Great video AC! Like your saying, compliments are really depending on in which country you live, we have the same here in the Netherlands. I wear fragrances for myself to feel good, if I get a compliment that's always nice. The bulgary mib essense is really awesome, I like the bitter orange combination.
I agree Edward, I really like the Dutch people and I have so many colleagues from the Netherlands and its a sheer joy to work with them. As I have grown older I have also realized that I mostly do things for myself and I do not really care much about external gratification and approvals. Its just how I have evolved. When I was in my twenties I used to care a lot about people's opinion on my sense of dressing and fragrances, now I dont, its just me and I get more appreciation from people now. I agree with your views on MIB essence. Its been crafted very well.
Going to buy Prada Lhomme Intense today. It's summer here but I can't resist myself from buying. Smelt it yesterday and it was love at first sniff (will have to wait for winter to rock it though).
Absolute stunner it is Shubham and I think you could wear it in an air conditioned environment IMHO. Do check out my review on it as I think I have discussed that aspect as well.
Very nice video and good selection of fragrances. You are so passionate about fragrance that it makes me smile. I do wear fragrances for myself but it's feels good to get complements every now and then. It makes you believe that whatever you are doing, you doing it right. The sudden leather jacket part cracked me up. Really funny. Will definitely put some of them in my purchase list.
Smells Good thanks for your reply. Only have a few summer fragrances in my collection. You know it's UK and we hardly get any proper summer like now. Most of my aftershaves are for all year or winter only. But always I really enjoyed Rasasi Pour Lui Zebra for outdoors and Prada l'homme for office/indoor setting.
Both are great scents and yeah, I know what you mean about our summers :). If you get a chance try Quercia by Acqua Di Parma, pricey but outstanding for all year office setting :).

Great video! I agree with you about Cedrat Boise. I was in the parking lot of a large shopping mall near DC and this group of beautiful Women followed me across the parking lot to ask what I was wearing. This has happened several times.
Dunhill Icon is very good. I spray it on my clothes few minutes before i leave and its amazing. Try it also spraying the clothes inside wardrobe. Same with YSL Lhome.
Man, you slayed this video! Absolutely superb talk on your compliment getters. I can totally relate to the CDNIM compliment that you had. Once, after my workout at the gym, I showered off, applied CDNIM, and walked out of the locker room, and two women in their early 40s said “Oh my god, you smell amazing. Will you just walk around this place and let us follow your scent trail!?” They asked what I was wearing, I said “Aventus.” ;) Just the other day whenever I walked past the same two ladies, one of them started counting down “three...two...one...” and then she breathed in really deep as if to take in my sillage...of course I was wearing CDNIM. I feel like I have to wear it for them now. Ha!

Smells Good I should clarify: I’m not in any way ashamed of wearing a cheap fragrance like CDNIM. I told those ladies I was wearing Aventus because I wanted to keep CDNIM a secret. The price of Aventus is off-putting, and I knew that they probably wouldn’t purchase it because it’s so expensive. I feel like I work to find fragrances and to smell good, and I want to reward that effort by smelling unique. The Aventus/CDNIM scent is just too good and I’ll morn the day it becomes ubiquitous

