@@mikehannahs hell yea. I have no idea what happened to the old lineup, but they're not in the band anymore. Not discounting their contributions, I've met them all, great guys. But Sean is the face of Smile. He always wrote all of the songs as far as I know. Gotta respect him for sticking with it over the years even though they're not that big anymore.
@@mikehannahs He recently did a YT video on his Dean guitar with this bass pickup on it. I just saw them in concert last night, and while they were good, the bass sound would be better with a live bass player, especially someone who could help Sean out with backing vocals. The drummer is phenomenal, but does not sing and they had his sound up a bit loud. Sean does a lot more screaming, raw vocals live now, and I would prefer them less so, the way they are on record; a backup singer would definitely help fill out the vocals and alleviate the vocal strain for Sean.
He actually has a bass module pickup. That’s what the lights on the pickup are. Hooked into a splitter to its own channel and amp and what ever string he hits. It plays the lowest octave. So technically he’s playing bass at the same time. Watch and listen to him play bottom of the bottle at this venue.
@@ChrisCom. I know that. There are many baselines in the songs that don't follow the guitar. It sounds crappy. I've played with one for those guitars before
So underrated. He’s so Fkin talented. Seen them in 2003/2004 in Detroit. They were killin it on stage.
Simply flawless as always bro. We love you
From Edgy Lord Farquad to Swamp buddy. He still sounds amazing.

No quiero vivir como mi madre
No quiero dejar que el miedo gobierne mi vida
Y no quiero vivir como mi padre
No quiero rendirme antes de morir
Its forest when he went running forever.

No bass man?
He has a pickup on his guitar that plays bass. He's playing both guitar and bass at the same time
Damn that’s bad ass, I was thinking I heard bass and thought he was crazy 😂 sounds great, I want that pickup for mine now ha

It doesn't sound good without a real bass player. I would of done the tour for free.
i thought the same lol
@@jessicatasso322 it's missing a lot of the groove. I know how to play those songs on bass. Still good though
