    Michael Krasny, Ph.D., is Professor of English at San Francisco State. He has also taught in Stanford’s Continuing Education Program. He is the award winning host of KQED’s Forum, the weekday talk program broadcast on the Bay Area’s NPR affiliate and Sirius radio. He is also author of Off Mike (Stanford University Press, 2007); Spiritual Envy (New World Press, 2012); co-author of Sound Ideas (McGraw-Hill) and his latest book is Let There Be Laughter (Harper-Collins, 2016) as well as of the two-volume DVD and CD set, “Short Story Masterpieces,” produced by The Teaching Company.

    Humourless. Watch Seinfeld, Curb etc. and you'll know what it means. It means it's funny.

    These two men are kind of silly. Jews and Iranians are like two spouses who hate each other but continue to live under one roof.
