Prices are rising these days, huh? Grocery for a single-person household is now soooo expensive. I’m trying to stick to my budget for as long as I can. Also, been trying to manage my time better now that I’m taking language classes.

Try to buy meat and veggies in the wet market instead of supermarkets if you can. It makes a huge difference. But non negotiables like the monstera you bought? I would also buy it if it makes me happy 🩷🩷🩷

Happy for you! 🤍 my rent is 7k, PLDT 1.8k, water 200 and electricity is less than 1k lang because I'm using inverter ref and aircon. It's a house and unfurnished when I moved in :)
Nakakaiyak nga talaga huhuhu lalo pa may toddler pa ako gatas at diaper mahigit 1k na wla pa dyan ang pangpalengke ko at mga basic na needs namin mag-asawa..

Water here in bulacan where we live only 20 pesos and free delivery. It didn’t change the price since we moved here.

Review of Carote please 😊
I graduated in high school through a Chinese school. Kanji was derived from Chinese written language. That is why Chinese is marked as level 5 and Japanese and Korean as Level 3 when I took a language class in Accenture (ex-employee here). The spelling in Kanji for Mama is in Chineses characters. I hated our writing class because we have to get the strokes correctly. It’s like learning to write in perfect cursive 😅 but I did appreciate gaining a little bit of background in Chinese.
If you are up for another challenge, you might also be interested in taking up Mandarin Chinese. It will be easier to learn Korean after that.
