I take my dreams to heart! I believe that whatever happened during the day, especially if I was triggered in a way and I didn’t fully speak my truth on the situation will come up in my dreams. Usually in a “worst case scenario” or (nightmare energy). So I feel my subconscious mind is showing me how things can play out if I do not sit with my feelings and process what I’m experiencing. Then when I do wake up the next day, it’s another opportunity to stand my ground and show up as my authentic self. I love working with my dreams because sometimes I don’t realize how impactful a situation was until it starts to come up in my dreams. Especially the repeated dreams??? Those be the ones that really be telling me how I’m feeling deep down. Like for example, whenever I have this reoccurring dream of me being stuck in a airport or missing my flight, it’s usually whenever in my “waking life” I feel like I’m missing out on doing fun things for myself, feeling like I’m leaving behind my old self but not quite where I really want to be. Writing my dreams down really helped me overtime get even more messages and a deeper innerstanding of how I may be feeling below the surface ✨
That takes a lot of self-awareness! I truly resonate with that for myself too. I think it's also very significant how there is not a true guid book to how exactly to interpret our dreams.
