E:U has distinctive voice, which make her lines stands out in the song. I'm not saying they're fine being treated to have less lines, but as we know, there always be someone who has the bigger portion, and it's fine. But if they want to give a twist in line composition, that would be great also

Hello, I hope you won't mind reading also my answer. I'm 19 and I've been listening k-pop for 6 years. And I had really similar feeling a couple year ago. Especially since my friends (who brought me into k-pop) lost interest in it as well. I, personally, took a little break and almost wasn't listening to k-pop for half of the year. And then some excellent comebacks and debuts brought me back (DKB, Dreamcatcher, Oh my god by G(I)-DLE and some more). Also I've found Loona around that time and fell in love with their music. If I were you, I'd try to keep up with as much comebacks and debuts as I could. Because you never know where you'll find something special to you. I, personally, at least watch all mvs of comebacks that I know about. Also, always try to listen to b-sides. At least that what I'm doing to keep interest in k-pop. And to be honest I've found most of my favorite songs in albums that I'd never expect them to be. But, actually there's nothing wrong if you don't like k-pop anymore. Or if you just need a break. K-pop is more then just a genre of music, it's whole community. And it fine if you're tired of it. (I'm not sure if you need this and if it fits the topic, but there's nice video called "The last great era of k-pop" by Mera". Maybe her thoughts will help you) Sorry if you didn't need my reply.
