WOW - what a build! 20% looking for parts. 30% - study assembly diagram, 50% - assembly. From the size of this model, and the weight, you just converted your workshop into a gym!
Just wanted to say hello and thank you from across the pond, just completed my Pocher 1299 and I found your videos extremely beneficial to get me through a few of the more difficult areas. Much appreciated!!
Wayne, I'd like to apologize. A couple weeks ago I tweeted you about this build asking when you were going to start. I didn't realize it was 1/4 scale. It looks enormous. That being said I am excited to watch the progression of the build. Thank you. Love your channel.
The next step is when you put the two screws in the top of the engine so you were right not to put the four screws in and only put the two screws in the gold cover. Loving the new build. Stay safe all.
Wow. That is super impressive Wayne. If only eaglemoss would bring this out as a partwork. If I had this as it is, I would never know when to stop & have a rest. Can not wait to see the build progress. That engine is mighty impressive.
There is a special liquid for preserving decals (it also "sucks" decals on to surface) also those decals can someties be very brittle so using a cotton swab is more preferred then tweezers.
@@WorldofWayneUK Amongst the painting tutorials over on the Warhammer channel, there are a couple of great videos with tips for applying transfers/decals. Try using a small paint brush - plenty of water on the area first, so that the decal floats a bit, then a moist paintbrush to position.
I'm so impressed well done landing this to build, expensive but beautiful builds when completed so this and the tumbler have my total attention. It will be interesting to see how you decide on a stopping point as it would be so tempting to do just one more little bit. But I wish you well but I'm as jealous as hell. 👍
Hi Wayne, nice video, thanks for sharing. May I ask you something that is maybe obvious. The whole bike is build with screws? No glue in any part? I’m thinking in buying one built and disassemble it. Many thanks 😊
Wayne.. looking for assistance please. Step 17 attaching left side peg assembly / suspension onto frame.. cannot ascertain where to screw it onto the frame... any assistance would be great appreciated. Cheers
Just found a place where this can be purchased from if anyone wants to build it Wayne. The company name is Silent Autos diecast model cars. The price is £719.00 excluding P/P.
@@bedfordshiremodeller4491 I went on line, Pocher used to distribute this kit, don't know who actually manufactured this Ducati kit. There are plenty of private sells and a few on line model sites that are willing to sell and ship. It's a pretty pricey deal.
As far as the gold coloured part was concerned, I would just have put all 4 screws in, as the other one has 4 screws to hold it in place, seems daft not to just put 4 in on the other part as they are the same! It could be a mistake on the instructions.
Wayne, you're currently on about FIFTEEN models. Slow down. Please, just hold off on one or two and focus on the others. There are too many to keep track of. It makes the show confusing and I'm always lost whenever you get a new set of parts in. I'm not even sure if you finished the Bismarck! Or are you modifying it with aftermarket parts?

I have it here but as the decal was so tiny I did it the old fashioned way

Looks like a candidate for the battery screwdriver.. tight but not pressure so you avoid injury :)
Very nice upload you put together thanks for sharing.
Wayne thanks very much for replying to my comment. It's nice to see other people's work to get idea to improve my Channel. Take care & stay safe.

Hi, just building mine now. Great videos thank you. What's the preferred glue to use please so that it doesnt discolour rhe plastic? Thanks.
A good Ca glue will suffice but only use a PVA glue on clear parts
Found several models on eBay cost starting at $1000 US and up plus many add ons plus took. Model company is taking preorders new run now for $550 US
Hi Wayne what size tips on Phillips screw drivers do you recommend for this model please.

Thanks for your answer. Just saw the instructions manual and it looks like some parts are maybe glued. Will go more into the manual. Thanks again
Looking good Wayne. When you complete these builds for other people do you weather it or deliver it as is out of the box?
Out of the box
What oil do you use on the screws? Thanks.
Just a regular 3 in 1 oil

DAMN
Lol fibre glass in a model ?! - CRAZY
Hi Wayne , its pronounced at "Penny Ga Lee" phonetically, LOL
you will have to say lets get Reving
Are you planning on painting the parts?
They don’t need painting. It could be weathered but as this isn’t mine I will leave as is
Fucking hell that box is massive
That's either a big box or Wanye has shrunk :D
You do realise, Wayne, that if the model was much bigger, then you could ride it to Ian Campbell's place to deliver it personally!
Lol I bet think he would have to do in secret although Mrs wayne would lock wayne in mancave if she ever found out
christ that's going to be a fair size once completed! I won't ask how much the model cost him
Me happy Here is a model of a motorcycle in scale 1/4 and they ship to Denmark. I'm also sad-can't afford it, have to save so I can afford it.
I built a Alfa Romeo Tourer years ago.Biggest regrets was selling it.😪
Who sells this kit?
It's apocher kit not sure who the model manufacturers are on this1🤷♂️

Hey Wayne, FYI, it's pronounced like the card game, poker. That comes direct from the company...
I knew that. My brain didn’t communicate with mouth again lol
💚💚👍👍
Apparently you can get this from Amazon for £1100
Hey Wayne, just letting you know for future episodes Pocher is pronounced Poke-air.
Yep I also learnt it’s pronounce Pen Garrr Lee
Actually, pan-ee-gah-lee

I tried. The screw holes are bigger so I guess something else is going there
@@WorldofWayneUK Oh I see,.... Now got me wondering what goes on/in.
