Sup? Mountain biker here. I worked at bike shop with a guy who was sort of borderline BMX/MTB. He invited me out for a street ride and loaned me his personal War Pig and rode my hardtail. It was a great night out and grinds aren't so scary it turns out. Balance is universal.
I started right at the end of the heavy bike era, I remember wanting a Kink Defender? but got a Freebird instead maybe that's why I never got too ripped, lol! great vid
@@SnakebiteBMX it’s not a park tool scale either. It’s some cheesy one. I think it’s way off because they said they weighed it again and it was 34 the second time on the same scale. I still think it’s around 37.5lbs.
I got the frame and forks from a friend around then, i rode it for a few years before getting something else. One frame i wis I still had was my D.K. SOB.
Stoked to help out on the build! Those wheels are perfect for that bike.
Thank you! We both were amazed how nice they were! This and his other 2 S&M's should all be in an edit next year sometime! :)

This kids definitely on bmxmuseum. He's pretty young to have what he's got. Used to be a kid on there named freedo that had it worse younger.

never owned a warpig, but I did have XS cranks because of Troy McMurray.
Those araya rims are perfect and they are double wall not triple 🙏👌
So awesome! Looks perfect.
Looks sick. Turbo from Albes just finished another one of his war pigs and it was 31.7lbs
No pegs on it yet though…
Now that I think about it, the scale we weighed it on Had to be wrong…
I was going to say even without pigs that’s fairly light

That’s pretty much Troy’s exact setup.😊
I still have a warpig in my shed.
I got one all custom built in 2000. Origional to the era

@@notherestillnothingI might be interested in your pig. I own two already. Was my favorite of all the S&M’s I rode.
There’s one on BMX museum right now
Araya RBJ1's are triples. Still run a pair on an older ares flat bike.
😮 what's the bike on the wall with the mag rims?
It’s a 1989 bully
The real street appreciate this build.
What graphics does yours have?
I just seen a viking clamp on eBay for 65 bucks
Out of all the disiplines in cycling or moto, bmx has the most artful culture and has the farthest reaching influence.
I have a Viking chrome clamp on the bmx museum for sale if your still looking ,dope bike
Thank you for reaching out. We got one we’re going to go grab on Monday.
Who's ?? Signature model was the warping back in the day his name was Troy mucmurry
yup
needs a primo seat ❤
Good looking bike
Switching out the bars and tyres would make a huge difference to the weight.
taller bars and wider tires would only make it slightly heavier, maybe by 10 oz..
@@DougTunnler I meant lighter, not heavier! The existing Castillo bars were tiny but weighed 3.5lbs. And the Primo Wall tyres are almost 1kg each.
No one here is worried about the weight.
@@SnakebiteBMX it ain't really a warpig unless it weighs 50 lbs.
Good bikes are never finished!
Very true
Why? 😅
Really? I suppose you'd say the same about the Sabbath or FBM Angel of Death.
Making me wanna build my midschool bike . Anyone have an OG Trailboss or FBM a.o.d. survivor?
you can usually find a trail boss on BMX museum, pretty easy. The Fbm, angel of death are usually a little harder and more expensive to find
