The way it opens is quite impressive! I'm not in the market for a stroller like this but this is definitely the one I'd get. Best baby gear reviewer on the platform! 🙌
I like how you emphasize that the big name brands are not always the best of the best. I've started to notice these new independent brands recently too, great products. LOVE your review. Detailed, to the point, covers my questions. Honestly, the weight bearing tip got me. My Colugo is on its way, ubbbber excited!
Great vid as always, when are you going to do the Evenflo pivot expand? Waiting for that one, wife is 7.5 months pregnant! First kid. And just to add... Your channel has helped a lot man. Thank you.
I absolutely love this stroller. Great value and definitely makes it hard to justify other higher end strollers (IMO). Started out great with all the pro's mentioned in this video as well as a few more. Like how comfortable it was to carry when folded. Unfortunately, over time we began to experience the same rear wheel wobble mentioned in this video, all within the first month of use. Colugo actually replaced our first stroller to have the second have an even worse wobble. Not sure if there's a quality issue, but good to keep an eye out for when purchasing this stroller. Despite all this, Colugo's customer service has been great and I've had nothing but great and timely exchanges with their staff while working to get things sorted out with our stroller. Let's hope third time is a charm!
We received the colugo complete version off of our baby registry and though we haven’t used it yet (baby is due in August), I’m loving the quality so far. I took a long time to decide if I wanted the complete or the compact and eventually decided to wait until our child is toddler age before we venture into travel strollers. We don’t actually travel often but I can see the compact being great for the zoo or the mall or anywhere that I might want something smaller and easier to transport. Will def be getting the compact in the future! Thanks for your review.
Just got the complete today too! We really like it compared to others we’ve looked at. I’m 90% sure we’re keeping it. Really wish there were video reviews of the complete :(
I really liked your insight on the handlebar distance from the wheels! I have really long legs so I don’t think I could walk well with the Colugo it looks like. Thanks!
I ordered the Colugo and finally got it like two days before seeing your Ergo Metro + review. My experience has been that tends to lean or try to topple to the side when going on angled sidewalk. This was disappointing because the cheap version I got at Walmart seems more stable. I love the screen on the back and it does comes with a lot of perks like the carrying bag. I think we are going to try the Metro + and return the Colugo if we like it better. The recline is great and I do like the basket. It’s really heavy though and I was expecting to like it better. I really do think the toppling on angle is the deal breaker here.
I appreciate that Colugo has a 100 day money back guarantee. In these times it means we can try something out (without having to drive hours to get to a store that has more than two strollers to try) and don’t have to pay return shipping costs if we don’t like it. Ordering ours tomorrow! Thanks for this review :)
Thanks for the video. Does the colugo compact have the ability to attach the car seat like the uppa baby minu? Also what diaper bag are you using 3:37 ?
FTM here and we haven’t used ours yet (baby is due in August) but I chose the complete after A TON of research and a lot of back and forth. First impressions without actually using it with a child yet-we love it so far. Great feel to it. Maneuvers well around our house. Nice storage basket. Love the extendable canopy. Really easy to fold/open. It’s a quality stroller for a decent price (at least compared to our original pick which was the uppababy vista!) and comes with some useful accessories included. I say, throw it on your registry and hopefully someone will get it for you. Worked for us lol. I added this to my registry with the intention to get the compact version sometime down the line also. Someone is gifting us the infant kit too so I’m pretty excited. I will say it’s heavier for me than I anticipated but it IS a full size stroller. And the handle bar doesn’t adjust but I’m 5’2”, boyfriend’s 6’2” and we both feel comfortable. Dad Verb’s definitely gonna have a more helpful review lol.
FYI that slight rear wheel vibration comes from the brake being slightly engaged. If the brake pedal isn't all the way forward its can be slightly engaged. I kick the back brake alot.
Love the review. Just got the stroller in the mail and mine didn't come with the free cup holder. Did come with the rain cover and backpack though. Solid build. My Mockingbird doesn't fit well in my car so the Colugo compact will be my main driver. Keep it up, man! Edit: Just got word from a Colugo rep that they haven't officially released/announced the cup holder yet and won't be available be available quite yet. Hopefully soon!
