Color looks great. You can buy an old school projector screen that rolls up with one tug, and with the frame. Very inexpensive because Gen Z has no idea what they are.
Yeah, I was pricing those pull-down projector screens before I bought the white sheet. Wasn't sure where I was going to eventually mount this projector so went with my green-screen stand in the living room. I had planned on using the new sheet for the outside recording, but due to the wet cold weather it would have ruined it for future use.
Very nice! I’m surprised it is that cheap!
I paid about $300 for one several years ago that was 720p. It was ok, but definitely not as clear/colorful as this one and about twice as loud.
@@WagnersTechTalk did you play any Intellivision on it? Haha
You may not believe this, just won an auction on Goodwill for an original intellivision in the box and a few games. It may happen in the future!
Could you use this for a golf simulator? 120 inch screen from 12 ft ? Thanks
I don't see why not, would probably work great!
Did you get to test latency? If not, did you notice any lag?
I didn't notice any lag, but apparently there is a 50ms delay which for most would be completely unnoticeable (1/20th of a second). I put the details in the video description prior to releasing this video as I knew someone might ask lol
@@WagnersTechTalk oops...I didn't even look :D thanks for the reply! I like the portable projectors. I've seen people bring them on trips and use them for their kids. I think its a great idea...especially since we can do some gaming.
np RM! I rarely look at the descriptions myself :)
Can you take a look at more rasberry pi 4 kits?
Do you mean with this projector or just in-general? I'm always looking for different Pi 4 kits to show here. Recently discussed the Pi 400 and going to do a follow-up with a more advanced theme.
@@WagnersTechTalk hmm raspberry pi with this projector seems like a good video idea, could you please try it?
lol, I did :) See 09:20 , I saved the best for last!
@@WagnersTechTalk oh, sorry, my bad :P
np at all
But no roof mounting?
Yes, there is. There are four mounting terminals on the bottom of the projector for mounting it to a ceiling. Then, you could rotate the display in the options menu to compensate for it being oriented upside down. Hope this helps a bit.
Made a quick video here to show what the projector looks like with the lights on, towards the end you'll see the mounting holes. Please confirm once you've seen this video and I will delete it: th-cam.com/video/R8S4rSgQFNA/w-d-xo.html
How's the performance in a lighted room and for displaying text? I'm interested in this for projecting music on the screen when it's safe to gather again for music play along events and classes. Here's a sample chord chart: ozbcoz.com/Songs/song.php?ID=3638,soprano

@@WagnersTechTalk That chord chart is crystal clear even with all your office lights on. Thanks for including that test. This projector looks like a great deal!