Hi AC. I decided to go with Eau Sauvage because if i miss this chance i dont think i can get the vintage anytime. DHP i can still buy later. Also i feel DHP is more like a special occasion scent and i have Valentino uomo noir absolu and Black Orchid for that purpose at present.
A great list, AC. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on Dunhill ICON. It has come across a fragrance that may not be suited to warmer / hot (above 35 degrees) weather. Would you agree with that, AC ? And longevity issues too (as stated in your review of ICON too). Does it have any resemblance to another favourite of yours - PS Fine cologne - which in your review you have said is a cooler weather fragrance, AC ? Hi Sumant, great to see you stop by. Icon works well for me in all weather because of the Neroli and the airy cardamom and this year we have had very hot summer by UK standards. I am enjoying it thoroughly. I normally go 6-8 sprays for office environments and it gives me 6 hours easy sometimes more, depends on the fabric of my shirt as i spray 6 on my shirt and 1 each behind each ear. To my nose I do not find resemblance to PS but it just reminds of Terre d'Hermes a bit.
I tried Dior Homme Intense. Certain fragrances react badly on me, and all I can smell is suffocating vanilla. Intense is one of them. Is regular DH very vanilla centred?
I know this is a fragrance review but them shades are off the hook my friend haha were are they from? I'm interested in buying the Valentino oumo , prada and the elysium inspired 1 you have just set me off on to spending a fortune here ;) I will come back to you probably next week sometime and let you know how I get on . 👍
I love the dunhill icon. I did saw coffrets of 100 mls at 50% discount of all dunhills icons less that original. They had the 50ml coffret of it with 50% tho. But worths more pay for the 100 ml with 20% discount since you get the fragance box that i do prefer and equals price per ml. I think i will wait until i see the original with 25 or 30 discount. Right now on retail its 105 eur for the 100 ml bottle. I sprayed it on myself yesterday. Really amazing scent indeed. A most in every collection.
I already have Dior homme , Dior homme parfum, Valentino uomo intense and prada L’Homme . Is prada L’Homme intense still worth a purchase ? I found a 100ml bottle going for $40 so tempted to pick it up ...but does it differentiate itself enough ?

Hi Akash, mine is 2015 batch and I go 4- 6 sprays depending on my mood :). I get minimum 6 hrs. If I spray all 6 on my shirt I get nuclear projection and minimum 10 hrs longevity
Onenof my most complemented is Grey flanel by geoffrey beane ( I just butchered the name ) which came out in the 70s I believe and it is super cheap People seem to like it more than sauvage edp and more than creed aventus and even more than vesace eros Which is weird I personally enjoy it as well but I can't find many reviewers mentioning it at all liek it doesn't even exist And one more reason it is awesome is that it doesn't smell like anything else that I know I can find many similarities between the well known perfumes but this one is awesome and is a real headen gem
Did you smell Bvlgari Man Orient? I heard that it got discontinued aswell. It may be true since i only found it in a single local store. I kind of do like it. Altough after a few smelling i still do prefer the man in black and the essence one. The orient seems to hold a bit more than the essence. Essence smells better though. Orient its more smokey from what i get.
Valentino Uomo intence vs Dior Homme Parfum? Im really debating on those two. Amazing taste there. Im early in this fragance game. I do have: Sauvage EDT, CH Prive, Prada Lhomme, Mugler A*Man, Versage Dylan Blue and Eros. What is next in my list after one of the two previously mentioned: Polo Red Extreme, Mugler Cologne (not sure yet), Dior "Vintage" Eau Sauvage, JLG Ultra Male, Code Profumo (your opinion?) And Aqua Di Gio Profumo (Special Blend?).
Joao, vintage eau sauvage is awesome and code profumo is very nice as well. I will also recommend Artisan Pure, Prada L' homme intense and valentino Uomo noir absolu.
Prada intense is amazing. About the others you mentioned i still not saw them in my local stores. I will try to find them. Between Chanel allure sport extreme, versage pour homme and versage fraiche wich you think is better for the summer? Interesting fresh fragances. I do prefer prada lhome, dylan blue and dior sauvage for the office tho. Mugler cologne was a option for the office but i do prefer prada. That being said one of those 3 (2 versaces and chanel) would be for casual summer wear. If i do find pure artisan probably i will not get any of those 3 yet. I also do no found spicebomb normal or extreme. Altough my locals can get the normal version if i do a blind buy.
I think Chanel is the best !. If you like Prada then try Prada Amber brilliant summer scent. I think you dont need spice bomb , Bvlgari Man in Black is a better and cheaper option.
DHP and armaf club de nuit, you're not a fragrance man if you don't have these in your collection. Fantastic review. AC is the Hors Leuning of fragrances.
I can completely agree on the country part.. see I live in the uk like you I have a good collection of fragrances from Dior to Chanel to Issey miyake givenchy etc but iv only got 1 compliment in my whole life and that was back in 09 when I wore diesel only the brave and it was at work I got completed my a hot older women lol it’s either I’m intimidating or people in the uk are very reserved which I strongly believe is the case and not me being the issue but it doesn’t bother me

