Great tutorial! Yours are the best. Clear speech, slow enough to see stitches being made, and love that you also post the written directions. Nice and professional!!! Thankyou.
What a beautiful design! I have several live Christmas cactus plants but they bloom only once a year. This tutorial will let me have blooms all the time!
Thank you very much. Ya I too love them, they are so beautiful. The flowers are usually pink, but since I didn’t have pink yarn so used orange. You can go ahead with pink if you want and ya those lovely blooms will be year round now.😃
Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial!! I am busy making enough to fill a flower pot! I subscribed to your channel recently and truly enjoying the challenge of creating /crocheting these plants!
It's actually a Thanksgiving cactus it has pointy clades. Christmas clades are more rounded. I still love great video I'm going to make a few for some of my friends who don't have a green thumb & love's my Thanksgiving cactuses ❤
Thank you so very much!! I have a Beetlejuice themed idea with my black-and-white real flower pot, electric green yarn and purple for flowers!! It’s gonna be awesome, but I’m not very ambitious so I have a hard time taking initiative in my projects and prefer when I can follow a tutorial.. so I’m hoping the hanging vines with flowers will fit into my pot!! Thank you again for your help!! 🥰💚💜🖤🤍
You are welcome , I used the floral aluminum wires which are 26 gauge. But I think u can used other sizes also a long as u are able to bend it and crochet over it while hiding the wire. Hope this helps.
Thanks a lot for your comment, I am not sure what could be the problem but like you mentioned it’s on the backside so it should not be an issue. Once you stitch the leaves to the base this area will mostly be hidden. Hope this helps.
This may be a silly question, but the soil ball in this video looks a lot bigger then the soil on the cactus video! Would you be able to provide the starting count for this soil ball opposed to the cactus? If it’s the same size & my eyes are deceiving me, I apologize!
It’s not a silly question and ya the soil ball here is larger compared to the linked video since this pot was larger so had to make it as per its size. But the process is the same, in the likes video I have mentioned how you need to keep increasing till u reach the required size of the pot. Also the yarn used in this video is larger. What you can do is follow the same pattern, and measure against your pot and when the circumference fits the pot stop increasing and continue. Hope this helps

This is a great tutorial, but making the leaves I have uncovered wire on the backside there where the slipstiches are made. What am I doing wrong?
