محترمہ سیّدہ زھرا صآحبہ مقامِ حیرت ھے کہ اردو کو پاکستان کے قیام ھی سے سب پر مسلّط کیا گیا حالانکہ بنگالی پاکستان کی آبادی کے نصف سے زائد باشںندوں کی زبان تھی۔ موجودہ پاکستان میں بھی جہاں پنجابیوں کی تعداد لگ بھگ 60% ھے اردو ھی کو قومی زبان کا درجہ حاصَل ھے اگرچہ بعض تیکنیکی وجوھات کی بنا پر انگریزی کا غلبہ ھے۔ آپ پھر بھی اردو کو مظلوم بنا کر پیش کر رھی ھیں۔ پنجابیوں کے ذھن میں اُن کی زبان کے خلاف اِتنا زھر بھر دیا گیا ھے کہ وہ اپنی مادری زبان بولتے ھوئے شرماتے ھیں۔ آپ نے دنیا میں اور کوئی ملک ایسا دیکھا ھے جہاں پر آبادی کے بمشکل 5% لوگوں کی زبان کو سرکاری زبان کا درجہ حاصل ھو؟ دوسری بات، اردو کو لشکری زبان اِس لیے نہیں کہا جاتا کہ وہ کسی فوجی چھاؤنی یا کیمپ کی پیداوار ھے بلکہ اِس لیے کہا جاتا ھے کہ اردو سنسکرت، فارسی، ترکی اور عربی کا ملغوبہ ھے یہ انفرادی طور پر کوئی زبان نہیں ھے تاریخ کے جبر سے جنم لیا ھوا ایک لہجہ ھے۔
ڈاکٹر عارفہ اردو زبان ٖکی ترجمانی ضرور کریں مگر اسلام پر طنزیہ گفتگو کرنے سے اپنی علمی قابلیت کی توہین کر دی ہے، عجیب اتفاق ہے جو بھی اپنے علمی معیار ٖ کےاعلی حدود میں داخل ہوتا ہے وہ اسلام پر ضرور فقرے اچھالتا ہے، اسلام کا زبانوں سے کوئی تعلق نہیں بلکہ جس تہذیب کی آپ بات کرتی ہیں اسی تہذیب کی بنیاد اسلام نے رکھی ہے، جس فکر اور خیال کا آپ نے ذکر کیا اس کا تعارف اسلام نے کیا، محمود غزنوی ۱۷ بار لوٹنے نہیں آیا تھا، افغانستان پر ہندو راجہ بار بار حملہ کرتے تھے تنگ آ کر جوابی حملے کرتا تھا، اپنی تاریخ کا مطالعہ پھر سے کریں محترمہ؟
Arfa Sayeda Zehra is a glib speaker, but her portrayal of Sanskrit as an example of unavoidable death of a language through ossification of expression betrays the misconceptions that her milieu has knowingly harboured within itself. She seems to call out the Islamism that has undermined cultural diversity and expression in Pakistan, but hardly realises that her own milieu is not unaffected by the same Islamism resulting in her holding pretty ignorant views about Sanskrit's relationship with cultures and consciousness of the people of India. Associating Sanskrit -- which has continued to the present times to animate almost all Indic languages and cultural memes -- with "death" shows that she has pretty crude appreciation of that relationship and she herself has not been immune from the phantasmagoria that Islam's ethnocidal and epistemicidal system builds for itself everywhere.
Great use of English. Terrible narrative based on utter dishonesty fueled by grudge against Islam. If only you could open your conscience to the ideas as much you opened up to be eloquent at English. If only you could do justice to yourself.

اردو میں آپ اس قدر شرابور ہیں کہ اسلام سے سبکدوش نظر آتی ہیں۔ سید زادیاں تو بھائیوں کو اسلام پر قربان کرتی دیکھی ہیں، اسلام پر طنز کرنے والی پہلی سیدزادی ہیں آپ۔ محبت کی زبان میں آپ نے سبھی اسلامی بادشاہوں اور خاص طور پر مَردوں کو جس قدر ظالم بتا دیا ہے اس لحاظ سے تو آج عورت نام کی کوئی چیز ہی نہیں ہونی چاہئے تھی۔ اللّٰہ اللّٰہ۔
