I dont believe any English manager has earned the spot.
Because they are not good enough! Imo most are lazy.
I hate the idea of foreign coaches managing the England national team and I extend this to the cricket team (McCullum) and the England RU side until recently (Jones). I mean we can't ask Mbappe to rock up and don the white shirt at Wembley can we? We can't slip Alphonso Davies a sweet contract to solve our left back issue. So why is the coach any different?
I would make allowances for countries where there aren't qualified national coaches but England in any sport should NEVER hire a foreign coach. If you can't play a foreign player then you shouldn't be able to hire a foreign coach.

Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico don't have Spanish coaches but it's not impacting the success of Spanish managers overall
In fact 3 of the most high profile Spanish managers around right now, Arteta, Alonso and Emery never managed those 3 teams. The first two have never even managed a La Liga team as yet. Villa and Chelsea all gave English managers a chance and they failed to deliver. England isn't producing enough quality managers

I would have taken Klopp over Tuchel but I am still happy. England is one of most multicultural countries and we are moaning about a foreign manager when most of are league clubs are foreign owners and managers 😂
