    it surprises me how kamurocho seems unique in each and every game while still being the same city. Yakuza is a great series

    I just love how complex the city of kamurocho seems like there are endless storylines. everyone has a story and rgg are masters at portraying multiple protagonists

    i always looked at yakuza as a poorly made beat em up like 2 years ago then i was suddenly like "HMMMM i need a new story game to play, lemme give yakuza a try" fast forward a year i finished every yakuza game and LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE WITH MY LIFE

    I love these games. Everything is just so awesome. I actually just finished 100%ing Yakuza 0 and actually enjoyed it for like 95% of the time. I wish they had brought back the cabaret club minigame in Infinite Wealth. That was my biggest dissapointment with that game by a long shot. Here´s hoping for the next one.
    How come you didn´t mention the music though? I feel like that´s one of the greatest strengths these games have and probably the thing that gets me the most excited when starting a new RGG game.
    My favorite OST from these games has to be from Judgment, it´s just perfect.

    id say these games do get repetitive personally

    • @blue-guy333
      @blue-guy333  หลายเดือนก่อน

      i respect that but recently they definetly try to make the games more unique.
      personally i was a bit burned out after playing yakuza 0 to yakuza 3 then i played ishin and it was really refreshing
      can you tell me which game you played that made you realize its repetitive?

    • @Megasuperq
      @Megasuperq หลายเดือนก่อน

      @blue-guy333 I think it's fairly repetitive in a general sense yknow, like you got 0 with the real estate minigames you gotta grind, and then kiwami 1 where you gotta grind that majima system to get maxed and your moveset is also the same as 0, and so on and so forth it can just be a bit much sometimes yknow

    • @blue-guy333
      @blue-guy333  หลายเดือนก่อน

      i agree yakuza 0 and kiwami are mechanically almost the same with the combat so i can see how its repetitive but since yakuza 6 every game has been pretty unique imo

    Nah, Yakuza kind of fell off with how bad Ishin remake and Gaiden were. Yakuza is just kind of the same game everytime outside of like Ichiban's games. Constant reuse of movesets and assets, it's one of the most lazy IPs out right now that people just kind of eat up.
    Gaiden is just Kiryu saying he's not kiryu for the entire runtime with a padded out campaign and awful gameplay.

      I can't agree less

    • @blue-guy333
      @blue-guy333  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Maybe youre just burnt out on the series right now gaiden was smaller in scope but gameplay wise it was awesome, ishin was also a banger.
      Ishin had a completely new combat system and gaiden also had new combat idk how you can say they are the same game when ishin is literally made in a completely different engine and is set in a completely different time period.
      Out of all the yakuza games you can call copy and paste you take two that are made with a different engine and combat sounds like you want a new game instead of yakuza

    • @lizdevilz7271
      @lizdevilz7271 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Eh I am really disagreed with you. I think Gaiden is alright. I mean yeah, Combat is worse than Lost Judgment. But it is still good in itself.
      Ishin! Kiwami is also really good imo but maybe because I am sucker for Samurai theme media since I like Gintama.
      So I think saying it "fell off" is too much imo. And for reusing stuff...As someone who studied "Game Design" subject, I will tell you this : "It's not bad thing" to do. As long as you can still making fun game, You're free to reused stuff as much as you want. As long as you can public game on deadline, It is not bad thing to do. It's not really lazy. Saying "Reusing is lazy" is equal to "Downgrade drawing detail in animation media = Bad animation and Lazy technique".
      But it is my opinion so you don't have to agreed with me just like how I am not agreed with you.

      I would love to see more diverse movesets and combat options, but outside of that, what would you have them do differently?
      I thought the Ishin remake was great. What didn´t you like about it?

      There are similar elements across the series but I think they make an effort be be fresh with each installment.
