Double Sided Mattresses 101

Most people have memories of their mother making them flip their mattress every now and then while growing up. This is because, back then, most mattresses were designed to be flippable mattresses. Both sides were equally as comfortable.
Today, mattress makers tend to design modern beds from the bottom up, with the comfortable layers placed only at the top. With the advent of new mattress materials, such as memory foam and pillow top, it was no longer necessary (or practical) to make all mattresses double sided. However, some people do still prefer flippable beds, and since our aim is to always provide you with the best mattress for your specific needs, we do offer the option to purchase a double sided mattress.

Double sided makes sense if you are buying online but if you're in the store then they are just silly
