was oftentimes flat; the second soloist was sometimes flat too; and the highest note--the climax--of the third soprano was flat. Nonetheless, the bravura of the whole performance was outstanding.
