Faida desh ko nhi, PG walo ko hota hai & nuksan merchant ko. Customer ka paisa pehle PG k pass jata hai & then PG wale merchant ko dete hai apna commission kat k, but kv kv PG wale paise nhi dete, kha jate hai.

Great video man. But the link you gave in the description is not the official UPI service maybe. So could you please elaborate on how the UPI is different from companies offering UPI payment gateway, don't they will take any frees for their usage not by UPI but by the companies providing it?
UPI Pay is a software platform built with the vision to encourage digital payments & digital commerce which allows individuals & businesses to sell their goods & services online for FREE with instant bank settlement whereas in the use of any regular payment gateway there is upto 3% + GST transaction fees & settlement is received after 2-3 business days which takes away significant profit margin from small businesses & the delayed settlement impacts the cash flow. The software platform is a private initiative to support the digital india campaign.

You need to understand How UPI works to understand this purpose.
- UPI connects banks with a single or multiple payment address (VPA).
- And UPI has a dedicated URL encoding methodology which can only be rendered by NPCI approved UPI Apps.
- If you anyhow able to redirect to the Dedicated UPI url, Then the payment can be done.
- But here, One clue is there, If you are using a regular UPI Address (not business), Then you can receive payments through QR codes by generating QR codes with the specific encoding values.
*BUT* when it comes to opening of the UPI apps using the dedicated encoding format, Then you need a business address.
And that is applicable here in this tutorial,
Once you pass the values to the payment page using the API, it checks whether you are using a mobile device or a desktop.
- If desktop, then QR code will be displayed
- If phone, UPI app will be open.
If you observed it carefully, Then the manual entry of UPI address where payment request will go is not there.
As this facility is only restricted to payment gateways approved by NPCI/RBI.
*BUT THE GATEWAY/SYSTEM CREATED BY SIR IS AN HIGHLY USEFUL MATERIAL FOR SMALL BUSINESS (>1000 trans/day) SINCE THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY A PENNY, BUT YEAH, RUNNING A SERVICE IS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT, SO IT MIGHT BE A PAID SOFTWARE, I am not sure about that.*

Its a software where merchant can set a upi id on which the customer pay. The money is instantly settled to merchant bank account without any txn fees.