Max it is edt. I know where people come from when they say Mancera and ADP are niche houses but if you think about it they are so widely available that those houses are no more Niche houses any more. Go back 10 years and they were.
I think your channel and reviews have enormous potential. You come across as genuine and knowledgeable, which is what a lot of other reviewers lack. I would suggest one important thing, a microphone setup. I think it would be a relatively cheap way to add a lot more "production value" to your videos. The audio has a bit of reverb and I think it would help a lot.

have you ever bought a dawg. I got one Monday taking a chance on a sale. I wont mention the name. it was total chemical and what made it worse it had fantastic projection and life. I didn't use it, I put it out by the bins and three hours later it was gone. it would be good to hear some of your bad stories. also have you ever had a perfume wain in the bottle. a one million more or less died on me once. cheers

Great video! I agree with you about Cedrat Boise. I was in the parking lot of a large shopping mall near DC and this group of beautiful Women followed me across the parking lot to ask what I was wearing. This has happened several times.

Dunhill Icon is very good. I spray it on my clothes few minutes before i leave and its amazing. Try it also spraying the clothes inside wardrobe. Same with YSL Lhome.

Man, you slayed this video! Absolutely superb talk on your compliment getters. I can totally relate to the CDNIM compliment that you had. Once, after my workout at the gym, I showered off, applied CDNIM, and walked out of the locker room, and two women in their early 40s said “Oh my god, you smell amazing. Will you just walk around this place and let us follow your scent trail!?” They asked what I was wearing, I said “Aventus.” ;) Just the other day whenever I walked past the same two ladies, one of them started counting down “three...two...one...” and then she breathed in really deep as if to take in my sillage...of course I was wearing CDNIM. I feel like I have to wear it for them now. Ha!

Smells Good I should clarify: I’m not in any way ashamed of wearing a cheap fragrance like CDNIM. I told those ladies I was wearing Aventus because I wanted to keep CDNIM a secret. The price of Aventus is off-putting, and I knew that they probably wouldn’t purchase it because it’s so expensive. I feel like I work to find fragrances and to smell good, and I want to reward that effort by smelling unique. The Aventus/CDNIM scent is just too good and I’ll morn the day it becomes ubiquitous

I am the same as you, i like to wear unique frags. here are some you may want to sample, ADP Quercia, Baldessarini Ultimate, Versace Man, Rasasi Sotoor Taa, and finally Hermes Rocabar ( it's bit mature). I might do a video on unique smelling frags.

Hi AC. I decided to go with Eau Sauvage because if i miss this chance i dont think i can get the vintage anytime. DHP i can still buy later. Also i feel DHP is more like a special occasion scent and i have Valentino uomo noir absolu and Black Orchid for that purpose at present.

A great list, AC. I haven't been able to pull the trigger on Dunhill ICON. It has come across a fragrance that may not be suited to warmer / hot (above 35 degrees) weather. Would you agree with that, AC ? And longevity issues too (as stated in your review of ICON too). Does it have any resemblance to another favourite of yours - PS Fine cologne - which in your review you have said is a cooler weather fragrance, AC ?

Hi Sumant, great to see you stop by. Icon works well for me in all weather because of the Neroli and the airy cardamom and this year we have had very hot summer by UK standards. I am enjoying it thoroughly. I normally go 6-8 sprays for office environments and it gives me 6 hours easy sometimes more, depends on the fabric of my shirt as i spray 6 on my shirt and 1 each behind each ear.
To my nose I do not find resemblance to PS but it just reminds of Terre d'Hermes a bit.

I tried Dior Homme Intense. Certain fragrances react badly on me, and all I can smell is suffocating vanilla. Intense is one of them. Is regular DH very vanilla centred?
I know this is a fragrance review but them shades are off the hook my friend haha were are they from? I'm interested in buying the Valentino oumo , prada and the elysium inspired 1 you have just set me off on to spending a fortune here ;) I will come back to you probably next week sometime and let you know how I get on . 👍

I think it has. My current bottle doesn't project as much.
I love the dunhill icon. I did saw coffrets of 100 mls at 50% discount of all dunhills icons less that original. They had the 50ml coffret of it with 50% tho. But worths more pay for the 100 ml with 20% discount since you get the fragance box that i do prefer and equals price per ml.
I think i will wait until i see the original with 25 or 30 discount. Right now on retail its 105 eur for the 100 ml bottle.

