You can see Delta start that high, whistle note and straighten up as the pitch goes up, just as the camera pans away from Delta.

I hate to burst everybody's bubble, but that WAS NOT Delta. Kelly hit that final falsetto. Delta was belting the highest key for the chorus "Dream on", but Kelly Rowland finished with the whistle note.

Yes, I think it’s Delta too. She also moves her mouth at the end into that facial expression almost like a smirk smile when she pulls the mike away from her face that’s her controlling the note.
You all are incorrect. We all know Delta has range for days and can blow, but an exclamation in falsetto is Kelly all day. Aside from the fact that you can clearly hear that it's Kelly, YOU CAN SEE IT. Delta is actually lowering out of her belt while Kelly soars into her head register for that final whistle.

You were right about Delta, doing the climax note, though it was much lower than she can typically do because she is a high belter! But Kelly definitely surprised everyone with that whistle at the end.

@@Beytheevocalist. It was. Delta is an amazing vocalist but she's never been able to whistle live, and her 1 or 2 recorded whistles weren't nearly that good. If it was Delta, it was lip synced for sure.

Sing brother!!!! This is such an epic song and their rendition is awesome, yep they started lower than normal, delta can def belt it out for sure, Kelly was awesome on this, but I think delta did that falsetto bit, hard to see properly.

That was definitely Delta at the end, making the whistle note, not Kelly 😊. The camera work throws you off, but Delta is off-screen as she hits that last note. Great performances all around, though.

There's actually an older performance of Destiny's Child performing Emotions(don't know if it's still on TH-cam), but they're in concert and Beyonce was a little horse; Kelly ended up doing the high note at the climax in her place and sustains the note. If I can find it, I'll link it. Hopefully, you can react to it 🤷🏾♂️

Look up and review "Destiny's Child Emotion" live in Rottandam!!! Kelly takes the A5 high note that Bey usually does in that chipmunk high pitch.
Okay upon further review I think that falsetto was actually Kelly. If you listen to the note Kelly is doing prior to the high note in question. Kelly ends that note and to hear her come back in with the high falsetto!!! Sounds like both female voices are blended on said note as well. But the piercing voice we hear is Mrs. Rowland
At first I too thought it was delta only because we don't typically hear Kelly up there like that. Now I know she can get up there, but typically she doesn't go into outer space like she can.

No, it was certainly not. Watch closely, you can see her begin the note just as the camera pans away to the right of screen. She is in the act of straightening up as the note gets higher and louder. Watch closely, you'll see. Also, I know how Delta sounds and even without literally seeing it in the footage, it's clearly Delta. @@edel-ac
@@candydandy2694 no it’s clearly Kelly watch the og video and you’ll see Kelly was still sustaining the note while delta put the mic down , delta went from heady mix to full chest and Kelly took that final note .
