Hmmm, so darkness is tough depends on your screen brightness if that makes sense. There is a huge difference in brightness depending on what type of screen i watch it on. TH-cam, iPads, phones, etc. When I print these I have to readjust again so be mindful we are only showing the base of what is going on. The printing or showing on a larger screen has to be tailored to that screen. Hope that makes sense.
So, if you are using continuous lights it is kind of the same but everything is lighted at once just like a flash. So a flash is a really bright light all at once, where light painting a slower process you can fine tune lighting on specific parts of an image bring more or less light on just 1 small piece of the photo. I do have other videos explaining this hope this helps.
Hi, Stafford, This is only my opinion, But I think your working too hard. I believe you light sensitivity is set a tab too low when your light painting.
Love that rustic quality. Beautiful, Stafford. Thanks!
Much thanks for watching Brian !
Good to see you back !
POTATO 😈👹
How to set the camera, it looks like its small aperture and low ISO?
Yes, I vary between Iso 25 and 400. Also aperture is about F1.9
Does this work the same with film photography?
Yes, but it is harder to tell how it is exposed FYI I do this on camera so you can see as it progresses. Hope this helps !
Stafford I want to ask you a question, Why are your images so dark?

How is the effect of doing light painting different than using continuous light or strobes?