Hi Akash, mine is 2015 batch and I go 4- 6 sprays depending on my mood :). I get minimum 6 hrs. If I spray all 6 on my shirt I get nuclear projection and minimum 10 hrs longevity

Onenof my most complemented is Grey flanel by geoffrey beane ( I just butchered the name ) which came out in the 70s I believe and it is super cheap
People seem to like it more than sauvage edp and more than creed aventus and even more than vesace eros

I personally enjoy it as well but I can't find many reviewers mentioning it at all liek it doesn't even exist
And one more reason it is awesome is that it doesn't smell like anything else that I know
I can find many similarities between the well known perfumes but this one is awesome and is a real headen gem

Did you smell Bvlgari Man Orient? I heard that it got discontinued aswell. It may be true since i only found it in a single local store. I kind of do like it. Altough after a few smelling i still do prefer the man in black and the essence one. The orient seems to hold a bit more than the essence. Essence smells better though. Orient its more smokey from what i get.

Valentino Uomo intence vs Dior Homme Parfum?
Im really debating on those two.
Amazing taste there.
Im early in this fragance game.
I do have: Sauvage EDT, CH Prive, Prada Lhomme, Mugler A*Man, Versage Dylan Blue and Eros.
What is next in my list after one of the two previously mentioned: Polo Red Extreme, Mugler Cologne (not sure yet), Dior "Vintage" Eau Sauvage, JLG Ultra Male, Code Profumo (your opinion?) And Aqua Di Gio Profumo (Special Blend?).
Im in my early 20s aswell.
Joao, vintage eau sauvage is awesome and code profumo is very nice as well. I will also recommend Artisan Pure, Prada L' homme intense and valentino Uomo noir absolu.
Prada intense is amazing. About the others you mentioned i still not saw them in my local stores. I will try to find them.
Between Chanel allure sport extreme, versage pour homme and versage fraiche wich you think is better for the summer? Interesting fresh fragances. I do prefer prada lhome, dylan blue and dior sauvage for the office tho. Mugler cologne was a option for the office but i do prefer prada. That being said one of those 3 (2 versaces and chanel) would be for casual summer wear. If i do find pure artisan probably i will not get any of those 3 yet.
I also do no found spicebomb normal or extreme. Altough my locals can get the normal version if i do a blind buy.
I think Chanel is the best !. If you like Prada then try Prada Amber brilliant summer scent.
I think you dont need spice bomb , Bvlgari Man in Black is a better and cheaper option.

I can completely agree on the country part.. see I live in the uk like you I have a good collection of fragrances from Dior to Chanel to Issey miyake givenchy etc but iv only got 1 compliment in my whole life and that was back in 09 when I wore diesel only the brave and it was at work I got completed my a hot older women lol it’s either I’m intimidating or people in the uk are very reserved which I strongly believe is the case and not me being the issue but it doesn’t bother me
But I do feel like people treat me differently when I do wear a fragrance if that makes sense hahha

I know where people come from when they say Mancera and ADP are niche houses but if you think about it they are so widely available that those houses are no more Niche houses any more. Go back 10 years and they were.
I think your channel and reviews have enormous potential. You come across as genuine and knowledgeable, which is what a lot of other reviewers lack. I would suggest one important thing, a microphone setup. I think it would be a relatively cheap way to add a lot more "production value" to your videos. The audio has a bit of reverb and I think it would help a lot.

The challenge is how to sync Audio and Video recorded separately. I am looking into it but some suggestions would be quite handy.

Absolutely mate, it will suit you a lot. Also since you are in the age group, you will most likely meet women of that age group, so try and wear sweet fragrances , as they really do dig it :)

I haven't tested it and nor the parfum but I have seen reviews suggesting that the EDT is the greatest of the 3 with Parfum following next.
have you ever bought a dawg. I got one Monday taking a chance on a sale. I wont mention the name. it was total chemical and what made it worse it had fantastic projection and life. I didn't use it, I put it out by the bins and three hours later it was gone. it would be good to hear some of your bad stories. also have you ever had a perfume wain in the bottle. a one million more or less died on me once. cheers
John, I have bought many bad fragrances mate and most of them were either blind buys by believing the hype or were me testing of a strip and getting impressed by the opening.
