So, yeah, prices changed, games are cheaper now! Almost half the price!
The “prices haven’t ever changed” thing is stupid and needs to stop! Games and especially console games get sold at a fixed price worldwide, steam is an exception. Money does not have the same value around the world and the same goes for labor, raw materials and living costs. This means that companies can make more money by selling thier games in countries with bad exchange rates but cheaper living costs whilst still making a profit in countries like the USA because most games are a once off cost. Expensive game prices *really* frustrate and sadden me. For the last several years I've been skipping new games and waiting until they eventually go on sale. Guess that won't be changing any time soon :(
Don’t rule it out, pre order numbers are purposefully low so that they can say it ‘sold out’ it’s good marketing. You might be pleasantly surprised come release day.

Basically what your saying is that Sony should lower the prices of their system because some countries are poor? Their taking a loss for no gain, why would they
@@nikonei take a look at the big mac index
@@toethlef8994 of course not, we're not even talking about that. We're talking about the SHOCKED (!) reaction to the sudden price raise.
The bad internet argument for requiring a physical game is basically invalid when many games come with massive day one patches
Another thing to know about the next gen consolses is that there are very little choices in tvs and monitors that have hdmi 2.1 let alone run at 120 hz over hdmi.
Yea, but they will probably come down in price a bit.
@Jimbo lol monitors are stupid and way to small, most people who play on console have at least a 30 or 40 inch TV.
@Jimbo people who play on consoles usually play on their couch, not in a gaming chair my dude
They said it works fine with 2.0 HDMI, but if you want 120hz 4k go for HDMI 2.1
Not that you need to because they said there won't be any 4k 120hz(120fps) supported games for a long time.
Hope y’all having a good day today❤️

Really good video, I love the edits and citations.
I've always been an Xbox fanboy, and will be getting a Series X. And I've never actually had a Playstation in recent years.

Same. Always seemed too bulky IMO. One thing I was hoping Sony reverted to though is making the thumb sticks convex again like on the PS3. (Meaning they take a curved or rounded outward shape instead of the hollowed out style)

Don’t rule it out, pre order numbers are purposefully low so that they can say it ‘sold out’ it’s good marketing. You might be pleasantly surprised come release day.
Here in Europe they've said that it won't be physically available at stores until 2021 in order to avoid line-ups that may spread covid-19

With the amount of PS4 discs that I have, I can't fathom the one w/ the drive. My launch PS4 can finally get some shut eye 🙌🏿
I just wish they had a removable battery option, bugs me that they make it such a pain to replace that. I want one but i wanna protest that so, Xbox here i come
Just wait for for a 3rd party controller with removable batteries that you will have to replace every 20 minutes
What, you want a controller that takes battery packs instead of inbuilt ones? Why?
@Keahi Duarte all usb ports die eventually, especially when you live in a humid environment (cant do enough about it without spending way more than its worth on a dehumidifier & ya third party doesn't need to suck (fk the person that said the 20 min dumbfuckery). Having to take apart a controller cuz you're lithium battery died after 2 years like most of them, is just utterly fucking stupid
#3 regardless you have the disc or all digital, the moment you pop in a disc, you have to download 250gb day one "install" data
Yeah that's gonna suck with my shitty internet.
So fucking stupid that they do that, like what’s the point of discs, I think devs do that so you will go for the digital one, and therefore eliminating the used market,
@@skunkycatog Honestly, that's one of the reasons why I stopped getting discs (aside of the obvious convenience of switching between games) all the time you need to install them, takes FOREVER to download/install and it's just more clutter that doesn't even bring a nice booklet for you to check it out
5:56 Does anyone know the name of this song he is using? Thanks in advance :D
I've always wondered that aswell
Yess
If anyone knows. Please respond.
That $70 translated to £70 in the UK that's roughly $95. We have been truly shafted
$70 is about £54
But Ps5 games are about the same as US prices of up to £70 (standard edition games that is). From GAME
Miles Morales is £52, Sackboy is £60, Fifa 21 is £55, Godfall is £70 and Demon Souls is £70
@@kovugreen yeah I wasnt at all clear in my post. Edited to make it clearer.
@@kovugreen so fucking expensive though.
Digging that subtle Bob Dylan reference 😆
How is the expansion drive more affordable when you're literally paying more per gb considering it's a little bit more then half the price of the Xbox expansion card, with half the storage?
Because the ps5 drive is faster than Xbox and given that it’s very new technology it’s less than we expected.
@@noahvanilla6957 that doesn't make it more affordable. It's not much faster and price per gb is still higher. SSDs is not new technology. I've had my nvme m.2 ssd drive on my pc for 2.5 years now and others longer then that.
@@Naotakun comparing your ssd to ps5 ssd is really funny 😆
@@edgingnothing4070 is actually not, ssds that have the same spec speed is not new. I'm not just console player like you dweeb. I main console but have built my own pc and KNOW there are ssds out that are just as fast.

It's up to us what games cost. We can decide by how we spend our money. Just gotta be patient, and not get a game you might want -- just to send a message that we refuse to be raked over the coals.

The main reason I went for a physical edition ps5 is because physical games sometimes are cheaper, even shortly after release. You'll also have the option to buy used games or borrow them from your friends.
I also own a lot of physical games for ps4, so it'll be nice to be able to play them on ps5. For me it's not a big deal to get up from the couch and insert a disc into the console.
Can you play ps4 games that you have in the library( digital version of games) on ps5?
You lost me at "xbox has the better controller" 😂😂
It always had
@Shmebulock For people with big hands who want wonky stick placement... then maybe.
I too prefer the Playstation Controller. Its personal preference rather than one being better than the other. Some don't like the Joy stick placements of the Xbox, some feel the Playstation's controller is too small. Etc.

I’m not buying anything over 60 dollars
You definitely will, especially when every third party title is 70 as well. Activision is already doing it with the next Call of Duty.
About twenty years ago, people said the same about not paying anything over $50. Inflation affects everything, not just video games.
Just wait a month the prices become like 50 or 40
As someone who uses their ps4 for all media in the living room as it's my dvd player... yeah. I like the integration of twitch and youtube more directly interlaced into the console. I'm excited for that.
I'd love a face plate that made the console look like a turret from portal