Great video man I totally dig your content and it has been so helpful for me. I was wondering about that diaper bag though that you used in the example, what brand is that? Im looking for one like that.
I’m torn between purchasing the compact vs complete and what I’m really interested in seeing is if there is a difference in how much the seat reclines??? I haven’t been able to find that anywhere. Please help.
Why do you say free 99 instead of free ninety free? Love the review, btw. I just purchased my Colugo and am excited for it to arrive. Watching your review made me feel very confident in my purchase.
This was looking like an awesome option until you talked about the brake placement. Wife said it’d be too dangerous because of my “big ol feet” 🙄 That and I’m pretty easily distracted. Great video!
Hi there, thanks for the great information that you always share. How does the seat recline? Can it be used for newborns or does it accommodate a hook on carseat? Can you please make a video of great strollers that are light weight and compact but those that have wheels in the same line. I hate the way the two front tyres are like 12 inches appart and the 2 back tyres are like 18 inches apart. What's the wisdom behind that? Is there still strollers out there that have equal distances between the wheels ?
Became a dad a little over a year ago and have been subscribed for a bit. I always appreciate your detailed videos and I feel like you explain things the same way I would. I feel like we should hang out.
How tall are you? I'm 6'3". Would this be uncomfortable? Thinking my longer strides may be hitting that brake. And the reach of the handle, would it be too low?
I'm 5'11" and it feels fine. It shouldn't make you hunch the way the Doona would. I haven't been able to push the Cybex Beezy in person so I can't definitively say which would be better but they seem super comparable. Let me know which you run with.
I wish someone did a review with the infant kit but it looks like its very similar. I would like to use this as my standard stroller is that wrong or is it necessary to have a carseat attachment?
I certainly think you can use it as a standard stroller if you don't need to carry much and expect to stay on normal sidewalks and terrain (not good on cobblestone). I was unable to test the newborn kit so I can't expound on the quality or comfort, but know that it's similar to a bassinet attachment. The only downside is it's a bit harder to transfer the baby from stroller to car.
Can you speak to the comfort of this stroller compared to other travel strollers? We have some late boarding flights and I may need my daughter to sleep in her stroller when we are at the airport. Thank you.
live in BK and go up and down to the subway all the time. If I pull the stroller up the stairs (with babe still in it), will the break hit the stairs and lock? This is the problem I had with the 3D lite.
Unfortunately, Doona is in a league of its own with the hybrid stroller/car seat combo. I mention in my Doona review that it's limited longevity is a bit of a drawback. Is he too long for all infant car seats? If that's the case, a pivot to something like the Colugo Compact or Minu would be good if you want to keep things light.
No he’s not just the doona. I have a contender or something! Sorry, not up on all stuff. My older kids are 17/13. I was limited back then. I am installing the car seat tomorrow but needed a stroller. I looking at the mockingbird but idk. I’m really loving this colugo. I’m hoping he isn’t to long for it. The issue is with the seating on doona. As a baby, it was fine but he can’t sit up properly, slouching and just uncomfortable. You addressed this in the video and I’m sold pretty much. Just wish doona has something else as he’s not ready for the trike just yet. I have the limited edition doona (blue stripes). Also, didn’t want to spend another $700 or close to it. This is all like wow as these options were not available for my teens. Lol. I’m not that old(joking) but it feels that way! Thanks for posting. You’re the best!!
I had the ergo metro didn't like it. When folded the seat is facing out which makes it easily dirty. Found myself having to wipe it down repeatedly. The strap also when folded is uncomfortably short, it was difficult to carry when needed.
I wouldn't recommend for a newborn. I see this as mostly for toddlers. This does have a newborn kit, but I'm more partial to infant car seats during the newborn stage.

I was looking for Colugo compact stroller reviews like this for a long time! I got mine last year and I’m still loving it. It worths the money.
I'm looking into this stroller for my toddler who's on the taller side. She's currently 26 months. Would you recommend this stroller for older kids?
How are you feeling about it now, Ive been eyeing the colugo compact and the colugo complete. So im looking for long time user reviews
